Great glasses - customer services extremely helpful!

Ordered from here twice now and the customer service has always been spot on, will answer any questions you have fairly quickly. Love the glasses that came super sturdy and the process was super easy and quick. Would definitely recommend mad about specs to anyone! Also love the fact they do a free home trial so you can try on the specs before buying them!

The whole process was so easy with a very quick turnaround on my order. Being able to try some options at home was great and the price for my glasses was very affordable. I would use this company again.

Good price, good price, arrived in reasonable time, no problems.

The free home trial is really quick and easy to use.
I bought frames which took just over three weeks to arrive, and the tracking info didn't update during this time. The timeframe in their delivery info could therefore be updated - but the frames and lenses are great, so I'm happy.

I was unhappy that when I submitted my spectacle prescription the question wasn't asked, would I prefer to have one pair of spectacle with the requirements. Also I had no updates in the first place when spectacle would be ready and again yesterday I sent email for update for returned spectacle once work was done.

Order took a while to come because the lenses failed quality. But that's Ok I'd rather they were late than incorrect.

The styles were much more interesting than in the 'high street' and it was great to be able to try the glasses on at home. The customer service was efficient and friendly and excellent value.

Amazing glasses!! But the service was above and beyond amazing. After an unfortunate accident, my glasses broke and after corresponding online (in which they were also amazingly helpful), I sent them back. They put the lenses in new frames without any extra cost and got them back the next day!! I cannot praise them enough- will definitely use again

The glasses received took slightly longer than expected however the results are terrific. So pleased with my choices and the prescription is spot on

Overall, despite a few minor hitches I'm very pleased with this company and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

A good selection of specs at reasonable prices and the only online optician I could find who accept NHS vouchers (GOS3) as payment or part payment.

The minor problems were a slight delay in the glasses making process. I was kept up to date, they didn't just leave me hanging so definitely not a reason to drop a star.

The only other hitch was that the refund for the NHS voucher took a bit longer than expected but again, the communication was excellent and they were always quick to reply to my messages and after a couple of weeks the refund was issued so I'm happy....quite possible NHS bureaucracy was to blame for the delay.

Special thanks to Nuno who replied to most of my messages, he displayed patience, politeness and professionalism in the face of my bombardment of queries and questions and was always very quick with his responses.

One improvement I would suggest is the ability to 'virtually' try on the glasses, a service that some other online opticians offer....although I could have opted for a free home trial of the frames, I just don't have the patience for all that.

I received my glasses and unfortunately the prescription wasn't quite right in them as my eyes had changed. Mad About Specs were amazing at dealing with this! They asked me to get my eyes retested then I sent the glasses back with the new prescription and they sent me a new pair with the right prescription for free! The optician that helped me, Ravi, was so kind and helpful and the turnaround for the new glasses was so quick. I would whole heartedly recommend this company to everyone!

Really love this company. Ordered some made to order glasses which I decided didn’t suit me, this is after having THREE free trials.

Gaizka was super helpful and nice about the whole situation, he sorted the whole thing out so I had glasses I was happy with for no extra cost.

Have bought my glasses on-line for many years now and the price, quality and website of this company were very good. The only downside was the time before I received my order.

Can't speak more highly of this company. I was a little concerned about something as important as purchasing glasses online, but needn't have been! The team was more than helpful all the way through the buying process, promptly and patiently answering all my questions. When I finally received my order, although the glasses were perfect, I was even given the chance to choose and change the frame (I had bought a frame with random multi colour patterning) Result - 'One Happy Bunny!' I reported a warranty issue with my glasses on Friday, sent them back the same day and had new lenses fitted the Saturday, and posted back to me the same day!

Really helpful and friendly staff who will go out of their way to help, Nuno was great and went out of his way to make sure I wasn’t without my specs for any longer than needed.
