Hello I completed the Leap it is an amazing program. I had a good time and most importantly I learn a lot of creativity hacks. Mike's Automatic music machine development is a great way to improve your skills as music producer and creator. The methods of coaching definitely helped me to start thinking more on the solutions when I get stuck in a music project. I believe that I gained new skills as well. I would like to thank Luke who was my personal coach during my training, thanks for being there man! Another great addition to the program is that you get to be apart of a decent music production community. If you want to know how to become better music producer or looking for ways to improve your creativity then this is for you! Thank you Mike!

This review concerns 'the Leap' course. Before this course, I had about or four songs that I had been working on for the past two years that I had been procrastinating finishing and was starting to loathe. After this course, in a time span of six weeks, I had finished 5 new songs and sent several of the older songs of to be mixed. I cannot recommend these methods highly enough if you feel you would like to understand and have greater control over your creative practice. It may feel uncomfortable reworking your methods for creativity around someone else's ideas at first but I can promise that once you get down to it the system that Mike has laid out is of huge benefit not just for creating music but for producing any form of creative work. The inclusion of being able to repeat the course gives you time to absorb the content over several instances and also could be used as a regular structure for completing work. The cherry on the cake is access to the great coaches Luke and Arash and a very supportive network of other producers working in a wide variety of styles. If you are tempted and can afford it - do it! If you can't afford it keep an eye out for the idea explosion challenge and give that a go to dip your toe into the water. You shall not regret it.

Through weekly chapters full of excercises and weekly live calls, Mike and his crew dismantle all of your preconceptions regarding the process of making music until they reprogram your methods and your beliefs.
I've never ever had so much work in progress and my tunes are musically so much more diverse than they used to be, not to say how much more efficient I've become as a music producer!

Couldn't be happier with the course I just finished with Mike Monday, great content and really good pacing as well. The best thing is I'm quicker at producing much better quality music now.

The Leap has honestly been one of the best investments I've made in my music career! Unlike most other music related courses that tend to just give you techniques & tips on creating music, this course gives you the knowledge you need to increase your productivity and build your own music business from scratch. The coaches and community you get from this course are invaluable and always helpful when questions are needed to be answered. Add that they're incredibly friendly and nice people!

I just completed The Leap/Make Music your Life Program. I was hesitant to sign up as it seemed expensive, but I am so delighted as this was (by far) the best money I have ever spent on my 'education'. In 6 weeks I created almost 200 music ideas, and finished 5 tracks! The content is superb, very engaging. Many complex parts are gradually introduced and build upon to form a whole system, which, in the end, simplifies my music making process. The weekly coaching calls are top class, allowing you to learn from common challenges. Superb growth & life coaching info here. The slack community is also very supportive. I have already signed up again for Q1 2020.

I've spent more money on my studio and tutorials then most people have spent on their cars. Based on my experience if your goal is to make more music, better music, more consistently then the Leap is exactly what you're looking for!

Mike and the Make Music Your Life Coaches have literaly opened my eyes to a new world of possibilities. For real, I'm so much confident on my ability to make music, a lot of new pieces of music, without pain. I just stoped torturing myself and over thinking about non helpfull questions. The program is complete, you just have to trust the process and follow the instructions, step by step. And what's particulary amazing is the policy "once a leaper, always a leaper" I can redo the program whenever I want. I can had that I'am French, and was able to follow the videos and calls, with my level of English which is not perfect, I could understand everything and could ask everytime if something wasn't crystal clear. Having recently completed my first Leap course, I recommend this course without reservation to any composer / producer of any genre wishing to dramatically increase their ready to release output. Mike Monday and his team coach participants into a robust straightforward process (that provides depth as soon as you are ready for it) designed to establish rock solid habits, challenge your assumptions and maximise on learning from your own experience. The strong supportive community vibe has really encouraged me to immerse myself in the process and I shall do the course repeatedly and continually refine my habits. In short, I have learned to ‘get out of my own way’ and enjoyed being more prolific than I could have ever imagined. Very excited about what is already evolving from this - Bravo Mike!

It does exactly what is says on the tin, as we would say in England (thanks Ronseal 👍🏼).

The course really did deliver though. It's essential for anyone who wants to develop the mindset you need if you want to have music as the centre of your livelihood. It won't happen during the course though. But what Mike, his team and the Leap give you is that roadmap and the tools to get there. They start you off running and then you just need to make sure you put the time and effort in to keep it going.

Additionally, Mike and his team (shout out Luke and Arash) genuinely care helping people so you feel so supported, and there's so much content to provide added value (I'm still working through it and have not really made a dent).

I would really recommend it and I swear I haven't been brainwashed or have joined a secretive cult. Though Mike did say he was from the future once...🤔

I have been creating non-stop since taking The Leap. My passion for music is reinvigorated and it feels so much easier to make moves after breaking down my processes into steps like The Leap encourages. The systematic approach to taking creative steps in making music, although it seems counterintuitive (as creativity is so unbound and kind of elusive), is just the thing that helps propel creativity and allows new ideas to have a space in which to be explored. It reminds me of the Jocko Willink quote about how discipline equals freedom. Creating systems for moving through the music creation process allows for ideas to freely come through. I am so glad that I am a part of this community of creators! Thank you Mike Monday for bringing together this information and these wonderful people, and thank you to coaches Arash and Luke for all your wonderful advice and Socratic questioning 😄! I’m very happy with my experience in the course. I’d highly recommend it.

Be prepared for a lot, and I mean a lot of great information to kickstart your music, songwriting, focus, and income streams. Mike’s systems and analysis reignited my malignant music career and a 10 year dryspell from songwriting. He has improved my general life enjoyment within my family and in my full time career too.

I wanted to learn about the whole music-making process and how to think independently and make decisions to improve productivity and output.
The process being taught can be counter-intuitive. However, this is because our current usual thoughts during the creative process aren’t optimal.
I’ve come out of the course with a number of usable tracks ( I don’t want to overplay their quality as it's not for me to judge!) and with a pipeline of tunes created for the future… which is making me think of abundance rather than scarcity of creative ideas.
Mike, Arash and Luke have been very helpful. I have the impression that they are focused on gaining the best results for all participants, with tough love where necessary.
I still have the business side of operations to work through, but it all seems excellent information so far.
I’d recommend The Leap to anyone who would like to create more tracks of better quality and to gain insights into the ever-changing landscape of trying to monetise your music.

The Leap is truly “mind blowing”. It literary blows my mind in the way it gives me tools and techniques about how to make music and keep moving forward even if I feel low on energy, doubtful and carry a lack of inspiration. Its a bootcamp that will teaches everything from battling mental demons, streamlining the creative process to building a successful business model. It has given me a perspective of looking at what I do with a practice mindset.

The Leap brings the idea of separating the creator and the editor, by taking the editor out of the studio when listening to the music. It teaches how to listen to the music without judgement if its good or bad. If there is a "problem" with the song, I put it on the list and deal with it in the next session.
This gives more focused and streamlined studio sessions resulting in a huge timesaver. It makes it easier to have shorter studio sessions, resulting in not "destroying" the music by listening too much.

Included is learning and implementing “the automatic music machine”, which is a super tool to organise and streamline my creative process. It makes it so I can easily cycle through all the ideas, drafts and projects in a streamlined fashion. This will give more momentum and flow. When I get go in studio-mode there is always a plan, since the “editor” has already made a check-list. Even with really short studio-sessions I feel like I am still moving forward.

I have now unlimited access to the leap. Meaning that I can go through the program as many times and as detailed as I want. The program keeps evolving and getting better each time Mike Monday is running through it, and it continually gets upgraded.

Before I started “The Leap” I felt stuck... I was spending so much time trying to make that “perfect sound/song/etc” but would typically end up usually falling short of my expectations. I came across Mike through his Facebook Ads and also through other channels. Where the advertisement for "Leap 6" caught my eye, I read the description and it spoke to me immediately, because I recognized myself in there. After a little research and chats with participants, I decided to do the course.

Shortly before way, in these 8 weeks I could create a lot of music, more that I have done in the last years and even better, because it is so much, I can reach a certain level of quality.
With Mike's technique, which is completely different from what you learn in other courses and see in YouTube tutorials, you can use your precious time to make a lot of music, increase the quality and still enjoy life.

Mike and his tutors Arash and Luke will challenge you and try to animate you with certain techniques. The course is not just about leaning back, but about challenging yourself.

I'm glad I took this course and would recommend it immediately.

Really excellent course that focuses on the things that actually matter in the process of creating music. Mike is a top human being and a master in the art of coaching. You get to be on a coaching call with him weekly! The course can be taken over and over again so I´ll be back! I look forward to an update that includes ways to integrate lyrics writing in the process.

I have been writing and recording music for over 15 years and The Leap has changed my approach on a fundamental level, my perspective on writing and releasing music has completely shifted. I am now writing and finishing more music than I ever have before and the quality of my music has improved as well.

I would recommend dedicating yourself fully to the program. There is a lot of information, and while it may be fairly simple, it can be a long process to fully assimilate it. I feel that after the first time through The Leap I have barely scratched the surface and plan on going through the program again. The more time you have to dedicate the better.
