I'm making more+better music than ever. Thank you, Mike.
I am making more and better music than ever before and I am less stressed while achieving more. That sounds almost too good to be true, but it isn't. Mike has developed a method that works. It is not just a collection of tips and tricks but a framework for (A) approaching creativity and finishing songs and (B) managing the entire process from start to end. Saying that this is 'smart' would be an understatement. Mike has been researching psychology books and what well-known musicians do to find out what the actual problems are and how they could be solved. I can't recommend it enough and as far as I can tell, everybody else on the course agrees. Check Mike out on youtube and if unsure perhaps try his Idea Explosion Course (very affordable).

The Leap has helped transform the way I produce!
The Leap has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I can't believe how much more music I've made during these past several weeks that I am genuinely excited to work on! Learning this new process of streamlining our focused creative output each time we sit down for a session in our DAW, has been an absolute game changer for me. I can't wait to learn and grow more as a producer each day I put these practices and guides to use.

Take the Leap!
The Leap has been the solution I've been looking for to help me to make music every single day with no excuses. With weekly coaching calls, daily tasks and an active community to answer any questions, it's the best way I've found to instil a workflow that has helped me to make more music than I've ever done before. My output has already multiplied and the Automatic Music Machine has given me the tools to see this increase even more. Thanks to Mike, Luke & Arash for all of their help during this course. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to develop a workflow and habits that will help you generate lots of tracks!

Be ready: you will change your mind about yourself
I had difficulty at first to decide for this program, was not sure if I would benefit enough with the full-time job I have, or if I was ready enough in terms of my skills etc etc. However I was extremely satisfied with the program and the outcome.
My personal experience has been fantastic, of course I was following the program, doing the things which are targeted for each week and prioritize this program in order to meet the deadlines I set for myself (setting deadlines and targets for yourself is part of the program).
Here is a summary of where I found the most value:
- Systematic approach to music making
- I developed a habit of music making every single day
- Many shifts in my mindset happened during the course of the program, many beliefs crushed in a good way
- My self-confidence is 1000x higher in terms of what I can achieve in terms of music
- Many insights into the music making process which saves a lot of frustration and time loss
- Proof that progress and improvement is inevitable when I dedicated myself in a systematic way, streamlining the steps and tasks
- This system can be applied to other areas of music/art, for example I am using it to write lyrics as well, following similar steps
Finally, I can recommend this program to anyone who has started making music somehow but haven't had the progress they wanted, therefore looking to get restarted in some way and feeling stuck due to whatever reason, feeling insufficient to make music, thinking they don't have the necessary skills or knowledge.
That was my situation and it worked excellently for me, and was definitely worth the investment. I have a clear mind about my music and I am able to see what I need to do and I am able to dedicate myself to my music: this is where the difference will come for anyone.

Heavy Knowledge
It's a beast of a course and not to be taken lightly. If you can wrap your head around it, you'll learn life skills that transcend far beyond music. There is so much value to be acquired, I'll have to go through at least a second time as there is no way I could get it all in one go.

Worth it
This program really helped me to make alot of music and ideas for potential businesses. It was worth the money at a ground level of giving me a lot more control over my output and seeing how that can grow even more, plus much more on top of that. Mike and his coaches are really helpful and the community is one of the most supportive forums I have been involved in. Looking forward to the next round!

My creativity is cracked wide open!
I've taken many various creativity and art courses over the years. And by FAR Mike Monday's "The Leap" has been the most effective at actually changing the way I think about producing music (or art or anything). The system and framework he gives us in this course is brilliant and powerful. And it focuses on deep principles, so it isn't specific to any one style or genre. It isn't even specific to music. I'm using his principles to start making more art as well.
This course was incredible for me because it cracked open my creativity! I was stagnant. I had almost given up on music and hadn't produced or released anything in almost 9 years! Now I've released 4 new tracks, and more are coming soon.
I supercharged my entire system of making music. I feel like I can take bigger risks, because I have organized versions of all my past sessions. And because I'm working more freely. And because now I have more ideas than I could ever possibly finish! I made over 150 idea tracks in 2 months. At this rate, in 6 months, I'll have more music than I made in the previous 24 years!
He also gives us permanent access to the "Library" which is a collection of master classes, and deeper topics from productivity to mixing to business. I learned a ton about how to think about the "space" of my music. Mixing and mastering is easier now.

Mike Monday / The Leap
I took the 11 day Idea Explosion and was hooked at the end by the introduction of the Automatic Music Machine. I've been making music for 25 years and like many others, I'm sitting on a bunch of unfinished ideas. I've been trying to figure out a system to give me structure and order in my creative process. The AMM gives me a rock solid system to work on tracks at different stages of the process. I've created more ideas in the last 3 months than in the last few years combined. One of the biggest takeaways for me is to separate the Creator from the Editor. I'm still working on the finishing process but I now have all the tools I need to figure it out. Mike's knowledge of music production in addition to his study of psychology and human behavior makes his coaching truly one of a kind. The Leap was one of the best investments I've made in my career and now I have access to the Slack community as well as further Leap sessions for no additional cost. Game changer on every level. Highly recommended. Thanks Mike!

I would highly recommend this course to anyone with an open mind and willingness to learn.. not just about music but about yourself and the learning process. Of course the goal is music but I have learned so much more about the process than could have imagined. Thank you so much, Mike! Luke! and Arash!
Game changer
The most game changing course I've ever come across. Would recommend to anyone who wants to take their music to the next level. In just 8 weeks I ended up making 200+ song ideas, 40+ done tracks and about 10 are being prepared for release as I write this. My previous record was around one to two tracks finished every year. Game. Changed.

Do as Mike says and you’ll be surprised at how things improve for you. It’s a constant challenge to overcome ones internal saboteur, yet The Leap is on point to help. Thanks guys
Mindset and Paradigm Shift
Mike obviously cares about the results that each student takes from the course. He does a great job of getting us there.
The thing that sets this course apart is it is action based. Mike has laid out the actions that will produce the result we are after. And he does a good job of inspiring us to take the actions. He has clearly pulled from many many sources to zero in on effective methods of teaching. I have been making music personally for 20+ years so it is easy for me to say, “yes I know this already. I know how to produce music.” But when I approached it with an open mind and allowed myself to be “coachable” (ie, not a know-it-all), I was blown away by all that I learned and how much I could tweak and overhaul my creative process.
Mike is delivering something to last the ages. Not a quick product but a method and mindset. A paradigm shift.
One of the best things I did to my…
One of the best things I did to my music so far was to get involved in the Leap 3.
Finishing music like changing shirts. That’s where you get and nowhere else with this program :)
As what they said, game changing
The joyful experience of music-making can be attained once you follow through this 2-month course to cultivate music-making as a daily habit. Essentially that's the gist of it.
Thanks to Mike's course I was able to…
Thanks to Mike's course I was able to not only get 12 songs ready for release that I am currently writing lyrics for. I also simplified my mixing process and have re-animated songs that laid waste for years, reduced the amount of instruments I am using to achieve a more pronounced sound and started to focus on my strengths (music I can do now with my heart and soul vs. music I want to do in my head).
Ironically the new music I am creating with Mike's system comes much more freely to me, while at the same time being more interesting and experimental with much less effort.
I’ve already got 2 months of new music scheduled and for the first time am not only thinking about what I may do while being totally overwhelmed with where to start, but am actually taking steps forward, while the music is flowing almost automatically. First time that I am actually starting to get my music out there and getting in touch with people about it.

The Leap - well worth it!
I had followed Mike for several years and have been inspired by his approach. Even using the free resources led me to be more creative than I had been for many years. I took the Leap 4 course because I knew it was time to nail down on music productivity and progress, and to gain detailed insight into new ways to approach the business side of things, as a music creator. The course was great, and has totally changed my approach to writing and producing music. This was definitely worth the price. The fact that the course includes various bonus items and access to a library of other tutorials and resources is also great. The process could only have been developed by someone with Mike’s deep music knowledge and experience. Mike’s approach is unique, combining regular process methods with (very light!) neuroscientific techniques to help you get the best out of yourself. One area Mike mentioned may need changing in the future would be more FaceTime/video interaction rather than voice only for the group calls. This took a bit of getting used to but wasn’t a huge problem. But in summary, if you are a committed music producer who wants a new approach to productivity, this is very definitely worth a look.

made 1,800 pieces of music in 1 year
i had been playing music since i was a teen, and when i took off for college, i set music aside. 4 years after college, i found a new passion in marketing, and that led me to meeting mike monday.
(let's be clear, i wasn't very good. i was an intermediate level who peaked. "good enough" if you will...)
by this time, i had discovered the world of producing electronic music, bought a bunch of software, taken a bunch of classes, and only produced maybe a dozen tunes or so.
a year later after meeting mike and taking his course "The Leap," i made 1,800 pieces of music (and still counting)
what really happened before college is i lost my passion in music because i couldn't see a future in it.
the irony is, music never actually left me, and mike was responsible for "releasing the dragon" inside of me.
first, he helped me see music in a totally new way, and how your mission (as a music producer) is to protect your creativity... not how you can "make money through music."
and the key is he doesn't do it in a way that actually TELLS you what to do (i know, "da fuq, Mike?") - he gives you exercises and helpful thoughts that will lead you to come to your own conclusion about the lessons he's actually teaching you.
then he helped me effectively curb my inner critic when it came to creating music, which started to release a flood of music that i had been holding back for years.
once he removed the "mental barriers" for me, he helped me find ways to stay on top of my game and stay focused, especially in our current time of ultra sensitive, hyper ADHD.
by the end of the program, i knew exactly how to take my music, create a business out of it, and without demolishing my love for music by mixing it up with my need to make a living.
i have over a dozen tracks i'm ready to release. obviously they're not finished, but to go from "no music" to "1800 pieces of music" to now "a dozen tracks ready to release" is just incredible to me.
i still wonder how i’d lived life for so long WITHOUT music. like i was sleepwalking the whole time or something. now i can’t imagine another day without it.
it's only year one, and there's a whole lot more out there for me. this is only the beginning of something rad.
if you know music is something you truly love, or becoming a musician is something you gave up hope on, then mike monday is exactly who you need to talk to.
be ready to put in the work, and understand that it all starts with you and your mental approach to music.
hope to see you inside the program! :) let's rock it.

The best music investment you will ever make
I had been attempting to finish tracks for almost 20 years with lots of gear and very little to show for it, until I came across Mike Monday's first course "Start Now, Finish Fast".
That course single-handedly made me realize that what it was I was missing was not the gear or the skills, but the creative habits to actually implement what I already knew and get to actually creating and finishing music.
That was a long time ago, and this new course is truly Mike's masterpiece so far.
I have since been a part of Mike's mastermind group and seen The Leap evolve from the systems Mike was teaching in the private coaching groups to a full blown system that I can say with some confidence is an absolute game changer for producers and musicians of ANY level. I mean it, I think even a platinum status artist would see this system and think "This is amazing, this is how I'll create and organize my music going forward".
Personally, in the 2 years since I started Mike's program I have gone from having never had a release, to charting, in order, a Top 10, a #1, a #3 and a #7 Beatport Progressive House releases in the past 18 months.
My music has gotten the approval nod of some of the top names in the industry, and I've even gotten to work with some of my biggest influences. I'm just about to put out a 9 track release next month that basically contains all the music I was able to finish in the past 2 years, and I absolutely credit Mike Monday for this accomplishment.
Do not let the price scare you away, you know how much money we spend on gear lol... Gear that will never give you the results you will get from this course. Take The Leap, do it :)
