I am a long time student of Mike…
I am a long time student of Mike Mondays, and personally love his teachings with regards to anything related to music itself, but more importantly the approach itself. I have done a few of his courses, but the main course that has absolutely, categorically changed my practice is his latest ‘Leap’ programme. It is just astonishing how much of a difference bringing order and discipline to your work flow does for you in a creative manner. I now finish 10 quality tracks a month where as previously it would take me a year to achieve a similar output I was happy with.
So much love for your teachings and I am very excited to continue learning from your projects!

The Leap
When I decided to take The Leap with Mike Monday I never knew what I was capable of till now. I have so much more confidence in my own abilities.
It used to take me up to 8 weeks to finish one tune and I would only work on one tune for those 8 weeks. Little did I know how much I was severely limiting my creativity and the overall quality of my music. With what I've learnt I can confidently say that I am now able to make at least 4 or 5 tunes in that time frame.
I'm loving the feeling of falling in love with my music and making music! With the "Automatic Music Machine" system the creative process is nowhere near as painful as it used to be and I experience flow more often.

Leap
i have been following mike monday for quite a while now, so it is hard to remember what things were like before !
I certainly made music, got some sync and radio plays ec - but each tune and project was hard won … i was always guilty to start something new as i was so aware of unfinished tracks that i had put vocalists or musicians on and knew they were waiting .
Anyway I found Mike - and lots of things started happening and i began to love making music again
also changed direction musically as it seemed suddenly “ok “ to do that - the fact that i was making music every day made me looser and more imaginative.
He has a unique “triple threat” going on ..
music mindset -
1 he shows you how getting out your own way and getting out the musics way is a game changer
(plus he knows about cool ways to market your music without being a total div )
)
2 Al the online music gurus say “obviously you have to make great music” and then go on to tell you how to do a facebook add.. Mike actually has some great ideas and info about how to make music - how to arrange , how to think about your sound, and music composition
3 how to make shedloads of music - and increase your general productivity
I was commissioned to make a cassette for small experimental label. I submitted 10 tracks but it turned out they wanted 20 thanks to Mike i had a load of nearly ready stuff in my “done” folder and banged out some more just for the fun of it.
(they are probably the best tunes )
plus he is a really nice, funny and kind and he originally comes from my post code, South London - what more could you want

In last couple of years I have significantly improved my music production skils and number of quality releases just by following few steps that Mike is talking about. Thanks Mike <3

Music is now my Life - thanks to Mike!
Participating in Mike Monday's "The Leap" coaching program over the past year has been critical to helping me become far more productive in my studio activity, resulting in literally hundreds of new recorded ideas, several finished pieces, and a handful of released tracks. Basically he's taken me from practically zero production to the point where I am creating every day and releasing regularly, and the pace continues to accelerate.
Mike's great strength is his ability to gather, mix and match proven and well-tested principles and techniques and apply them concretely to the problem of musical productivity. He will provide you with an automatic creative process that guides you every step of the way so you can focus 100% on your creative work.
You do have to follow his instructions to the letter and put in an appropriate amount of effort - Mike will make it clear exactly what this means. But if you follow his program you WILL begin to create a level of output beyond anything you may have imagined possible.

I was this close to giving up before taking the leap
I came to the course completely disillusioned with music production and my ability to complete anything.
After completing the Leap I found I had completely renewed my love for writing music again.
I started making better music and lots more of it. I have even started to believe that I can make an income from it.
Without the Leap, Mike’s enthusiast attitude and the techniques he uses I would have sold my studio gear and moved on with my life.
I am applying the things I have learnt with Mike in other areas of my life to great effect.
Hands down the single greatest thing I have ever done to improve my ability to write and complete music.

A must for any modern music producer
When I started my first program at Make music your life I hadn't completed one single song in 20 years of musicianship and was so mentally blocked that I sincerely believed that I would never become a professional music producer.
Now a few years later I haven't only finished a lot of music, I have also started to make good money from it!
Instead of learning musical scales, which gear to get or how to create a certain type of music, you learn how to be productive and to find your true musical sound.
Even though the course material is easily digestible, you will have to put effort into challenging your thought patterns and to do exercises which might not seem to make sense until afterwards.
A must for any modern music producer!

Best thing I've done for my music
This class was a game changer. I've been making and releasing music for over nearly 20 years and I wish this class was around when I started. When I joined the class I was worried I woudn't have enough time as I was working 2 jobs but I learned how to manage my time and be more productive than ever. It's been about 4 months since the class started (been done with it for about 1.5 months) and I've finished 17 tracks that I'm ready to release. I realized that even when life is happening I keep the habits I learned in the class and music just gets finished. Which I'm sure is why Mike calls it the Automatic Music Machine. The class was the best thing I've done for my music.

Mikes Program is almost enlightening
Mikes Program is almost enlightening.
It is the only ressource I know which deciphers the psychological effects around procrastination, fear and uncertainty within our creative process.
Knowing about these, as well as the psychological aspects about how the music industry suggests ‚progress through products’, the user is able to structure his creative work in valuable slots.
Avoidance of distraction and a razor sharp focus on the specific tasks of the current state of the creative process lead to instant results and success within the 8 weeks. The program is designed to show how finishing tracks gets automated even with limited time (few minutes per day).
Even better: this is a lifetime subscription, which lets you recap all the valuable information at any time!

Mike Monday made me a better person
Mike Monday made me a better person. He kind of tricked me into it, but, hey, I can live with that. See, what on the surface looks like a music production course is also a course in self development, with music as the prime mover. Mike wants you to take control of that prime mover, so he will indeed keep his promise to help you improve your music. But he will do it by focusing on the relevant bits: you and your creative practice. He boils it down to some universal truths, like keeping at it no matter what, and detaching yourself from what you create. Any successful artist will tell you that these abilities are most important. But Mike is one of the few who will teach you how to actually form them.

The Leap is the one!!
I have done many of Mike’s courses over the years, and his latest course The Leap is a game changer. It’s like the culmination of all of his teachings distilled into a refined system that allows me to make more quality music than I ever could imagine. I have been using this system for about 8 months and it has helped me to continuously compose and produce many styles of music from artist releases to film scores.
Mike is very unique in the way he approaches the creative blocks many of us experience when writing and producing music. He tackles the issue at its most fundamental level and continuously keeps the focus on what actually reaps incredible results. Many of these techniques can seem like they go against everything we know to begin with, but as the process and system unfolds, it’s like being let into some crazy secret that was actually staring you in the face the whole time. I only wish Mike had been sharing this knowledge when I first started out. It would have probably saved me years of wasting time focusing on aspects of music making that are the least important. It’s a system I now completely trust, and it has made the process of creating music so much more natural and inspiring.
I recommend The Leap (and his other courses) to anyone who takes their music making seriously. Mike is a genuinely top bloke with a great team, and he has made it his mission to share this knowledge in the most accessible way possible which I think is admirable.
If I could only choose one music course out of everything available out there The Leap would be the one. In my humble opinion, you don’t need anything else but this knowledge and the determination to see it through to have great success in your music making.

Highly recommended
I have been using Mike as a coach for a couple of years now and gotta say the results have exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Mike manages to ask me the questions I need to answer, help me figure out where to put in effort and generally push me forward by doing the right things, even if I have some sort of resistance to doing them. In retrospect, I usually always come around and realize that they were the right actions to take. I'm in for a long term relationship here. Oh, and he's super friendly too. Love him!
One of the most influential teachers I've ever worked with...
Mike Monday is one the most influential teachers I've ever worked with. I've gone from experiencing a tremendous amount of frustration and suffering with music, to being on the way to becoming a prolific music finishing machine!
Mike had an incredibly successful music career: he studied at Oxford University, released over 300 tracks, and toured all over the world before awakening to his next mission of helping electronic music producers.
He now coaches everyone from beginners to A-list producers/DJs including Claude VonStroke (Dirtybird). He has a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of the music industry from making music, to releasing music, to running record labels/global music brands, touring, remixing, marketing, promotion, etc.
This information is very difficult to find, and usually, you have to piece this together from many different sources. Mike has helped me connect all these pieces together.
His coaching exceeds just the remit of electronic music production and expands into all areas of your life. His guidance has helped me to look at the way I make money and increased my revenue, as well as improving my relationships both in business and personal, and transformed the way I think and feel about myself.
In a landscape where there is no clear path, having a coach/mentor like Mike is absolutely essential. As he has discovered, the fundamental difference between an amateur and a pro is mindset. Mike will help you create a winning mindset and give you all the tools you need to forge a successful career in music.

Changed Everything
After taking Mike Monday’s course “The Leap”, I realized I’ve never written as much music on a daily basis in my entire life than during this intensive eight week program. The biggest change for me came in my beliefs, mindset and workflow In finishing quality tracks that will be released on a consistent basis.

My best year in music – Now I believe I can make it :)
I'm so happy I came across Mike's work in 2013. Then it took me years to really get down with my music making.
The Mindset is probably the biggest part.
Thanks to Mike I made Splurging (which is laying down a musical idea or more, as fast as possible) my very first daily habit since May 5, 2019. I followed with adding a Lyrics Splurge to make a habit-combo. Now I'm adding my QiQong morning routine to the chain.
I made 90 of them before listening back, and when I was listening after a few months of doing it this shift happened : I can make it.
My doubts lost their power because I now have the proof that I can generate loads of quality music. It's just common sense. The material is here.
Then Mike and his team of coaches (previous students) through The Leap taught me how to finish music fast with a process that makes it effortless (which doesn't mean easy, but at times it does feel quite easy actually).
The Automatic Music Machine is the weapon that will allow me to make music my life.
While taking The Leap 3, I created more than 100 new track ideas. I finished two amazing remixes in record time (8 hours total in short felt-easy sessions in a two-week span) and got 10 tracks done.
The community is also a huge value and I'm very glad to be part of it now.
All of my future successes will flow from what I learned through Mike.
Not only with music, but business and life in general.
I unlocked my creativity and it amazes me day after day.
I've been working with Mike Monday for…
I've been working with Mike Monday for a few years now and have learned so much. His systems, courses, and coaching have provided insane value. I have learned so much and become so productive as a musician as a result. I've finishing better music than ever before and enjoying it more than I thought possible. Highly highly recommend!
Things I never thought available
I struggled years with my own music. Read thousands of “hot tips” watched countless videos on youtube, went through the same brainwash as others nearly losing my sanity and grinding away my will to make music. But somehow I left my email on Mike’s subscription list. I really don’t remember how I’ve stumbled upon it in my search of understanding.
But one day, I’ve got a promo email explaining his “splurge method” and a couple of instructions on how to do it. I remember reading it and saying out loud “hey this is none of that bulls**t I see day after day just trying to get me to buy some new plugin or synth I don’t need”. I tried it out that day, lo and behold, I’ve made progress. I wasn’t sure if it was a one off thing, so I tried it again and again and again. I’ve only got results results and results out of it. I have rediscovered my passion for music it seemed. I started slow, with the one mission subscription. I did that for a couple of months then took the leap course and then joined his mastermind. These purchases and subscriptions? Best money I’ve EVER spent so far in my life for education.
Let’s be real. He won’t do the heavy lifting for you as no coach/teacher/mentor will. He will, however point you to the direction you need to go. Encourage you, lift you up when you have fallen and just shake you when you go down in your rabbit holes. If you have the means to try what he does, do, it will do you a great favor.
TLDR: he is one of the good ones, doing the good work. I cannot recommend him more.
The Real Deal
I've been working with Mike and his content for a few years now and went from having too many creative blocks and insecurities to mention, to comfortably producing music every day. I've witnessed Mike help everyone from relative beginners to A-List producers be on top of their game and create every day.
I doubt there is anyone with the experience and passion of Mike out there, who is helping producers overcome these most difficult challenges. If you work with Mike and follow his advice, you'll grow as an artist and as a person.
Face to face with your creative producer self
The education you get from this operation is great. It's where you get face to face with your own creative process in a no-nonsense and well-formed fashion. The production system you learn here is what you can build upon for the rest of your life. None of the programs concerns a focus about technical music production details, but about getting the music made.
At first, some methods may seem unorthodox, or even faulty to some, but once you experience the process in depth, great insights start to fall upon you. For me, these just keep coming the more I use it. I feel this system is not only a good way to work, but is how I want to work for a very long time.
I now know that I can write new music every single day in very short times, that I can take a number of those ideas forward to completion in a shorter number of weeks working with the time that I have available. This is in a system that allows me to have control over everything produced, the creation process and have a lot of fun as well as getting through phases that aren't so fun with my productivity intact.
The main production systems and methodology of Make Music Your Life have taught me how to not be a perfectionist about every single little detail and turn out large, to me unheard of, numbers of high quality music.
I also have a great system for marketing this growing amount of music to my fans that is adapted to the real world of today.
The content of Make Music Your Life needs to be experienced and lived. It's growing on me also after many months, because I feel I'm facing exactly those aspects of being a music producer that I now understand I need to encounter to be able to keep doing this music thing for as long as I want.
I wholeheartedly recommend Make Music your Life to anyone serious about music production. Potentially, it's the best money I've ever spent. My world has been turned upside down in many ways and I love everything about it.
