Spoke to Claire in the shop. She was so professional and a credit to the company. Bought a Reconditioned DC14 vac which looks and works like new. Will shop with them again.

Even though order was free from postage items arrived in two days of making the online order. Genuine parts supplied.

I combed the internet for dyson replacement part, the brush bar motor cog. They are the closest to what I need. Other stores sell the whole vacuum head. I only have one broken part in the head. Item described as used and working and arrived exactly as described also timely. Not to mention that seller has online tutorial on how to do the replacement.

The handle snapped on our reliable and well-used DC01, but we were not in a position to buy new. Solution? Manchester Vacs. Manchester vacs was extremely helpful all through the purchase process. I received the item in less than a week, which was extremely unexpected considering I live in the US. The How-To's in the forum for maintenance tips were also very useful.

Recently our Dyson DC14 Animal burnt out its motor and decided to buy a new one so we replaced it with DC 41. I realised that the 14 was still in great condition apart from the motor so I spoke to Manchester Vacs who supplied me with a replacement motor, filter and a screwdriver to remove the Dyson screws. I found the price was unbeatable and the delivery was in 2 days, in addition I found the advice from their staff was very helpful. This is the second time I've used Manchester Vacs and highly recommend them.
Incidentally my old Dyson is now happily cleaning my daughters home and she is delighted.

I found some hard-to-get DC01 spares here. Very pleased.
