My better half ordered 4 mince beef pies mash and liquor for our tea tonight.
Cooked as per instructions and looked awsome !!!
But unfortunately that was as far as I can say looked great tasted or should I say not tasted WTF was the flavor 😳
I must sat it was the most blandest food I’ve ever eaten mince beef pies no taste, liquor or whatever it was no taste. Mash tasteless
For £35.00 you’d expect a bit more !!!
Disappointed

Our usual Pie and Mash shop stopped deliveries so we decided to try Manze. Placed a large order but the liquor was tasteless. Contacted to complain but no remedy offered. Also the pies were very inconsistent in colour and taste, some very dry inside. We won't be ordering or visiting Manze in the future.

Even after following cooking instructions the pie bases were undercooked. The mash was lumpy and the liquor was utterly tasteless. I totally wasted almost £40 and definitely would not recommend.

Always wanted to try traditional Pie,Mash and Liquor.Really disappointed.Pie had no gravy and little meat.Mash was lumpy.Liquor had no taste.All lacked seasoning and flavour.

Very disappointed we had this as kids and was always great. We decided to order this online and was so disappointed hardly any meat in the pies and very dry the liquor was no where what it used taste like and an after taste will not order again.

My husband and l were brought up on Pie & mash through our teenage year . We left London 45 years ago . We visit the city of London before COVID and went to the Manzies on Tower Hill Rd . Absolutely delicious. We ordered recently as we know live in Shropshire . What a horrible disappointment!!! No flavor in the stewed eels no taste what so ever in the liquor , pies very small with no flavor at all . Very sad and will not be ordering again . I brought enough to pop some pies and liquor in the freezer but we threw 4 pies and trays of liquor away . 😤

Very disappointed with my first order. The pies are small with very little meat filling and are quite dry with very little seasoning. The mash was okay but needed butter and cream added. I hadn't tried liquor before today but its not something I loved and I wouldn't reorder in the unlikely event I order again. PS 2 pies were barely enough for 1 and the pastry was not nice.

I was slightly disappointed with the jellied eels as they were hard. Also the liquor in the stewed eels ( which were lovely) had a few lumps of potato in it

Ordered for my parents 60th wedding anniversary meal and it did not disappoint. Excellent service from ordering to delivery. Food turned up well packaged and very chilled. Easy instructions for heating. Delicious!

I will be honest when my husband said he wanted me to order pie, mash & liquor I was not looking forward to it! But I was pleasantly surprised and actually impressed. We had our first order arrive today and will order again. Well packaged, arrived on time, easy instructions, and very good quality food. High percentage of meat in the pies .

I use to live in bermondsey remembering the market and the old maize used it many times and today the taste. is still fantastic we had it for Christmas dinner and well it was. Great thank u

Used to have Pie & Mash from a shop in the Barking Road, East Ham growing up in the early 60s it was our Saturday treat. There's nowhere here in Devon that does Pie & Mash. So glad I googled and found Manze. Delivery received and it took me back to my younger years. Will be ordering more again. Thank you.

First time ordering bulk as a gift for someone who was just out of hospital. Was well received. Quick delivery. The chill packs are great stayed really cold and even better that can use them on plants in garden after.
Food was lovely as always.

What can I say!, This was our first order from M.Manze pie and mash shop, and it didn't disappoint 😋 we can't remember the last time we had such a true tasting pie and mash. We will definitely order again, keep up the tradition 👍 10/10

went to tower bridge rd on 14 nov orderded 5 pies 3 liquor to take away liquor was most shitte i ever tasted had a coconut flavor in and has put me off in going back again and i have used this place since 1968 never ever had this before it has put me off pie and mash

Got to say when I saw Manzes delivered I thought great , used to love going down walthamstow market Saturday lunch time .... pies were as amazing as I remembered, the mash was OK but had big lumps and black potato eyes in it .......the liquor was horrible all I could taste was corn flour (i take it its used to thicken it)... not as I remember it at all ... so a little hint , buy your pies from here but honestly I'd do your own mash and parsley sauce (liquor). .

Made me feel 13 again I'm 58 now bless you guys made

Was told an order had been despatched on Friday 28th November, on 29th November received 2 emails from Yodel saying order out for delivery at a certain time and then another email saying order delivered..nothing received as order never existed...
