I received a letter from HMRC in December saying I was owed money and that the money, i assumed it was being sent to me, so i need to find and check my letter again. as of today i still hadnt heard anything or received the cheque, so i called HMRC to find out what was happening to then be told the cheque was sent to Total tax claims people who were dealing with it on my behalf... they also advised they were on my account and would deal with any future tax refund etc... Why would you be dealing with all future claims now???? As of today I haven’t heard anything from total tax claims and have sent an emails without reply as yet.... I also called the phone number from HMRC to then get a message on the other end saying they dont take calls, but please email us!!! sounds like a fraudulent so far....

As agreed between myself and the customer care team, I shall rewrite a review and give a conclusive review.
I shall edit this when I have the time to do so.
I've not received my cheque and its well surpassed the time given.
In response:
I have emailed you twice no response from either. So far it feels like a fraud.
You've left no phone number for me to ring and there's no way to contact you.
I shall be calling tax office in relation to this, to claim my money back and all money you profited from me.
I believe a ombudsman should investigate your business too as your fees were not clear.
You said 42% inclusive of all charges, but then added the administration fee, which is a charge so you've mislead customers, including myself.
The word all means everything should have been included within the 42% not added an extra fee on top.
Also why would I publish my contact details on a website where anyone can use my data? I'm struggling to see the legal side of your company. I believe anyone taking you to court would easily take you down and you'd probably get a prison sentence.

The percentage charged for their services is extortionate which could be made clearer to the customer.
I was meant to receive a cheque for £40 from the £170 I was due which I have not received.
I have been waiting for this since November 2022. I have sent an email which was bot even replied to.
I feel stupid for trusting a company instead of contacting HMRC myself
