Con artists!!!

Like all these stories I have fallen victim too. I ordered the marshmallows in January but still haven't received them. I have emailed several times but no response. I did also ask for a refund but still nothing. I think they must just be con artists! I wish I could report them but not sure who to.
They should not be trading.

Great mallows, slow, frustrating service.

I have ordered several times and have had pretty much the same experience each time. Really great mallows, but slow, poor customer service. My latest parcel took a month to arrive. Two weeks prior, I had received an email saying my goods were ready to be shipped, but then nothing arrived. I contacted Carmen to be told she had to hold back with deliveries as she is unable to send mallows in hot weather. Another week passes and when I contact her again, she tells me my package has already been sent and will arrive in a day or two. Five days later, still nothing. I email again telling her I'll be seeking a refund, and finally, I get an email with a tracking number. When I entered this into the Royal Mail website, it says they can only give you info if they have already tried to deliver. In other words, and as I already suspected, my goods hadn't already been made up or shipped as Carmen claimed, but had only very recently been sent out! It is painfully obvious that she cannot cope with the demand for her goods and really ought to employ someone else to speed the process up. Instead of being more honest and admitting that she's overburdened and needs more time to get your order out, I think she fobs you off with excuses. My experiences are very similar to the others here, so we can't all be wrong. It's such as shame, as it puts you off buying from her again, when really,she should be a mallow millionaire by now, the product is that good!

This business gave me months of upset

This business gave me months of upset. I ordered just before Xmas and was promised it would arrive before. Three months later still no parcel. Shocking customer service. I will never order from this business again. Refund only appeared when I told Carmen I was reporting her to the ombudsman. Worst internet experience ever. I think she secretly hopes you give up and she gets to keep your money. It's a form of stealing! She ignored numerous e-mails.

Find another marshmallow seller!

I, like many others have had issues with waiting months for delivery and lack of response when sending emails making enquiries about where they were. On the last occasion it resulted in requesting a charge back from the bank for failure to deliver goods, as although swift to take your money they are not so swift to deliver the goods.

Having had my concerns about the company I searched for them on Companies House and the Food Standards Agency website but they were nowhere to be found, unless of course they trade officially under another name. I also doubt they are based where their information says they are as they are also not listed on the estates website as occupants, again I could be wrong and the website is outdated, I didn’t call the estate to make further enquiries.

I did post two reviews on the company Instagram page, both of which were deleted by them and followed by the standard please contact us with your order details so we can help reply DM.

I have since found a reputable vegan marshmallow seller that I will be using from now on and I suggest others do so too!

Gorgeous veggie marshmallows that are…

Gorgeous veggie marshmallows that are so hard to find in the UK but unfortunately delivery just takes too long. I ordered marshmallows in December and after 5 reminder emails that they haven't arrived and being told that they would be sent out 'first post' about a month ago, my marshmallows have finally arrived today... 3 months later. Like other people here only a couple of my mails were answered then there was a deadly silence! It's very unfortunate as I don't think I will be ordering from this company any more. I certainly wouldn't feel confident enough to place an order for a special occasion such as a wedding or birthday. Real shame :(

AVOID!!!!DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have ordered there twice.The first time the delivery took 5 weeks(after i complained the parcel had mysteriously been posted out on the day I requested a refund), the second time my order hasn't arrived after 8 WEEKS. Again I contacted them.No apology no nothing just excuses.They said they would posit it out the next day, a week later I am still waiting.Worst customer service ever.Avoid this company.If you can't keep up with supply don't offer your services.Absolute ridiculous business practices.

3 complaints, no response

Like others here, I ordered at the end of December 2017 and have not heard anything else. Sent 3 complaint emails and have not heard back from any of them. I will be looking into escalating this but I think everyone should avoid ordering from here like the plague.

Edit: I finally got a response and they agreed to send on my original order. I think 2 stars is reasonable considering the lack of any kind of communication for over a month. Would still recommend others to look elsewhere.

Ordered 26th December 2017

Ordered 26th December 2017.
Nothing received, e mailed Carmen no reply.
Sent further e mail on Friday evening 26th January advising i would contact my bank to raise a chargeback and i received e mail next day to say order would be sent that day.
Still no goods so again contacted Carmen who advised had not sent and would try to send this week.
Told Carmen i will contact my bank if she does not refund. They will raise a chargeback against her to refund my payment by debit card.
I will also contact Trading Standards as this person should not be allowed to trade.

DO NOT BUY.

This woman has taken my money. At first she was pleasant, although lying through her teeth. I was naive and believed her until I saw all these reviews. I then asked for a refund because I believe I'm never getting the marshmallows. Now she's ignoring my emails.

The address on her website appears to be false. I wanted to report her to Nottingham Trading Standards.

I ordered that long ago as in months and months that I've pretty much given up hope. Emails sent and ignored.

I should have known better as this is the second time I've fell for this company.

First order I eventually received items after numerous emails and hassle. I'm talking months not days or weeks!

I ordered again as the product really is nice it's such a shame that the customers are treated with such contempt.

I'm £25 down with zero hope of ever hearing from them again.

Just remembered why I ordered, I was having a bbq July 2017 and here we are January 2018 🙈

Ordered for Bonfire night, arrived at Xmas

Ordered for Bonfire night, delivered 22 of December. No response to queries at all. Got an email at the start of December advising order to be delivered. The nougat is far too soft and sugary. Nowhere close to the quality in my previous order. Very disappointed. Can only assume more orders than they can comfortably handle. When its good its well worth it but not sure I'm going to try again.

Terrible and not worth the hassle - avoid

Have used them before - when they where called Sweet Vegan (same company) back in 2013.
They offered a expedited service if you contacted them via the order notes. I placed the order with notes detailing I had a timeframe as they where a wedding gift - still a good three weeks and items shown as in stock. Never got them and had to dispute through Paypal to get money back which was a chore in itself as Carmen simply ignored it for weeks. She did send a sample some time later as a good will gesture - they are very nice, but seriously not worth the hassle.
Thought I would try again this year, again giving plenty of time for the order of 2 weeks (again showing as in stock). Had to contact them earlier this week as no sign of the order being shipped. Was told they would all be sent out 20th by first class - why hold the order for such a long time I don't know, probably too lazy to go to the post office more than once a month. They have left it to the last minute and as expected they haven't arrived today either. Sadly another special present for my vegan sister in law ruined by these clowns.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed used this company in the early days, slick website, great product and received with in 7-10 days, usually ordered as special treat for Christmas or birthdays. Ordered 14 Feb this year during free p&p took nearly 8 weeks to arrive website did state over promotional offers to allow 28 days but I think that was a bit optimistic but now I know I was one of the lucky ones to actually receive my order eventually on this occasion. I ordered again end of May this year still waiting end November, I emailed several times no reply last email asked for either product to sent or a refund heard nothing had to contact credit card for refund it's such a shame because they have a great product pity they don't have the customer service and delivery to go with it. I will not be placing anymore orders.

I so wish I had done some research …

I so wish I had done some research about this so called company before placing an order...alas I did not and so experienced what number of people did, which was appalling customer service, being left in the dark about whether my order would ever arrive and lack of good business sense on the part of the proprietor.
I did receive my order 3 months after placing it and two weeks after being emailed that it has been sent via Royal mail [even though i emailed the owner a few times in regards to my order]. Having read other reviews here on trust pilot there seems to be a distinct pattern of leading customers up the garden path. Not happy at all and makes me question whether the products are truly for vegetarians or is it just a gimmick. The marshmallow in appearance seem good with a decent portion, but having not opened them cant comment about taste.
What a shame.

Terrible customer service - avoid!

I ordered marshmallows from this company over a year ago - the order took ages to arrive but the lady kept in email contact and when they did finally arrive, the sweets were lovely. I am signed up to the email newsletter and got an email a couple of months ago about a new product.

I placed an order in September and am still waiting. I got an email to say they had been posted out but two weeks from the postal date they still hadn’t arrived and I had no tracking details with which to try to chase it. I emailed three times asking about a refund or replacement order and got no response.

I have now contacted trading standards to report the company. I emailed the company direct to inform them about this course of action. I received a response almost immediately stating that there was a “delay getting things through the post office” and that I would receive my order any day now.

I find the company very unprofessional. The products are lovely but it’s not worth the hassle. If the company even responded to emails being truthful about the status of the delivery I wouldn’t mind at all. It’s the lack of response and information that I object to. Very disappointing to have to review like this, but I would urge people to avoid.

Ordered twice

Ordered twice. Both at Christmas times. One year, was told twice product was in post (weeks before Christmas), only to then receive it in January with a postmark of PM on Christmas Eve.

Foolishly, I assumed it was a one-off. Ordered next year much earlier (beginning of November). Same thing happened - was told product was in post, twice. Waited in for days waiting to catch the post. Then received an email in the afternoon of Christmas Eve (too late to buy intended recipient anything else) saying that it would not be sent out. Should have been informed of this much sooner. I was never refunded, nor did I receive the marshmallows.

I would advise NO ONE to buy from this company. I understand problems happen. But whilst the owner is emailing everyone saying there are backlogs and to please wait, they are devising new flavours and uploading them, and sending out emails for further orders! I genuinely think this is a scam.

Ordered Halloween stuff for kids on …

Ordered Halloween stuff for kids on Sept 11th and When I contacted the Marshmallow Deli in October she sd it was because it was a free delivery offer that it's taking time. However, I paid over £35 so the order was free anyway. It's now 30th October and goods still haven't arrived. Going to take this further, it's not on. Not had this experience before with customer service. I am very angry...Paid for goods and, not received.. I have 5,000 vegan friends on FBook who will be interested in what I have to say about this company ....
