These bottom feeders are bullies and think they have the right to do what they want we they try and scare you by saying they can come in the kids bedroom and take what they like and and take what they like at the house even if it is my children or my partners bullies and the funny thing is we only owed £120 to the council tax and they charged us an extra £75 thank for nothing Marstongroup

Just had my debit card blocked as they…

Just had my debit card blocked as they have tried to take money (approx. £770) from my bank account! luckily my bank questioned the transaction so Marsdons must have a history of fraudulent activity!

I have had no dealings with this company and never heard of them until today at all, and on searching see that somehow they have obtained card details (mine is a brand new card only just delivered a couple of weeks ago and out of my possession) being used by them to take money illegally out of people's accounts!!!

WeOn the 12th of December my dad got a demand through the door must have been out at the time but the summons was for me I always give my dads adress even though I haven't lived there for years. On the demand there was a telephone number to get hold of the agent.phoned him up twice no reply then a text from him phone you later.one month later
January 15th still no phone call.so I text him are you going to get in touch he replied phone you later.two hours later got a text not my case anymore no telephone number or name of the other agent.so we had a bit of exchanges texting .with one of his texts ending with crying emoji what sort of agent does that when there's poverty about.as it was my dad was going to pay as I'm on universal credit no assets whatsoever no car no nothing so we have now reported agent cooper to the HMRC's as his standards aren't up to scratch

I don’t know how the councils use Marston Baliffs

I don’t know how the councils are using this company to collect debt because you cannot contact them by phone, email or on their website by order form. The company is a rip off they just want to get bailiffs out to your address. Disgusting service and should be shut down.

Criminals

The word that keeps coming up in these reviews is scum. I'm sorry to say that it is an accurate description. They are chasing me for less than £3 for a toll fee. I thought I had paid and the barrier lifted but the card machine hadn't worked. From the start they added large fees even though it was their clients fault. Ive offered to pay the toll but they are not interested. All appeals and letters are ignored. Their letters always say that I have refused to contact them which is a deliberate lie. What they do is fraud and intimidation. If they were a small company they would be arrested. Good luck to everyone who are fighting these scum. Don't give in !

Knocked on my neighbours to ask questions about me .
The court had the wrong address for me over a speeding fine .
Jumped from £130 -£469 in just 6 weeks.
Not a chance, so jog on and Rob someone else you scumbags

I agree with everyone about the 0 stars. This company keeps sending letters to my address for another scammer I've never even heard of,I've sent them a copy of my council tax bill to prove I'm the only person living at my address and still they are hounding me,it's making me so anxious and depressed,I can see why people want to end it all,these companies need to stop doing this to innocent people before anything bad happens,scammers!.

The wicked only prosper for a season!

they get a star becuse this doesnt allow no stars!. This company is the scum or the earth. These oxygen thieves have caused untold hardship between them and the dart charge thieves, for a charge that has been paid and there appears to be no recourse to address this matter. Some piece of crap named 'Mr' Togan who can't even write properly and I am sure is too stupid to get a proper respectable job else where clamped my son's car. But I pray Marston goes bankrupt and those who work for them and the dart charge suffer for what they have done to people. Life has a way of circling back and I hope they remember their actions when their time comes to be repaid!

My husband received a phonecall at 9pm…

My husband received a phonecall at 9pm on Saturday night by "Mathew" saying we had 24hrs to pay £600 or our car would be clamped. This was the very first phonecall for a supposed unpaid £12 ulez charge. I advised my husband that we should check the call was legit before making any payments.
He called on Monday and we were forced to pay £950 and my husband was repeatedly told that he had gone over the 24hrs we were given. Mathew mate, you called us knowing your office was closed on a Sunday.
My husband has done 14 years in the army, he is a real man unlike you lot. We have never even had a parking fine never mind a bailiff call and I will not be treated like this. I am seeking legal advice over the principle of this situation. Im not being treated like a criminal and we were fortunate enough to be able to pay this, for anyone who cant they will keep increasing the debt and this needs stopping. TFL you should be ashamed using these crooks.

This company are bullies and should be…

This company are bullies and shouldn't be be allowed to carry on. Even 1 star is too good for them. Women turned up today and handed my partner a letter. When I got back home I called the office to discuss and ask why this has gone to enforcement when I had set up a payment plan on the app like I was told to do previously by them. She told that the plan was not complete even though I had given them the payment amounts they apparently didn't have record of this so I said how would I know the payments amounts if it wasn't set up, she then told me there was nothing more they could do and to speak to the enforcement officer, I asked why they couldn't sort anything at the office and the women put the phone down on me! So I called the enforcement officer, explained to her but she said I needed to talk to the office, of which I told her they had said I needed to talk to her, went round and round ended up her saying I have 1 hour to find the money or they will be back to take my things. Totally and utterly disrespectful people that need to be stopped!

Caused my wife to be hospitalised

If I could give less than a star, I would. My wife missed one payment and they didn’t send notification or reminder. The lady came in and ignored my heavily pregnant wife (who has been in and out of hospital for high bp) and said she’s got 1 hour to pay. Said they aren’t obligated to give reminders for missed payment. No prior notification as it said on the letter, and no previous visit. They should be made illegal.

If there was a way to give less than a…

If there was a way to give less than a star I would. How are these people still allowed to operate. I feel there must be a way to stop them we need to find a way to stop them. They are heartless. I am 9 months pregnant with high blood pressure and for 1 missed payments they have come to my property to remove my things. Telling me they are not obligated to send reminders for missed payments. My blood pressure has gone through the roof now. I will be looking for a way to sue them. This is unacceptable and very wicked in time of high cost of living crisis.

Well where do you start .

Well where do you start .. sent a letter for non payment of council Tax .yeah yeah I know pay your bills !!! Anyway after spending nearly 2hrs on the phone I finally got through, where I was happy to set up a repayment plan. But that wasn’t as simple as that! They wanted 75% upfront before they would even entertain a payment plan .
And this is what the council had specifically set out .. well I asked them to send me a copy of that as I would be entitled to a copy. Which then he quickly changed the conversation to something else , I also informed them that there was no way I could afford that . He went away and came back and basically said that I would have to wait until they send me another letter that added another £75 to the debt and escalate it further, before I could enter an affordable payment plan . Surely this is not legal and I will be making a formal complaint to the governing body.

Forced entry into my friends flat and sees the load of goods did not leave any paperwork when you ring the office to find out where he’s good are and get them back. They couldn’t even tell me whether they’re Two because the office doesn’t didn’t even know. mind you, the person that they live for has never lived at this address, so I don’t even know how they got this address it’s just an absolute joke

Cannot believe this company

Cannot believe this company, telephone them answering system that takes you round the uk on a hike, the representative on meeting was only interested in pay pay pay or we will break in , when asked about the information she said you know about it, well in the middle of a car park and being a OAP sorry it’s not top of my mind. Disgusting behaviour from a woman ish ! Caz learn some people skills and focus on the correct attitude towards people who you don’t know and could have a problem. Overall Marstons you are a very poor company that bullies and demands. -1 Star is your level
