what a fast service & the bed is a dream

poor quality, and headboard very low. and 2 pillows cover the headboard.

Bed looks smart, arrived in two boxes with 16 pages of instructions to follow. This took two of us about 3 hours to put together, make sure you set aside plenty of time to build it!! Glad we had a Wowcher deal for it as don't think it is worth the full price but are really pleased with the bed for the price we paid.

It is the 26th working day and I still haven't received my bed. You think you are getting a bargain but it will cost you more in time, hassle and money chasing them up. Every time I called mattress shed (called them 50 times at least in the last 4weeks) I have not spoke to anyone directly. Apparently they recieve a high volume of calls thats the message you hear when you call them and then it rings 5 times and you hear another recorded message. Only way of contacting them is by requesting a ticket of their website and then you have to wait 2 working days for a reply. Every time I asked them about the bed their blamed the delivery company and vice versa. These companies have got themsleves covered with their small print. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase from mattress shed you would be better off paying the extra money and dealing with a establish company. I would rate them 0 out of 5 if I could.

Good communication via email about delivery although I had asked to be phoned 1 hour before delivery as I was at work but that didn't happen. Luckily I was in. The delivery driver was very pleasant but did struggle a bit bringing the bed in. It was marked up as being a two man parcel due to the weight but he was on his own. The bed was definitely worth the money and was easy to put together with the instructions provided.

I ordered this bed using a wowcher code. I was slightly worried after reading some of the reviews after ordering.
However I was pleasantly surprised when only 48 hours after placing the order the bed arrived at my door. I was able to track my order online and had received an email from the courier company to give me a time slot as well.
The bed was packaged really well to prevent any damage and was simple to assemble. The bed frame is very sturdy and there is loads of storage space in the drawers underneath. I was unable to contact matress shed via telephone as it was always busy but I opened a ticket with a query and it was answered in less than 24 hours.

Loads of extra storage now we have it - easy to assemble and comes at a fantastic price

They Bed is absolutely delightful! Not only was I very impressed with the fact that, a lot of purchases online don't resemble what you have delivered to you but, on this occasion..it looked every bit like the picture on the website!
I was most impressed with the instruction booklet, which was clear and concise! Unlike some furniture companies, they had the individual screws and bolts all labeled for that specific task..each set clearly laid out in the order of assembly. This made putting the bed together an absolute dream! Each component , you could clearly see were made to a high standard! I would, without a shadow of a doubt, definitely purchase from Mattress Shed again!!! I would Highly recommend them to anyone... :-)

Quick easy order, brilliant comuncation, fast delivery, excellent service

Had 4 issues. Problem with the delivery charge had to pay twice and wait for a refund leaving me out of pocket!
Problem with the delivery only one of two boxes turned up delivery company and yours blaming each other!
When the full bed finally arrived there were the wrong pieces inside the box!
Trying to contact your company difficult and irritating. No link to click on live chat also phone never answered!
Over 2 months since I have paid for my bed I have no bed and issue still not resolved. Asked for a refund and no one would answer me. Worst company ever I will always advice people to steer clear of your company in the future!

The bed I ordered was of good quality, appears to be solidly made. However there were problems with ordering resulting in a very late delivery, well over then10 days I was expecting. Having said that once the situation was resolved the bed arrived in good time. There was also a problem with the hydraulic hinges, but replacements were sent within a few days. Communication was difficult at times, especially when it would be easier to telephone, instead one needs to fill in a "ticket", although a bit more finicky, it does seem to illicit a response fairly quickly. A few teething problems, not enough to put me off completely. That said I was not happy with the replacement hinges being shoved under my back gate, though that is the delivery drivers fault.

Purchased this bed via wowcher. A delivery charge was included in the wowcher cost but then had to pay for delivery again with mattress shed. I did this over the phone to ensure delivery. Wowcher then contacted me to say that a mistake was made and to expect a refund of delivery charge which did not happen. When I contacted wowcher, they said that I have to get a refund from the supplier (even though wowcher said they would be making the refund). This confused me a bit as I thought that the mistake was made by wowcher!! I am still confused and waiting to hear from them before I speak to Mattress Shed. So as a first timer, I have been a little put off with trying this way of purchasing again.
With regard to the goods, the bed is really nice and has a good storage base. The delivery men came across as quite rude and impatient. So not a very good customer service from them.

Still not received our mattress! It was ordered on the 25th July same time as bed frame which arrived over 2 weeks ago. Left 'ticket' to check whereabouts but still waiting for a response. Slightly concerned I've been asked to leave a review when our order is 'still processing'

I love my new bed -the frame is lovely and was ok to put together!

The delivery i was not happy with! The delivery company left the bed with my neighbour, which meant i had to go and get it but because it was too heavy for me, my neighbour had to bring it down for me (and he wasn't a direct neighbour - he was a few doors away). I have tried contacting the company to find out why they would do that and surprise surprise, no answer!
