They doubled my insurance. Had 1 claim 30 yrs ago. So broker apparently cancelled. I never signed to renew but they still took payment of new double price. I’m not sure how I never authorized. I shopped around and got way cheaper from any other company. DO NOT USE MAX INSURANCE!!

The second adjuster handles everything well and efficiently. It was a bit unfortunate about it all happening during the holidays so the first adjuster disappeared for weeks sometimes. But when the second adjuster came everything went smoothly and without too much hassle.

Instead of helping me you cancel my service that's not what you do to your customer service. It took serval and for me to get the right help at the end of the term I lost money which was not refunded to me

Our experience with this company was deeply concerning and unnecessarily stressful.
After discovering previously undisclosed damage from the sellers of our home, we acted in good faith by immediately notifying our insurer and beginning repairs. While those repairs were underway, we received written notice that our coverage would be terminated in 6-weeks as they hadnt received proof of repairs complete. Our agent assured as coverage would be renewed if we completed specific items that were in writing, in time.
We worked diligently to meet the stated requirements and submitted receipts and photographic proof confirming completion within the deadline provided.
Rather than acknowledging that the written conditions had been satisfied, new concerns were introduced regarding minor foundation hairline cracks - issues that were never included in the original written notice and had not previously been raised. No revised written notice outlining additional requirements was provided.
Changing the basis of non-renewal after a homeowner has complied in good faith with the stated requirements reflects a lack of consistency and transparency in the process. The handling of this situation created significant and avoidable distress during a time-sensitive home transition.
Homeowners deserve clear expectations and adherence to the written standards provided to them. That did not occur in our case.
