Beautifully constructed and development ongoing. Facilities and service range outstanding. The care shown by Kirsty when organising, during and after the visit to view the village is excellent.

I was very impressed with the buildings and facilities, comparable to a 5 star hotel.
I had an interesting tour and Kirsty was an excellent guide.
I feel that in my case, since I have a cat, I would need a ground floor apartment, however, I am not needing to move immediately and will still consider an apartment at Millfield.

A fantastic project for a low cost of modern living for people over 55 years old. The accommodation enhances securities, friendships thus free from loneliness, low maintainers and with facilities available under one roof.
I think this is the way forward for modern living for everybody especially for the elderly

The salesperson, Kirsty was welcoming, easy, professional and not pushy and she gave me a full insight into the village which I loved!

Having received a postal invite from Mayfield Villages at Watford I decided to follow it up and made an appointment to visit the show flat.
I spent about an hour and a half being taken through the various areas such as the restaurant, swimming pool and flats. Claire my guide was excellent and answered all my questions over a Capaccino! The standard of accommodation was of a high standard and I was very impressed with the availability of back-up staff should they be needed by residents.
I think the concept of providing quality accommodation for older folk is great although I would personally miss the sound and interaction of younger people.
The immediate wider area surrounding the Village is undergoing considerable development and I guess will take some time to finish.
The information leaflets were very informative but I have a few more questions to ask. I also intend to make another visit shortly with one of my daughters.
Given my situation it is perhaps too early to think about a move to the Village might at some point be a real possibility.
Well done Mayfield!

The review of the development at Watford was very impressive. The whole concept is excellent, and to a very high standard, and built in a very attractive location, overlooking parkland and the River Colne. Unfortunately the two bedroom apartments were just too small for my wife and I, but I would certainly recommend interested parties to view, particularly as the units are very reasonably priced and will sell quickly.

Oliver was very knowledgeable and extremely polite he could answer all of my queries. He wasn’t pushy and very understanding

Good apartment, good facilities and environment. If you unravel the annual fees, it works out about 12K per year, not sure if that is normal as I have nothing to compare it with.

We were taken around by an very pleasant agent. Altogether a good experience.

Nice place but apartments a bit too small for me. Better hair dryers required at the pool. Need temperature & speed settings separately.
