Brilliant service and communication throughout!

Went through M&C after they provided the best price on a comparison website. They sent the pack out next day and got prompt updates that they have received my phones and all testing complete..
17 days later and still no payment. Apparently everything is with their payment team and will be in my account in 24 hours. This is the sixth time they have told me that. Avoid unless you enjoy wasting your time trying to get hold of monies owed to you. Will go to the police shortly to report theft if not addressed.

They claim to make same day payment but I got paid after 8 days. Had to ring them three times and they kept telling me they had sent my order to their payment department which I couldn't get to. Also the phone is busy nearly all the time or when it goes through, there is a chance your call won't be answered.

Fast Service. Excellent communications relating to receipt of phone & quality check etc. Paid amount quoted in full.
Payment not same day - arrived over a week after advertised.

Guys if your having trouble like I did not getting paid please go thru Google and go to compare & recycle live chat they help me today and I finally got my money. I hope this all helps you .I was lost on what to do well worth a try and it paid off.. I'm never using mc recycle again 1st and it be the last

I didn’t check the reviews first , I wish I could have . I have sent my iPhone 7plus which was like brand new , they have received my phone and asked for PIN number and since then they are not replying my email. Can someone help me how can I report and get money or my original phone back. I am really upset

Sent my Samsung phone mid December after receiving a reduced offer. It is now February and I still havent had the funds sent to my bank account.
Sent numberous emails but no communication back.

I wouldnt recommend sending your phone to MC Recycle. Looking for some suggestions what I can do next....

They offered me 140 for the phone. I sent it fully boxed and in good condition. They received it and then told me they would only pay 110, or I have to pay to have it sent back to me.
Criminal!

Lack of good customer service . Had to go back to comparison site to get payment. Don’t answer phone or emails or contact page

Compared to other companies, M&c gave the best price, received my prepaid label and paid royalmail for pick up as a peace of mind. The phone was received and within a few days payment was given. Recommended will use again thanks very much

Placed the order 23rd November, I read the other reviews and expected the phone price to be knocked down which was fine, quoted £120 for my Huawei P20 Pro, accepted the knocked down price of £80 on the 10th December. I was still awaiting payment after sending two emails. They promised payment would be in my account the same day but it's now three weeks later. Maybe they are closed during lockdown but some clarity would be nice?
Update: they paid finally 26th Jan.

Got an email on 5th January to say my phone had passed their testing and my money would arrive shortly. I've since emailed them a couple of times and had no reply and no money.
Just received my payment Thanks.

Trading standards contacted ?
Report the phone as stolen and get the imei registered as stolen ?

Avoid at all costs.
Had my phone over a week without any information. Dropped the original quote by £25 for no reason that they could tell me. Money is still not in my account 4 days later. Scam artists and I will be talking to trading standards.

If I could give 0 stars, I would! Absolute disgrace of a company that quotes you £45 for a 6 year old device (obviously used) and then when they receive the device tell you that the new price is £30 due to it having dents on the frame, and wear and tear. Wear and tear ok, its an old device, but the phone had always been in a case and I took photos that show no damage at all on the device before posting it to MC Recycle.

Tried contacting MC Recycle using their pathetic excuse of a contact form, which once filled out just lead to a blank white page.

I then contacted the compare site; Compare and Recycle and spoke to an agent who actually managed to get in touch with MC Recycle who then told me that the reason for devaluation was because of scratches on the screen!

So with 2 completely different lies within a day or 2 of each other, I made sure the agent at the compare site could make sure the payment was made to my account for the new price seeing as other people have had trouble with receiving payments from this sh*tshow of a company.

Would definitely avoid as they just scam you by quoting 1 price, and then once they've received your device give you another and claim your device is damaged. As for any contact, completely useless and would have more chance of getting a response from a spoon.

Complete disgrace and don't bother wasting your time and effort with nothing but a bunch of scammers.

Got an Email saying Parcel was received 8th December 20, but since then nothing. Not responding to emails and obviously no money has been received!!! Steer Clear!

They bait you in by offering a slightly higher price and then knock it down to almost the lowest google shows! Good to see other people catching onto their dirty tacts and report it on here!!!

My phone was literally brand new!! Yet they made up lies!! I bet you if someone sends them a phone straight out of the box, unused, they’ll still make up lies!!!

The sales model of this company is to offer a higher price than the competitors and then knock down the value once it's arrived for spurious and untruthful reasons by a significant amount. The phone I sent to them yesterday was in immaculate condition and was without a blemish. Yet I received a reduction in the value which referenced "deep scratches" - lies and tosh. The difference in valuation was 40 quid so....as I'm sure nearly everyone does which is part of the calculation....I accepted it. But it's a shameless rip off. AVOID!
