Don't trust their expected delivery dates!
I ordered a refrigerator online with expected delivery date by Saturday. However, on Friday they told it could only be delivered on Monday morning. I called both MediaMarkt and DSV to get the date changed to Saturday but both blamed the other.
So I had to take a day off work to be home for the delivery. When the delivery came, the delivery man was very unhelpful and somewhat rude.

The online webpage and its customer services, in German term, schrieklich! I bought 2 products and they were from marketplace sellers. They were of very poor quality and I wanted to return them. Not in the mobile app, nor on webpage, there is no return/ask refund button or page, and when I contacted medimarkt's customer services, they told me to contact the seller directly. If you are not going to provide customer services in such matters and lead us directly to the seller and mandate us to deal with it on our own, why do you sell these products on your webpage!!! I bought them trusting your name, Medimarkt, but I guess I was wrong and you are never going to be an online market leader to compete with other online dealers. Never gonna buy anything online again from Mediamarkt. Shame.

I bought a fridge which arrived damaged. Instead of offering to exchange it, Mediamarkt wanted me to separately arrange a collection of the old fridge and place a new order for the new fridge. And then wait however long for the old fridge to be refunded. This was an expensive new fridge with a manufacturing defect. Not everyone has an extra 1k in their bank accounts to pay for a new fridge for two weeks or however long it would take. I have never done business with a company without an exchange program for new goods (the issue was reported within two days) and will never again. Customer service appeared not to understand the problem.

Ordered a smartphone through the Mediamarkt Marketplace from a seller called "Tease Solutions". The seller never shipped the item, never responded to messages, and didn’t even send an invoice.
I contacted Mediamarkt support multiple times over the course of a week — no reply at all. Just silence. They advertise this as their marketplace, but the moment something goes wrong, they completely disappear and refuse all responsibility.
Now I have to go through the consumer protection office and possibly file a police report. I honestly didn’t expect this level of negligence from a big brand like Mediamarkt.
If you order through their marketplace, be prepared to be left alone when things go wrong.

I knew it wasn't great, but holy shit – this is next-level bad. From customer service to order management, everything is just a mess. Slow communication, vague or no responses at all, and if something goes wrong (which it likely will), get ready to waste your time and patience.
Avoid this place like the plague. There are far better and more professional stores out there that actually value their customers.
EDIT: You should try answer first on my 20 emails what I sent, fast like you answer here.. Ffs

Terrible experience. I have bought an Evapolar cooling box, and it doesn't work properly. I bought it via Mediamarkt MARKETPLACE, and now I cannot return the item as neither Evapolar (who is supposed to be the one responsible for accepting returns based on Marketplace rules) or Mediamarkt is accepting returns, as they have been ping ponging me saying the other is responsible for accepting returns. The customer service is not there, not helpful. AVOID at all costs.

I bought a refurbished laptop from MEDIAMARKT.DE. As soon as i receive, there is a problem with charging. Just because i have been travelling, i am going to send after 2 months from buying date. Today i noticed also additionaly, there is small break at the corner of the screen. I am more furious now! I could not use the laptop properly because of charging problem, that‘s why i could not notice the break! I am going to send after 2 months from buying date. They say me that they could charge for repair. Money goes to garbage!!!

They don't hesitate to take your money for a pre-order, but then they are not able to fulfill what they promised. Every other store delivered the Nintendo switch 2. I made the huge mistake of preordering. Never again
Update: it is always funny when they ask me to write them, I came here BECAUSE I already wrote them and gave me no solution, just to wait, couldn't confirm a date or anything.

Absolute trash customer service and service overall.
I had a preorder for Switch 2, that I made 2 month ago. Let them just have my cash with no interest, because they promised premium delivery etc.
In fact what I get is rude, uneducated customer service workers, that don't tell me anything about my order 1! One! day before it's delivery. They don't even tell me if they have one and then close the chat before i could reply! Also refuse to even use a translation app, or speak English.
This is quite insane. What did I pay for here? Your service is literally worse than any other hole-in-the-wall shop. Not being able to tell your customer if you have an item you're supposed to deliver or not TOMORROW is criminal!
You absolutely owe me this information, especially if i paid you for priority delivery.
Update: So these scammers finally admitted that they are not delivering it today. But I have plenty of LEGALLY BINDING proof of them claiming that it has to happen today. They don't even offer you any compensation for doing this SCAM.

Overpriced by far / Viel zu teuer
English: I wanted to buy a USB-C hub for my MacBook Pro because when I'm at home, I use it as a desktop with an external keyboard, mouse, and monitor. But the price was anything but normal—80 to 100€, while on eBay I found similar hardware for 20 to 30€. I understand that they can't be as cheap as their online competitors, but this is just overpriced.
EDIT: Media Markt Germany responded to my original 2 out of 5 Stars in a very nice and understanding way, they gave me an E-Mail address where i should communicate my problem further, nice. For this solution im upgrading to 3 out of 5 Stars
DE: Ich wollte einen USB-C-Hub für mein MacBook Pro kaufen, da ich es zu Hause als Desktop nutze – mit externer Tastatur, Maus und Monitor. Aber der Preis war alles andere als normal: 80 bis 100 €, während ich auf eBay ähnliche Hardware für 20 bis 30 € gefunden habe. Ich verstehe, dass sie nicht so günstig sein können wie ihre Online-Konkurrenten, aber das ist einfach überteuert.
EDIT: Media Markt hat auf meine alte 2/5 Sterne Bewertung reagiert und schlug vor, das ich eine direkte E-Mail senden soll, welche ich hier aus Respekt dem Support gegenüber nicht posten werde, aber deswegen gibt es eine 3/5 für den netten Support.
