I am sorry but I don’t recommend Media Market in Germany. They think their customers are stupid and they use deceptive pricing strategies by showing inflated 'before' prices to make their discounts seem bigger than they actually are. I will buy from a different place in the future. I made a small mistake when ordering. I typed the wrong ZIP code. My bad, right? But I realized it 40 minutes later and immediately called them to fix my address. The woman on the phone told me that she can correct the address. Then, I get an email saying, "Oh no, it's against the law to change an address"?! Then they tell me to contact DHL, but they didn’t even give me a tracking number because the order hadn’t even shipped yet! How the hell am I supposed to fix something with DHL if they don’t even have my package?! At this point, I told them to just cancel the damn order and guess what? They refuse. They tell me I need to receive it first and THEN return it. HOW?! How the hell am I supposed to receive the order if it’s going to the wrong address?! The person at the wrong address could simply take my order and keep it! Am I supposed to break into someone’s house and steal my own package back?! Then after all this nonsense and multiple emails, I get an email confirming that my order is finally cancelled. Great, right? Wrong. 30 minutes later, they send me ANOTHER email saying my order is on its way (to the wrong address). I spoke to like 8 different employees, and every single one of them gave me a different answer and some employees replied to me with the same automated email reply that I got from a different employee earlier!? Absolute circus. Finally, I managed to get the address corrected through DHL.
At least the delivery was fast. I got my order the next day. But it wasn’t worth the insane amount of frustration and headache. Never again.

I am absolutely appalled by the atrocious and deceptive customer service I have experienced with MediaMarkt/Saturn. After purchasing the SONY WH-1000XM4 headphones and facing an issue where they suddenly stopped charging, I submitted them for repair under warranty. However, after weeks of waiting, I was informed via email that the issue was not covered by warranty and that I would be required to pay an outrageous 110 Euros for a simple circuit repair. To add insult to injury, I am also being charged an additional 40 Euros just for "transportation and inspection costs" if I decide not to go through with the repair.
This is nothing short of a scam! These hidden charges should have been disclosed to me up front, not sprung on me after weeks of waiting. To withhold my property unless I pay these extortionate fees is unacceptable and highly unethical. The fact that you are now holding my headphones, which are worth 249.99 Euros, hostage unless I pay an inflated sum, speaks volumes about the predatory practices you are engaging in.
I strongly condemn the fraudulent and manipulative tactics you are using under the guise of "customer service." This is a blatant attempt to extract money from customers who trust your company. I expect an immediate resolution to this matter, or I will take further action to ensure my rights as a consumer are respected.

Totally disgusted with repairs service. My husbands phone was submitted for a simple basic charger port replacement on 20th Jan 2025. 8 weeks later today 21.march 2025 they finally contact us and sent repair report for totally un necessary repairs on batteries, screen, seals. I said no just port and nothing else. They said we only do full service repairs on everything we don't do just the required repairs. They want €151 for a €45 repair on a €130 phone. I said return the phone unrepaired. I will take to by train to next city and get it done in 48 hours for €45.have it back at the store on Monday. They said can't do that it will take weeks to return it is in Slovakia. Why is it in Slovakia for goodness sake. So now a 48hr basic repair is taking 8 weeks+ 2-4 weeks to return + 48hours.absolutely disgraceful service. Why was it not sent to a German repairer in Germany.

After a plesant shopping expierence at the Baden baden branch we ordered a Freezer. 0n 29-02-25 and paid extra an extravigant amount to have it delivered and installed quickly >€100.
To date we have not recieved the Freezer nor any information of when it will be delivered.
The after sales service is none existant no tel and the certral number could only give us an email adress.
This must be one of the worst services I have had whiuch is saying something in Germany !!.
There is no possible tel no for coplaints they probably have so many!!!
I would not buy anything from them in future

Please stay away from this Company,
I purchased Sony 1000xm5, after 5 months of usage, it got damaged.
Today, I tried to replace it (as they promised, it has tow years warranty, and if gets damaged, they will replace it), they refuse to do so, and simply the customer service told me that " he doesn't have time for me"

The worst and most rude service experience I have ever had.
We ordered a highly expensive washing machine online and paid for additional services, including installation and removal of the old device. First, although the delivery window was set between February 14 and 18, they delivered the product on the 20th, despite being informed of our urgency.
Secondly, and most importantly, two service persons came with the product. One of them continuously complained about everything, including having to bring the machine to the third floor—apparently, you can only order a machine if you live on the first floor to make them happy.
Then, they uninstalled the old machine but told us they could not install the new one because the connectors of the hose and the tap did not match, and it was not their problem. They didn’t specify what piece was needed. We later hired another person who discovered that the missing piece was actually in the machine they uninstalled. They removed the piece and did not bother to check that.
Finally, they also did not take the old machine downstairs, although we paid for this service because it had water in it. They claimed it was too heavy and they didn’t have time to drain it. We asked them to explain how to drain it so we could do it ourselves while they were there, but they did not even have time to explain this—which we later found out was a simple process. The handyman we hired later drained all the water in just 2-3 minutes. Now, the old machine waits in front of the house until they have time to come back and take it away.
I will never use Mediamarket for appliances that require installation again. This was the worst and most rude service I have ever received. They did not do what they were paid for and on top of that, they stormed into our house with an awful attitude.
