Amazing experience!

Amazing experience from start to finish! Based on feedback I’d heard from friends, I was dreading the whole signing up for Medicare process, however from my first call with Gio I felt confident that we were in great hands and he made the whole process so much easier!

Takes too long

Takes too long. I had consulted with my pharmacist and knew which plan I wanted, yet I still had to submit my prescriptions to assure I was getting the best deal (I was). The info I had to listen to was very repetitive, giving the exact same info multiple times. This process should not take 30 minutes to complete.

Does anyone care about customers anymore?

I received an explanation of benefits saying that the maximum a provider could bill me directly was $0.00; and yet the provider was billing me for these two items anyway. I talked to 3 separate "customer service agents" who tried to tell me that the EOB I had downloaded from Medicare's own website must have been a web error. It turns out, they weren't looking at the same information I was - they were reading from a different column. I never did get help from 3 incredibly bored-sounding wastes of flesh. I think we do need a single payer health system in america, but the worthless dunces staffing Medicare have to go.

The best customer service representative ever

I had the great pleasure of speaking with Souan Thannao. Not only did she take care of the necessary business in an expeditious and professional manner, but she also did so in a way that made the whole experience a joy. I have never dealt with anyone with such an incredible phone presence: she radiates enthusiasm, positive emotion, kindness, and care. Nor have I ever met anyone who understands so well how to address another as a real individual person and make a genuine connection. Even though we shall probably never speak again, I feel as though she broke through the isolation and loneliness of this never-ending pandemic in an authentic human encounter, and it was a blessed relief.

Medicare Sign-up Experience

It is confusing and overwhelming when so many companies are sending info on supplemental plans, with that said, all of the info I received from Medicare was clear and concise. I did sign up 2 months prior to my eligibility and it got down to the wire before my application was fully processed and approved. I did reach out to my local SS office, and they were great, and facilitated the processing of my application.

I worked with a consultant who walked me through the process and was able to confirm what I had already understood about A, B, Medicare Advantage and the Supplemental Plans. When signing up, she was also very helpful and supportive answering all of my questions.

Once signed up and approved, the information on the plans, my cards, etc came quickly.

The only thing that was frustrating was the increase in the part B and the part D premiums. I knew I would have to pay more for part B, but part D was a surprise. When I reached out to the phone number on the letter, I was put on hold for about 40 minutes without knowing how long I would be in the queue, or having the opportunity to be called back. Once the agent picked up my call, she was great! She was very informative and sent me the info I needed while I was still on the line.
