Absolutely gorgeous meal. We had the jackfruit and it was so well flavoured. Easy to follow instructions, and to die for churros to finish off!!!

Great alternative to a takeaway, especially if you love authentic Mexican food. We love Mexi-Kit, we often order the platters with churros to finish and a jurrito to wash it down. Love the sauces & sides that come with it, our favourite it’s definitely the beef taco but enjoy them all.

I had a bit of a mix up with ordering last minute for a party and thought I’d have to rethink my party food but Mexi-kit pulled through and managed to get it to me. Super impressed. Food tastes great, easy to make. My only criticism was that myself and the rest of the party weren’t keen on the corn tortillas but this is no fault to the mexi-kit team just our personal taste.

Fantastic food for Mexican food lovers out there, easy to make and tasted brilliant. No matter how bad a chef you are there’s no way you can go wrong making this, instructions are easy to follow. Portion sizes were spot on, even with some left over! Compliments to the chef, will definitely order again.

I ordered this for delivery as an alternative to a takeaway. I ordered the chicken tinga tacos and the beef birra tacos . The beef birra was really good, however I found that there wasn’t really any gravy so couldn’t dip my taco into it (which is one of the best bits) If you’re supposed to do something to mean that there is its not clear on the instructions! The flavour was great though and very tasty. The chicken was ok, but I much preferred the beef. From personal preference I wasn’t a fan of the tortillas, they have a certain flavour/ smell which I wasn’t keen on, maybe as I have never been to Mexico. Could have done with labels on the products and dips but overall pretty good and a nice alternative to a takeaway.

I will forever give a 5* review. If you haven't tried them yet 100% give them a go. It costs no more than you'd spend on a takeaway or to eat out (costs less in our case) and you can eat in the comfort of your own home! Food tastes amazing, customer service is amazing. Truly a great company with great food.

The chicken was gorgeous and really easy to make.
They did miss part of my order and rectified it quickly and easily.
However tiny portion of cheese, but I always have spare.

Absolutely unreal!
Ordered the birria kit for 2 and was a substantial amount of food and it all tasted unbelievable. Delivery was spot on and think it would be a great way to entertain friends, if you get it make sure you get the salsa options as well cause I can’t even put into words how nice that salsa verde is, could drink it.
If I could give any constructive criticism I would just say to add some more onion and coriander as we ran out
Can’t wait to order more!

Absolutely delighted with our Mexi kit. It doesn’t look like much when you receive it, but once it’s plated up, it’s a feast for the senses! We look forward to ordering more and impressing our friends too! 🌮 🥑 🇲🇽 la comida mexicana muy buena!

I tried Mexi-kit with a couple of friends a few weeks ago and was blown away by the flavours - we particularly loved the pork carnitas. I then ordered a feast for the last day of my holiday for 8 people and everyone loved it. We got chicken, pork and beef and they all had great flavours with plenty of beef leftover after. The tacos are authentic and for me the biggest treat biggest you can't get corn tacos like that in the supermarkets.

The beef birria tacos were a bit of a mission in the pan to get right but if you have a really good non stick pan you'd be fine - we ended up using the beef just like the normal tacos and they still tasted great.

I will order again.

Great food and great overall experience. Very easy to do and lots of great options. Recommend for big parties/groups for sure.

My order got delivered a day later than I had ordered it for, but it was very well packaged. Although the preparation of the meal was easy with relatively clear instructions, the food itself was quite unpleasant (I ordered the Birria Beef Quesadilla with the Salsa bundle).

Personally I found the flavour of the Tortillas to be very off putting, and I ended up leaving the rest of my meal untouched because of this

Quite disappointed by the overall experience as I was hoping to try multiple menu items, but it’s put me off doing so

Excellent authentic Mexican birria tacos, tastes amazing, portion sizes are great, all corn tortillas (proper ones!!) and great dip selection. Super convenient. Will return. A lot.

We were so looking forward to this and genuinely wanted and expected to give a good review but it just wasn't that enjoyable.
We found the tortillas rubbery and they fell a part in the pan and I'm also not sure how far they expect the tiny pot of cheese to go. On a positive note the beef birra its self was lovely and tender, and the salsas delicious but overall it was not enough to save it, very disappointing.

My husband and I love Mexican food but have to drive half an hour to get a decent one so we were excited to try this. We both agree the flavour of the food is beautiful and we will definitely be ordering from them again. The main reason for giving 4 and not 5 stars is because, for the price we paid, I would expect a bit more meat. Also, it would be nice if everything came with labels as we had to taste test everything first and guess but that's a minor inconvenience.

Definitely a few start up teething problems - charged £5.95 for delivery when it was advertised for free. When queried I was told it’s because my £123 order had to be sent in two boxes! I did query this and was told as I didn’t need the cutlery and plates that I could get extra tortillas but this was pitched as an offset for the additional delivery charge, which didn’t really justify it imo. Don’t advertise free delivery for large orders if it isn’t free.

Secondly on the day of delivery a few things from the order weren’t available. They notified me and refunded £10 which is fair enough but the whole point of this order was for convenience - instead I had to run out on Saturday morning when I was already spinning plates to buy them which defeats the object.

That aside, the food quality is great although the meat portion is on the lean side for the price point. Which is a shame because I probably would’ve ordered it again.

The food was tasty, but we were missing the cheese for the nachos.
In addition, no products were labelled so it was a bit of a guessing game on dips etc.

We live in a small village with no takeaways or just eat etc.

This was a breath of fresh air!! We ordered a taco platter it took 5mins to throw together and it was just like having a takeaway with all the trimmings at to be fair a fraction of the cost.

Would highly recommend and will be a returning customer. ARRIBA

What a wonderful treat! Thank you for bringing a bit of Mexico to the Uk. My birria taco’s were great except the tortillas broke apart and stuck to the pan so plan B happened and I made burritos!
