The food box arrived on time and was well packaged.
Who ever packs the boxes does a tidy job of it.
The food is fresh so it's gotta be eaten the day of delivery or the next day at the latest.
It's a bit like a disassembled takeaway.
The printed instructions with pics were easy to follow.
It took no more than 10mins tops to have ingredients reheated and the tacos etc assembled on our plates.
We chose the Chicken and Pork, Potatoes, Coleslaw, Salsas, Guacamole etc. There's so much to choose from when ordering, so just pick what u fancy.

The food looked great, but the flavours were AMAZING!

Well that's what u get from mexi kit food.

We received a wee surprise of some Mexi lollies with our order.
My daughter hates pineapple but weirdly the pineapple lolly was her favourite.

U don't have to spend a lot but we spent £60 to get the free delivery...that may seem expensive to some but we got two decent meals each for the two of us out of that...so 4 meals altogether.
My initial thought was there wasnt much, but once all assembled its ample. I'm a big eater and I wasn't left wanting.
We're hard pushed to get a decent takeaway here for under £30 these days, factor in delivery etc and it's more like £40 for the two of us. So £60 for this wasn't actually too bad.

I've seen ppl mention the Mexi Kit as being a bit expensive. The thing is ur not just paying for the food.
Ur paying for the outer packaging, the inner packaging to keep it chilled, the instruction sheets being printed, the food ingredients, the cost of the tubs etc the food goes into and then the delivery costs of getting it to u.
There's also the cost of the ppl/persons time that they spent ordering, shopping, cooking and the packing it all up etc

Trust me when uv tasted the food ul realise what a wee bargain this food box actually is. There looks to be a points incentive to get a bit off future orders, refer a friend and subscriptions if ur looking to save a couple of quid or so..I've not really looked into that so pls don't quote me on it.

The only thing I would change is the refried beans...Its a prepacked type and I wasn't keen on the texture or taste. Home made are so much better. But of course this is down to personal taste.

Oh and I just wanna add that Mexi-kit has a 5 star hygeine rating...that should be applauded as ppl would be surprised at how many of these food box delivery companies don't have a 5 rating.

Really nice, not cheap but get loads of meat & can easily get more tortillas to make it last longer, would reccomend

It’s always the little gestures that elevates an experience for me. As great as the food was, it was the authentic Mexican lollies. My son took great joy in my contorted face when I tried the sour lolly. The lolly reminded me of a Mexican work colleague who brought me a few lollies years back. He loved the raspberry and strawberry one. Will definitely be ordering a box again.

Awesome addition to the restaurant box at home options, food is so fresh and tasty, special mention to the pork which I warmed in the air fryer….blissful!!

Ordered for the first time, super simple ordering system, with an easy to use website.
Unfortunately, Yodel lost the delivery.
Customer service team were STRAIGHT on it, and resent my order for the next delivery day, and gave me a gift voucher as a bonus.
Unbelievably, Yodel lost it AGAIN!
Messaged the team again, and received instant replies, even though it was late at night.
The incredible team then hand delivered my order, including a few extra treats, and kept me updated the entire time.
Food was great, and really fresh, but their customer service is unmatched.
I’ll definitely be ordering again, I highly recommend.

I ordered the taco platter and I can say it didn’t disappoint. There was plenty of food for me and my friends and it tasted INSANE! I loved how you got the nachos, salsas and churros too which made me feel like I was getting value for money. Super easy instructions and didn’t take long to make, I will definitely be ordering again, perfect when my friends came over as we wanted nice food but didn’t want to go out for a meal!

Hey, it was the first time buying and half the stuff I ordered never arrived I was highly disappointed with this, I did get given a small refund for the items missing but was still disappointed as wanted to try everything together and couldn't as was missing half my order. Not only that but you had to eat everything within a day or two as it all goes off very fast.

Food was tasty but a bit pricy for the portion size. As an American I missed real tacos and these are An amazing treat but not budget friendly to be consumed as often as I’d like! Customer service was excellent though, yodel lost my package and they resent a new one without question

Food was very tasty however quantity was severely lacking. Order the kit for two with extra beef and we were both surprised how little we got got nearly £40. Honestly, cheaper to go to a restaurant and pay for 8 tacos! Without minute sides. Such a shame because the flavours are good, but I won’t be ordering again as the price is poor

We had the chicken tinga and beef birra as an extra. Was excellent and exceeded expectations. Brilliant flavours

We ordered the family style kit so we could try everything and it was amazing. So easy to cook and everything is pre-made for you. Perfect for fast and delicious meals! The beef birria was by far my favourite. Great selection of dipping sauces also. Can’t wait to have these again

The Fiesta for 2 was perfect for a surprise date night! Quick delivery, everything was packaged nicely and the food was to die for.

The tacos are INSANE! 💯 Unbelievably tasty & super high quality! Still thinking of that pork, soooo juicy & flavoursome! 🤤

I ordered this for my friend as a belated birthday gift. Just after I ordered I received a lovely email confirming delivery. My friend said she absolutely loved the food and there was plenty of it. She especially loved the pineapple habanero sauce. She highly recommended it so I shall be purchasing for myself next. Over all a fantastic service from start to finish.

Really amazing food. I am a huge fan of Mexican food and really struggle to find anything decent but this solved it. I like that guidance was given on how to construct the tacos, but I also tried different combos. My fave ended up being the beef birria with all the toppings and then Salsa Verde & Chipotle Morita (incredible salsa). One addition I would like to see is some of the sides (slaw,beans etc) included as optional extras for the kits so that everything is ordered in one click.

Ordered the fiesta for 2. Was a little confused what I’d actually get but the Birra beef is amazing!! Easily fed both of us. Would order again!
