The whole process of cataract/lens replacement was incredibly simple. My surgeon, Mr Barua was excellent. He is a refractive surgeon, so deals with some of the more complex cases where problems could occur. He is calm, considered and does his absolute utmost to get the best outcome, calculating and recalculating to select the correct lenses. During surgery we spoke and he told me what he was doing (my choice to ask questions). The procedure is quick, painless and I can now see extremely well. My result was even better than he had hoped. The Optometrists I saw were excellent and professional as was Mr Barua’s Secretary, Kate. Can highly recommend him and his team.

Very smooth process from first consultation through to surgery. Everyone was very professional and care was exceptional. Would highly recommend.

Had my left eye done what an amazing difference colours are bright , distance vision is great, Dr Ting and the team on the day made me feel comfortable and explained procedure in detail and aftercare was good . Waiting for my right eye to done early new year .

Over the last few years I have received treatment for for two Cataracts which were everything that I could wish for. Recently I was referred by the Optometrist for NHS Laser Treatment. This was at a convenient location , on time and very pleasantly and efficiently performed. Absolutely no complaints.

I have been going to Midland Eye Clinic for several years to have eye injections. The staff are superb - friendly, approachable, reassuring and professional. Mr Umeed always explains things well and everyone is sympathetic to my concerns and anxieties. I would not hesitate to recommend the clinic to anyone.

The preliminary, simple eye test was carried out carefully and professionally. The laser treatment procedure was quick, but carried out with consideration.

Well before l decided to have cataracts done l was very long sighted, +8 lenses. What a difference since having my eyes done now. The best thing I've ever done all thanks to Midland Eye .

From point of entering to point of leaving I was treated with respect and courtesy. Every part of procedure was explained and reassurances given . Cannot recommend enough.

What a really Company! My mum had her cataract removed and right from the start, they were friendly, professional and everything was explained clearly. Staff were kind, the place was very clean and there was even tea/coffee and biscuits in reception. Procedure did not take long at all and after-care explained properly.

Thought I was going blind in one eye. I had cataracts removed 9 years ago and noticed what I thought was a rapid deterioration in one eye after rubbing it one morning.It
was like looking through a fog. I had noticed that I was cleaning my reading glasses lenses a lot, but because my other eye was perfect for distance I hadn't noticed the quite large loss in the this one. Anyway tried the doctors they sent me on to the opticians who quickly booked me in at Midland Eye. Thankfully I got a cancellation and was seen to in less than a week . The reception stsff were kind and efficient,
but the man at the sharp end(optometrist?)was brilliant.Very reassuring and extremely professional and I was fixed up (i.e.lens lasered back to its best) within 15/20 minutes. The relief was immense.I thought Google maps were a miracle but the skill and the technology involved here was fantastic.Thank you.

The first consultation did not go too well, perhaps due to a clash of personalities, nerves, and misunderstandings. The receptionist sensed my unease and was very kind and reassuring. A second consultation appointment was made, and this went much better. I felt less nervous and felt as if the staff were good at putting me at ease, and listening. On the day of my procedure, all of the staff were so patient and kind. The aftercare instructions were clear. A special mention for Carmen, who is fabulous.

A very professional and pleasant experience. I was given lots of information without being overloaded and the staff were pleasant and courteous throughout.

The fist time I entered the building I was impressed with the professionalism of the organisation. All the staff I meet were caring and made sure I was at ease.
This carried through all my treatment.
