Terrible service lack of communication you pay for fibre but get ADSL

I already had a printer off them for past 2 years never had any problems and if anything went wrong they were always very helpful and sorted things out immediately.
Recently I took out contract for my telecom and broadband from them. Instead I was given ADSL when actually I paid for a fibre. It doesn’t end there it’s been 2 weeks and am still without internet connection. I have rang several times for them to sort this matter out but been passed around to support technical team who have been incompetent to resolve the issues that I am experiencing because of their mistakes. Which they are charging myself double to rectify them.
So far I have gained losses in my business because of them, not only that they have left people vulnerable due to the nature of my business.
I am waiting for a reply as I have sent in a complaint and will update you further once this matter is resolve.
So far what I have experienced I would not want anyone to go through this as it has been and still is very stressful.

We are very sorry that you feel this way. As you know this was a new installation in a new premises for you. BT had no address records for you, which resulted in the need to commence your installation via a survey. Openreach will not allow an installation of fibre in a premises which is not confirmed by them which is why ADSL was provided first with an immediate upgrade to fibre. We do now note that you have a full fibre service 3 days after your line was installed. Midshire have worked very hard to provide you with a full service as quickly as possible and are in the process of sending out one of our own engineers immediately to assess your internal network to confirm the reason for you losing access to the internet.

We will endeavour to work closely with you until you are fully happy with the service installed, and indeed your internal programming has been correctly set to obtain a consistent service from the network.

Very good on printers

We have our office printers through Midshire, having previously used the direct service of a very well-known printer manufacturer. Midshire are considerably cheaper and the service is far better. If we have a problem we no longer have to wait days or even weeks for someone to come out and resolve it. We don't currently use any of their other services so I can't rate those.

Top Class Network Engineer!

All sorted! After a few issues with installation we had an excellent network engineer, David Higgins, stay on the phone for just shy of 3 hours setting up our new copier/printer on every single PC & MAC in the office remotely. Despite plenty of issues with our Network David didn't give up, trying different solutions, talking us through our different options and just being a generally pleasant chap to speak to. We're chuffed with our new machine, its really helping speed up our office processes.

To any Midshire top brass reading this review, David is a credit to your company and has ensured any future business will also be coming your way. Hats off to him, We hope he is rewarded well for his commitment to assisting customers.
