In the past 12 months we’ve purchased new dishwasher, washer and dryer. Since last year I’ve been trying to redeem a voucher they give you for the TwinDos detergents. Honestly not worth the bother anymore. Earlier this month I placed an order for some accessories and cleaners for the appliances and still not received them. Trying to get them to answer a question on their products? Forget it. They are unresponsive and don’t actually send you things you’ve ordered and paid for. Stay away! Horrible service

Follow up service is terrible. It is impossible to get through to the Dublin Office by phone (tried multiple days and time of day). The online booking system for a service technician is faulty (will not allow you to select a date) and blocks you from submitting. I am still waiting for a reply to my email.

Their products are good quality however I would not recommend purchasing them due to their Customer Service after sales. The most excessive call waiting times I've experienced. Incorrect orders being received. Awful Customer Service incorrectly transferred to wrong departments 4 times during 1 query. This wasn't a once off experience.

Two weeks prior to X-mas last year my Miele Induction hub broke. Via my kitchen supplier Miele Ireland was contacted asap with request to repair prior to X-mas. Less than a week prior to X-mas I received a call that due to not existing spare part, in Ireland, repair is only possible on January 16th, 2026. Consequently, X-mas and New Year without a hub to cook. On Jan 14th I got the usual reminder of the appointment.
However, nobody showed up or even called or sent me a mail. Only after I complained by phone I received an e-mail with a meaningless apology and the new appointment of Feb 4th, 2026. I waited all day and again the same issue; nobody showed up or even called or sent me a mail.
I complained again by phone on Feb 5th, 2026 and was rather arrogantely informed that I am scheduled for Feb 11th, 2026. I waited 24 hours for a 3rd complaint to compose myself, A very nice young man by the name of Josh explained for the first time to me that the sparepart usually takes 11 - 14 working days to arrive in Ireland but found no explanation for the lack of communication and or supply chain problem. He was really understanding and nice and should be rewarded.
As a German and used to Miele quality it is beyond my comprehension how a renowned company like Miele can
a) not keep a minimum on spareparts on stock for an entire country
b) accept employees with such a level of customer disregard like the first phone contact
c) accept such a lack of communication in customer service
d) have such a general disregard of customer service in total
My personal conclusion as a 3rd generation client is that I can not recommend Miele any longer to family and friends. On Feb 10th it is my birthday; so Miele thank you for ruining my X-mas, my New Year and my birthday. I am sad that its impossible to give 0 stars.

Initial be customer service experience trying to arrange via customer service to collect a machine.Several phone calls without success No callbacks despite promises. Long waiting times and got disconnected a couple of times. After using the contact form on the website in desperation to request help, we were contacted directly by a logistics manager. The issue was then resolved within a week. After that we only had to follow up once about the refund. So what started as a couple of weeks of a bad and frustrating experience was turned around and we were very happy with the outcome.

My hoover stopped working after 2.5 years of ownership, despite only being used for around 18 months. Although it was outside the warranty period, I agreed to pay for a repair.
Miele repeatedly requested a serial number that is not present on the hoover, so I provided photographic evidence instead. After eventually waiving this requirement, I paid for the repair and was told a repair box would be sent within 48 hours. This never happened, despite payment being taken.
After numerous emails and phone calls, and speaking to different customer service agents each time, they continued to request a serial number again and then claimed they could not locate my payment. (No notes made on my account) The issue remains unresolved.
Money taken, no service provided — just repetitive requests and no progress. Completely unacceptable experience.

We dealt with Caren, I would only want to deal with her. she is a lovely lady who really listens to her customers. She does her utmost to facilitate them.
Miele are lucky to have Caren in Liffey Valley.
I visited Miele in Liffey valley today as my cordless vacuum cleaner was not charging. I was looked after by Ian who answered all my queries, checked the battery and gave me a replacement. I received excellent after sales service. And Ian was so pleasant and courteous and even made me a flat white coffee to sip while I waited.
Great machines (I have 5)-appalling service. 2-3 weeks for a call out. Unacceptable- I don’t understand how the parent company puts up with this.

I visited the Liffey Valley store on the 8th January. As a first-time buyer, I knew very little about washing machines and dryers. I spoke with Caren, who gave me excellent advice on each product and helped me choose the best option for my needs. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. I highly recommend Miele in Liffey Valley, especially Caren, who made the entire process very easy.

Dear Miele Customer Support Team,
I own multiple properties and have been purchasing Miele appliances for over 25 years due to their reputation for quality and reliability.
Unfortunately, when something does go wrong, the experience has been extremely disappointing. It is very difficult to get service support, and finding anyone willing or able to repair the appliances has proven challenging. This significantly undermines the value of investing in a premium brand.
Yesterday, I spent over 40 minutes attempting to make a service appointment. Ari advised that he would call me back, but I am still waiting for that call. This level of service is unacceptable, particularly given the loyalty I have shown to the Miele brand over many years.
I would appreciate urgent follow-up to resolve this matter and to arrange proper service support as soon as possible.
Regards,
John

Their outsourced Philippines service line is an nightmare, long hold times, once you get them 40 mins on the line and if you are lucky will get an email confirmation ( request one for sure), wrong communication eg asked us to put our built in coffee machine into a box and ship to Northern Ireland. Took 3 calls and 3”2 hours to get an email saying someone will contact us………. We have 16 Miele appliances that for the most part work well ex coffee machine don’t bother too many issues, service is shambolic!

I am a domestic appliance engineer with over 50 years of experience .
I would always rated Meile washing machines as the number 1 washing machine .
In recent years I have come across numerous washing machines with the rear drum shaft corroded.
This is not a job that is worth doing as a drum at today's prices is 690 euros
I am afraid I would not recommend meile ever again to any of my customers .
There are far superior machines on the market at much more reasonable prices

I purchased a Miele tumble dryer expecting premium reliability. Instead, it broke completely after just 6 months. But the machine breaking is nothing compared to the nightmare of trying to get it fixed.
The Timeline of Incompetence:
First Appointment: I took a day off work to be home. The engineer never showed up. No text, no call, nothing.
The Call: I had to ring Customer Services myself to find out what happened. I waited on hold for 45 minutes—on a chargeable line—only to be told I had to rebook.
Second Appointment (One week later): I took a second day off work. Once again, the engineer did not show up.
Current Status: Customer Service simply told me I have to wait another week.
There is zero communication. They expect me to keep using my annual leave to wait for phantom engineers who never arrive. Is this the 'premium service' we pay for? The service department essentially does not exist. Do not buy Miele unless you have infinite patience and days off work to waste.
Cue no response or a generic one - shows how little they care.
Another company charging premium on a name that no longer delivers.

I bought a replacement Miele dishwasher in March last and from the start, I was not pleased with the way it rinsed (yes, filters cleaned regularly), its 'cheap/lightweight construction compared to my previous Miele Dishwasher. I went back to the supplier (DID electrical) and they said there was nothing they could do, as the machine was mechanically okay, that my issue was with the quality of the product. So, I'm stuck with a machine I hate. Every time I see one of those smug Miele adverts, it compounds my displeasure. Whatever you do, don't buy the one that costs 1,000 euros (Activ Plus). To get a good quality dishwasher from this company, I expect you've to pay the guts of 2,000 euros. If only I'd been told... I'd have bought a Bosch.

Recently purchased our second Miele washer. On delivery there was a water leak due to the filter cap not being closed properly presumably on assembly. Contacted the retailer who informed that the serviceman was in the area that day and would call on his way back to Base. Doorbell rings at 8.30 pm on a Friday night and there was the serviceman. The most amazing and helpful guy I have dealt with and a credit to Miele who I hope realise the asset he is. Ashamed I don't recall his name but he covers the Kerry area. Thanks for everything you are a credit to your company

Ordered a HX2 vacuum on Monday 10th, from a local electrical store, order was placed same day, Miele only picked it on 14th, and on the 19th it still hadn't been delivered to the shop. I understood Miele was a premium brand, but this service is shockingly bad. It gives me concerns as to how they would deal with service or warranty issues. Id have to say, my experience with Dyson in terms of delivery has been mush more efficient, as has been their warranty support. Miele do not have an effective delivery or stock system from what I have seen.

Called into the Liffey SC branch yesterday to buy an oven and left after buying two additional products. How did that happen (my bank manager asked). Basically we were served by Caren Robinson whose product knowledge was second to none. But more importantly, she showed a genuine interest in us (you know, the customer) which was refreshing in the year 2025. If you are a discerning customer who is looking for well informed sales person with the right attitude, then Caren is your person.

We visited Miele showroom in Liffey Valley a few weeks ago as we wanted to replace our existing Dyson Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with the equivalent Miele Version. We were met in the shop by Ian Crowley who was absolutely fantastic with his knowledge of the Miele vacuum cleaners on offer. We did not buy on the day but we did end up buying one from DID Lucan. Top quality service from Ian which is hard to get these days and highly recommend him and Miele for any household products. Well done Ian and Miele
