Rubbish experience ever!!!
Where do i start?? My 9 month old daughter had a very high temperature and hospital told me to bring her in. I booked a cab at 22:30 to arrive to me at 22:50. I waited 10 minutes and they were still not here so i called them at 23:00 and they said they will be with me in 10 minutes which would make them 20 minutes late. I said i booked them over 30 minutes ago but the operator lady said that i booked them only 5 minutes ago. I then went back on the app and tried again but redirected me to the same place so i called them to double check that they recieved my booking. I then waited and my cab came. Got in and drove towards the hospital. Got to my destination and i hand over a £10 note for a £9 fare thinking the driver would give me £1 change but he turned around and said he does not have change. I was going to say its ok when he told me to take my sick baby into the hospital and break my note and come back and give him change then i turned around and said no i dont think so and demanded my change. He just kept on saying that he did not have the change. I called up the office and had the lady on speaker talking to him and asked him why he does not have any change. His excuse was that i was his first passenger and that he had no change in the car. I was thinking to my self what if i only had a big note then what. I then said to him that my husband is a private hire driver and he makes sure that he has change to start his float off every time he starts to drive he then turns around and said if your husband is a cabbie then why did he not drive me to the hospital him self. Now that really took the biscuit when he said that even with the lady on the phone on loud speaker. After arguing that he doesnt have change the lady told him to go and break the note and give me the change. He drove us to a shop and then passed me the change. As we drove there he kissed his teeth at me and said why am i being so difficult its only £1 and i said its my £1 change. This guy must do this alot to with passengers short changing them. I really feel he was so unprofessional and rude and should not be a cabbie. I did feel quite scared when he was refusing to give my money back
Perfect service
The car arrived early and waited for us, the driver was very polite and professional.
Well done
Late start
I get super frustrated when the driver calls me after our agreed pick up time, because he can't find our location. And then having to stay on the phone for the next 10 minutes to direct him... And then going way above speed limit to get to the airport on time...
I know it's a better deal to book through through MiniCabster but the above is never an issue with London Cabbies.
Disgraceful Service
I booked a cab the day before for an early flight to be collected at 4:45 in the morning. Only at 4:45 did i find out that the drivers jobs were mixed up (sounded like he was still in bed) and would only be able to make it in the next 45 minutes to an hour, which was useless as i would have missed my flight. I was left calling round local cab companies and was lucky enough to find someone who could pick me up. I would not use MiniCabster again following on from this.
great service
They are very kind and attentive. Flexible when one runs into problem and the driver was polite and helpful.
100% recomendable
Disappointed
I booked my taxi for 23:45 and it turned up 15 minutes late making me late for the event I was attending. I was then told that the price advertised on the minicabster app was wrong, so instead of paying £26 I had to pay £35 which is a ridiculous amount. Due to me already being late, I decided to pay for it, however I am very disappointed that I did not pay for what I booked. I decided not to use this service on my way home and I ended up paying £20.22 with another service. I hope that I am contacted as to why the wrong price was advertised.
Horrible experience
I've always used minicabster but the services are not consistent. They've cancelled my booking and didn't make a replacement right away and I continued to think my cab was arriving. I was due to be in the airport and was delayed instead.
I have cancelled a few bookings but refund never went through until a month later. Disappointing.
Easy, fast and reliable
Easy, fast and reliable. makes minicab booking much easier and cheaper as it's a nice tools to find the best price as well as booking and paying it.
Booking does not exist
I contacted the cab driver today to confirm my booking and he claims my booking was not made ....to make a new one! Not sure who is the scamer. Airport wings was the company. So....little over 24hs to get to the airport and no way to get home. Thanks for nothing minicabster or airport wings. Needless to say I won't be using this again.
Excellent service
The service was excellent and the driver was very kind
Taxi cancelled at last minute
Made a booking the night before for a wedding event.
Taxi cancelled half an hour before the end of the wedding. Minicabster offered no explanation or apology and Abby, the phone attendant, simply said: "There are none available now".
This left a family of 6 of us including 2 elderly people standing on the street. The first and last time I will use this service. Uber all the way.
Great driver
The cab was even earlier than I have expected. Great driving. I felt safe and it was quick as the driver knew routes around traffic! Very excellent service! Very pleased!
Not there on time
Wasn't there on time. Over 10 mins late and over 3 miles away according to the tracker app. So I had to cancel and get an UBER so I could make it to my appointment. Very disappointing.
