Having visited numerous jewellers in the Birmingham Jewellery quarter, Jade from Mitchel & co was by far the most helpful and gave me confidence that they would be able to produce the bespoke engagement ring I was looking for.

She gave advice on how to improve upon the design and the various options I could have from band, settings and the four c's. I was kept up to date with the progress of the ring, sketches and photos

Having felt quite stressed about picking an engagement at the start of the process, jade & Mitchell and co put my mind at ease.

Will hopefully be coming back for the wedding rings.

The service I received from Mitchel and Co was exemplary from start to finish. I was only able to get the store once before buying an engagement ring and therefore, spent a number of weeks prior to visit talking to Jade about its bespoke design.

On arrival, I was shown the beautiful setting (exactly as I had hoped it would be) which simply left us with the fun task of finding a diamond to fit it. Jade couldn't have been more helpful throughout, providing plentiful updates on the setting (including photos), expert advice on the 4Cs and tailoring everything to my specific needs. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured into making a decision and as a result, what could have been a stressful day was in fact, hugely enjoyable. Despite time constraints, the diamond was set that day.

The friendliness and dedication of the staff really set Mitchel and Co apart from other jewellers for me and I will definitely be returning for wedding rings. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you!!

The service provided by Mitchel and Co. has been absolutely outstanding from start to finish.
I bought the ring as a surprise for my girlfriend in preparation for a proposal (less than a week to go!!) and they were able to cater to my every need.
The initial consultation was helpful and informative - I was able to select the band and diamond to my specifications and Mitchel and Co. worked with my price range to get me the best ring possible.
I was able to collect the ring on the day I wanted, at the time I wanted and was kept fully in the loop with it's progress and turned up on the day to find it all ready to go.
I was given all the associated paperwork to accompany the ring and the diamond and a full overview of the product to make sure I was happy with it before I left - safe to say it exceeded all of my already-high expectations.
All that's left now is to hope she says yes...

We approached Mitchell and Co to set a sapphire into a new design for an engagement ring. We met Mitch and his dog when we arrived and he guided us through the process of finding a design to compliment the sapphire with a lot of patience and expertise. He talked us through their jewellery making process and how their standards would give us the best quality of platinum. We found the perfect design in the French Pavé, which brought us to the inevitable discussion of the price. We were amazed when Mitch quoted a figure which was much more affordable than anyone else we had spoken to. We said yes immediately and after a short wait we received our perfect engagement ring. The quality is beyond our expectations, from the grade of diamonds to the way the elegant platinum design perfectly compliments the sapphire, showing it off to its best. We will definitely be returning for the wedding bands and we highly recommend Mitchel and Co to anyone seeking to buy jewellery, especially if seeking bespoke designs.

We purchased both the engagement and wedding rings from Mitchell & Co, travelling from Suffolk to Birmingham on both occasions. The travel was worthwhile as Jade made the selection process a pleasure and the quality of the design and craftsmanship is excellent. The value for money is re-assuring as is the knowledge that you have made a wise investment with people who really understand their craft.

As I guess is the case with most men shopping for an engagement ring, this was the first time I'd ever bought a ring and hadn't a clue what I was doing. After sitting down with Jade for 20 minutes I felt like I had a clear understanding of everything that I should be paying attention to which enabled me to make my own decision, she couldn't have been easier to talk to. On top of the great advice and service, they were also extremely competitive on price. I would recommend Mitchel & Co to anyone.

From the beginning we have had a fantastic experience with the team especially with Jade Ferreira who has not only helped but devoted her time into creating the perfect bespoke engagement ring for me. She has been there from start to finish and made it a fantastic and memorable experience.

Jade is a credit to the sales team and has been extremely patient, honest and thoughtful throughout. All of the staff have been very knowledgeable about diamonds and they aim to educate you as well throughout the process. They were all very attentive to our requirement and genuinely interested in your ideas.

The customer service has been faultless (we visited around 5 times!) and each time we felt welcomed and remembered. Helen and Mitch (the lovely owners) we also involved in the creation of the ring and made the process feel extra special. We also met Amy from the production team who explained the technical logistics of the design and gave us further confidence that the final piece would be a creative work of art with the correct engineering.

Trying to create the perfect engagement ring from scratch is a difficult task especially for someone as particular as myself and not once did we feel pressured it making a sale. The ring has been beautifully made and is immaculate, we will definitely we returning to get our wedding bands made as there really is nothing they cannot do and they just want to ensure customers are completely satisfied which we were. From the moment we entered Mitchell & Co we were made to feel at home. Jade was interested in what we wanted and then set about informing us of our options, nothing was too much bother. Jade also made the choosing of the diamond and ring/ setting style easy for us with many useful tips and hints. The service from the other staff that got involved with our final purchase were also easy to talk to and friendly, there was an obvious togetherness within the team that made an expensive purchase memorable for the right reasons. There was no pushy sales tactics at all, as customers we were treated as individuals and made to feel very special.

A difficult decision making process and quite nerve racking all made very simple by Luke, thank you. We made two visits to the Jewelry Quarter to try and find the right shop to buy an engagement ring. Eventually more by luck we came across Mitchel & Co and were immediately made to feel very comfortable. Luke was very perceptive in offering us just what we wanted having gone through long discussions about the stone, design etc and being shown many examples. He was also very discreet about budget etc which is helpful when you are out as a couple. Everything went to plan in terms of design and the process of getting to the final product. It really is an amazing ring and one we are both very proud of. We will certainly be returning for wedding bands and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Visiting Mitchel & Co was a life changing event - literally. From the minute we walked in we felt welcome and valued. At that stage I thought I was still just browsing but nothing was too much trouble. We had looked in other shops but there was something very comfortable and different here.
Luke was adept at asking a few salient questions in order to help find the right style, cut, design and shape as well as guide us through the process. His knowledge is wonderful and he genuinely wants you to get the right ring. Step by step I gained confidence as he showed us many variations and explained the differences in the stones and settings. At this point I think I started grinning from ear to ear as I realised we were potentially about to buy our diamond! Once it was revealed from its little packet we both went "wow". That was it, a life changing moment and realising this was exactly what we had been looking for and would be announcing our engagement with. Thank you to everyone at Mitchel & Co. At every subsequent stage of having the ring designed, fitted and collected it was exciting for us - and coupled with brilliant service by motivated staff. Without question, we will be returning here for our wedding bands.

Being from the Midlands/Birmingham area I decided to go to the Jewellery Quarter to buy an engagement ring. I had a fairly good idea of the sort of ring that I wanted and wanted to have a look around a few Jewellers to gauge styles and prices. I went to 3 Jewellers before entering Mitchel & Co and everything was 100 mph in the other Jewellers, you didn't think like you were getting a personalised service and I was being hurried in and out of shops as they had more people to see. As soon as I entered Mitchel & Co things couldn't have been more different.

Jade looked after me and I explained to her the sort of ring that I would like, at which point she told me they could completely customise rings and you could effectively design your own setting. Being a designer myself this was a major selling point and Jade walked me through the whole process and gave me advice on the real technical and detail about setting and ring design and of course 'the 4 c's'.

The whole atmosphere of the shop was completely different to elsewhere in the Jewellery Quarter and other members of the team came over to give their opinion on the design as well - they were all very welcoming and friendly. Jade then sent me pictures of the CAD of the design and the castings before I went to pick the ring up.

When I actually went to pick the ring up I was stunned at how amazing it had turned out, the quality of the craftmanship was amazing and the ring had real wow factor. Luckily for me she said yes and she is absolutely ecstatic about the ring, in her words she had never seen a nicer ring elsewhere herself!

I would not hesitate to recommend Mitchel & Co to anyone and have already recommended them to friends and family. I would even go as far as saying don't look anywhere else in the Jewellery Quarter!

We will definitely be going back to get our wedding bands done.

I was very nervous and unsure how the process worked to design a bespoke engagement ring. I emailed Mitchell and Co a few details of what I would like with a picture. Jade dealt with me and right from the beginning she was brilliant. She made me feel at ease, was very helpful and organised a morning meeting to look at some diamonds and discuss a design. The whole process was so easy especially considering I didn't know what I was doing but Jade was very helpful. I could email engraving images across once I had decided and whoever made the ring is very talented.

I had a date in mind and they managed to turn around a beautiful bespoke ring in just over 4 weeks and it was ready a day early.

I feel I got so much for my money and the ring valuation is a lot more than what I paid. The ring is perfect.

I would 100% recommended Mitchell and Co.

We wish to pass onto you both a big heartfelt thank you for the service that we have received from Luke in assisting us to not only purchase 2 wedding rings but also to design a bespoke wedding ring for Wendy to fit seamlessly to her engagement ring.

May I say that when we came to your store on Saturday 13th February 2016 having made a journey to purposely visit Diamond Heaven where I purchased the engagement ring from previously in December 2013 to receive a service that was shocking, due to the design of the engaging ring there was no off the shelf ring, we were told to go to KK jewellers which to our amazement was the only thing they could offer us even though they said they did bespoke designs and knew we were not getting married until 1st October 2016.

Having see your shop whilst walking past, I told Wendy I wanted to come and have a look as we certainly didn't like the look of KK jewellers.

On entering your shop and being greeted by Luke and asking what it was we were looking for Luke then tried to see if there was a ring in the shop suitable to fit alongside the engagement ring, due to the design this was not possible, Luke then explained that we could design our own wedding ring and with his assistance and guidance we began to implement this, Luke treated us like real customers even though he knew we had been to Diamond Heaven already that morning and the shocking service we had received.

Luke gave us full confidence that we trusted in him and his knowledge to create something special and unique, he drew sketches of the wedding ring design for Wendy and told us it would be ready for the 12th March 2016.

Luke then proceeded to use his knowledge to guide me on my wedding ring explaining the differences in the metals, shape and styles available.

We just want to express our sincere gratitude and a huge thank you to Luke and the service we have received from the start to the collection of the rings, even finding out Luke has a King Charles dog called Bella, bit ironic really because so do we and yes her name is Bella also.

We will be recommending yourselves without a shadow of doubt and certainly at some point I am sure we will be returning.

I went looking for an engagement ring in the Jewellery Quarter with absolutely no idea what I was doing, but I stumbled into Mitchel and Co, and was greeted by Luke who could see the whites in my eyes from a mile away. Having discovered that I had absolutely no clue what I was doing, Luke sat me down with a coffee and explained how you go about buying a ring and the different things to look for and determined what exactly I wanted. We ended up designing an incredible ring, and it was ready to pick up after 3 weeks I can't thank him enough for helping me. Luke's approach was exactly what I needed and I was so relieved I had found a place like this to buy my ring. Cannot fault Mitchel and co. Brilliant service and amazing quality rings. Luke helped my fiancé and I get the perfect engagement ring for me, we designed it ourselves and he worked so hard to understand what was important to me and to get the ring exactly how I wanted it - and I am very fussy! I couldn't be happier with the finished ring, I absolutely love it and I am not an easy customer to please! Cannot recommend Luke and Mitchel and co. enough. Luke was so patient and listened to every detail to get it perfect for me and they went out their way to find solutions to get me what I wanted even when we didn't think it was possible. Buying an engagement ring is never going to be an easy task, but fortunately for me I walked into Mitchell and Co, met Jade, and everything fell into place. I never once felt like I was being forced into buying from there, in fact, I was advised to look elsewhere for designs ideas and prices, and that worked for me. Jade pulled all the design ideas together to something that is now absolutely perfect, and was in contact every step of the way.
I cannot recommend this jewelers enough and the service Jade and the team give, the care and appreciation for detail, communication, and experience of the after service has been faultless. Will definitely use again in future.
