I had been looking on the website for Rose Gold engagement and weddings rings. I struggled to find a place that sold classic, diamond rose gold rings. We came across the Mitchel & Co website advertising Rose gold beautiful rings.
When we arrived at the shop, they had a lovely collection for me to choose from and we also had the option to have the rings bespoke. I was in Heaven!!
The team spent as much time as we needed to make sure we got exactly the rings we wanted. We ended up buying all of our wedding rings from here.
When we went to pick up our bespoke rings my first reaction was, 'omg they're better than I expected'. My engagement ring is called , 'I am so heavenly' which is perfect for my personalty...lol!

I get a lot of compliments about my rings and the rings always sparkle!!
I cant wait to visit the shop again for our 1st Anniversary in October 2016..

Mitchell and Co made a beautiful engagement ring for my now wife. Their price was good compared to prices I had found online and their service surpassed anything I could expect. I was served by Luke who was very friendly and helpful. They worked to my very tight timescale and produced a very beautiful piece. We were so impressed that we went back and bought our wedding rings from them. What's even better is that their service didn't end when we walked out with our rings as they invited us back to take our rings in regularly to be cleaned and maintained. I recommend them without reservation.

My partner and I ventured out to the jewellery quarter on a bank holiday in December 2015. Mitchel and Co were the most welcoming and classy looking jewellery shop open so we went in.

The shop is beautifully lit and set out. Fresh flowers on the counter. I couldn't help but think there was no way we could afford our wedding rings from such a nice shop. We were warmly welcomed by Debbie who explained that Mitchel and Co make bespoke rings to order. I was really worried about how much they would cost now.

Debbie helped us work out what shape, size, carat and colour of gold was right for us. It was a lovely and attentive experience. Debbie went off to work out how much our rings would cost to make to order and I prepared for that awkward moment when we say we'll think about it.

Debbie came back to tell us the two white gold rings would be £230. I was gobsmacked. "Is that each?" I asked. But no. That was for both our rings made to order. And it even included engraving. Sold!

Since we ordered the rings I have called Mitchel and Co several times to discuss collection or delivery and my angst about whether the unplated white gold wedding ring would match my white gold rodium plated ring which has dulled with time. The team were very patient and attentive throughout all my interactions with them.

Today my almost husband and I went to collect our wedding rings. I am overwhelmed by how beautiful they are. And they were made just for us. No one has tried them on before. They are not available in mass quantities. They are unique and they are utterly perfect.

Even though my engagement ring wasn't purchased from them, the staff went out of their way to ensure that the two rings matched and polished up my engagement ring making for two perfectly matched and shiny rings.

Do not hesitate to trust Mitchel and Co with the most important part of your wedding and life together. From start to finish the experience was outstanding and the rings are- perfect.

Fantastic customer service.

I decided to design the engagement ring for my fiancee and they were a great help with every step of the design process. After coming up with the initial design they drew it up on CAD and made any alterations I requested. After all that work it was still cheaper than most of the 'catalog' rings from other shops.

I highly recommend this store and I'll be using Mitchel & Co again soon for the weeding bands.

I was looking for an engagement ring. Living in London, the obvious location for me would have been Hatton Garden. But having read the online reviews for Mitchel & Co I decided to make the trip up to see them in Birmingham instead, and I'm very glad I did!

As all the other reviewers have said, their service is second to none. Jade from the sales team deserves a special mention here for the time she took to explain the basics of diamond buying (4 c's etc), and then go through the extensive range of designs on offer. Thanks Jade! There's no hard sell, and you end up with a high quality, bespoke ring for a competitive price. I was delighted with the end result, and more importantly, so was my partner. The quality of the craftsmanship really shows; people are constantly asking her where her ring is from. It's safe to say we'll be going back to Mitchel & Co to choose our wedding bands! If you are looking to buy a special piece of jewellery, I would recommend them without hesitation.

My Fiance was absolutely delighted with her unique engagement ring from Mitchel & Co. The team went the extra mile to get the bespoke design absolutely perfect, and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome.

My fiance and I came to Mitchel and Co in February 2015 and by April we had our bespoke engagement ring beautifully made and by November we had both wedding rings made (within 1 month of design!). Everyone we met at the Co was so personable and welcoming and it feels more like a family than a company. Luke, Mitchel and Helen dealt with us the majority of the way and they were outstanding. Every step was made simple and worked around us. The ring design concept to showing us CAD images and finally the end result was fun and stress free. This Co is unique and very thorough in its customer service and I honestly couldnt fault them. Their prices are also extremely competitive.
The whole process has been a pleasure. Not to mention getting free champagne and meeting the shop security dog Bear!

Jade and the team did a fantastic job of helping us find the perfect design for an engagement ring (and the perfect diamond to set it off) and wedding rings, and they were all beautifully made. Mitchel & Co was the last place we visited on our ring-buying day up in Birmingham, but we'd definitely saved the best 'til last :-) Highly recommended.

I have so far purchased an engagement ring, 2 wedding rings, a locket and had several pieces of jewellery restored and I have to say the service is excellent every time I visit. The staff are so friendly and attentive and I will be using Mitchel and Co again in the future. A special shout out has to go to Luke who has very good knowledge of precious stones and metals and will work with you to produce a piece of jewellery that exceeds expectations. I definitely would recommend them.

We purchased our bespoke wedding rings from Mitchel & Co, they were superb and we have received so many compliments about them, so when we were looking for an eternity ring, despite visiting all of the other jewellers in the quarter, we still ended up at Mitchels, and Mitchel was very helpful in assisting me to choose a ring, which in the end turned out to be another bespoke ring (I don't like 'normal') which we collected on Saturday, and I'm pleased to say is just as stunning as the wedding rings. It is such a lovely place to visit, there is no hard sell like in other shops, and they are always on hand with advice and for a friendly chat. Would always recommend if anyone was looking for that special something.

We ended up getting our engagement ring from Mitchel & Co after a bad experience with another jeweller. As soon as I saw the rings in their showroom I could see there was a big difference in the detail and quality Compared to others. Luke and Helen had the patience of saints helping us choose the right design and sourcing the perfect diamond. The end product is pure class and for that reason we have recommended friends and family and have just been back and ordered our wedding bands. Thanks to all the staff their.

The ring that was designed and produced from a photo, was exactly what we wanted. We were expertly guided through the whole process by Luke who is very helpful and competent, along with all the staff we spoke to at Mitchel & Co. Thank you all for the beautiful ring.

I recently visited Mitchel and Co for a valuation of an engagement ring I purchased, which I required for insurance purposes. We spoke to Mitchel, who kindly agreed to value the ring. It was purchased for £4,500 from a very reputable jeweller. After valuing the ring, we were told that he could only value the ring at £3,800. I was, to say the least, shocked. After airing my concerns, I was told that the valuation was correct and that the ring was not worth £4,500. I immediately took the ring to the Assay Office in Birmingham, who provided the original Anchorcert diamond certificate, and who agreed to re-value the ring. A few days later, the Assay Office provided an independent valuation of £5,420. I must say that all of the staff at Mitchel and Co were extremely friendly and polite, and I cannot fault their friendly approach. But, considering the huge disparity between the two valuations, I simply cannot recommend their valuation service. I understand that all valuations are subjective, but after the Assay Office's valuation and after having taken the ring to other jewellers for a verbal valuation (all of which valued the ring in the region of £5,500), I would recommend that others save their £35 (the cost of a valuation at Mitchel and Co) and get their items valued elsewhere. The Assay Office were very helpful, and provided a very professional valuation, complete with certificate, pictures, and an in-depth description of the ring for £65.

I bought my engagement ring for my fiancé from Mitchel & Co last year and we have since come in to have the ring resized. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of the team at Mitchel & Co, and especially Amie, who I first spoke to when I came in the store, for making the whole experience of buying a ring a lot more enjoyable and a lot less daunting than when I had first started out on this! Yours was the first store I had come into when I had not felt the pressure of a salesperson to buy a ring, and it was very much understood that it had to be the ring that was right for my girlfriend, rather than the one that was there. I was put thoroughly at ease and I knew instantly that I wanted to buy the engagement ring from here. What was also really great was the option I was given to tailor elements of a ring design, as well as pick out the diamond to be used, so that I could have an incredibly unique ring. So a huge, huge thank you!

Myself and my fiancé subsequently returned here to buy our wedding rings. Both Jade and Helen who we dealt with were brilliant - incredibly friendly and helpful. Their thorough knowledge enabled us to choose the rings that were right for us. I can't recommend them highly enough - I know we will certainly be back in future!

I cannot begin to express how much joy, dedication and love that the whole of the Mitchel & Co put into the process of getting an engagement ring for my fianceé, they were so good that we went back to them for our wedding bands.

They are a fantastic team, dedicated to giving you the right rings for the right occasion. If more companies could be like them, the world would be a better place.

Specifically I would like to thank Mitchel for his help following our initial visit, and Luke for introducing us to the wide range available.

The only con I would say is that when rings were ready, we weren't notified straight away (I had to call up) but as soon as I knew they were ready, I could pick up that day, or get next day recorded delivery. And this was a minor blip in an otherwise incredible experience, where you really did feel that they were your highest priority, even recommending cheaper options if they suited us better.

I cannot recommend them enough, if you plan to get engaged, please use Mitchel & Co to get the ring, they will make the engagement all the more special to you both.

I know you read these online reviews and you think "well, that's okay, but it's one guy", well we went in around 10 different times for various different reasons, every single time they were friendly, and over the course of the purchase process we really got to know the staff well.

I have been looking for an eternity ring for my wife and had been recommended to look in the Birmingham jewellery quarter even though it is not that close to where we live.

Having looked a number of reviews of different jewellers Mitchel and Co stood out as the reviews were all very positive and the website gave a good impression of a company that would understand our requirements and could offer a personal service. My wife had some very specific ideas for an eternity ring and the design service offered by MItchel and Co was a big attraction.

We visited Mitchel and Co where Luke discussed our requirements and offered a number of options that would coordinate with my wife’s other jewellery. The service was every bit as good as we had hoped and the ring was produced within 2 weeks, exactly as we discussed for the design. They also repaired a damaged clasp on a necklace and cleaned her other rings which now have a renewed sparkle.

The staff have all been great to deal with and I would not hesitate in shopping here again.

Looked at several shops at the jewellery quarter then came across Mitchel & Co - hands down the best shop I went to. Great staff, great jewellery and most importantly, the right price.
Was shopping for engagement ring, picked the style I liked, then they put some unique changes on for me to make it more individual. They had a great selection of loose stones and they really put the effort in to find the right quality stone that was within my budget. They also had the best price on the JQ excluding some of the less reputable shops...
Get some prices from the other stores, but buy here! :)
