Don’t buy from them! At first I was helped friendly at the store. But the misery began with the delivery. I moved to an old house where I wasn’t sure if the couch would fit through the stairway. So I contacted the customer serviced. There at first I didn’t get reaction but after I contacted them they would take actions. They did. Because they still weren’t sure, they suggested to come see ans measure it. The first appointment. Comclusion: It will fit, nearly so we made another appointment for delivery. The deliverymoment was a disaster. It didn’t fit, so the driver told me I had to make another appointment and pay for the costs of coming for nothing! I was not amused! After calling the customer services I didn’t had to pay those costs but the costs of hiring an elevator of 250 euro!!! As a compesation they suggested me to only pay half of the price. Terrible! Every company I found was less then the amount I had to pay! They told me because Montel has an agreement with that company because of insurance! Another lie because that is even covered by the elevatorcompany as standard and still less than 150 euro! I had to give up 3 times my free time from work! And it took more than a month all together! Because of planning. After I asked if they could make an exception because all the terrible actions, they said that was not possible. Montel was willing they said but the elevatorcompany wasn’t able to come sooner. Another lie! I informed three company’s and they were all very flexible and cheaper!
Above all, the people at customer service were absolutely not friendly. Not trying to solve problems but one told also that it was a waste if his time talking to me because he could help other people in that time! Wow! How about that! After everything that went wrong, I had to pay a lot extra, had to give up 3 free days from work been lief to and make a lot of effort! And for a couch that is not cheap!
Conclusion, I will never never buy anything from there! If I could give more red stars I would give it 5 red stars!

I bought 3000 euro leather sofa and Montel delivered me the sofa with five defects. The store manager is saying there is nothing she can do and just directing me to the service desk who cant never receive the damage photos somehow. I am dissapointed with the quality management and claim handling. Very unprofessional.

We are totally not satisfied with the company Montel as well as its store in Nijmegen!
When we bought our sofa everything was ok, however till now we are waiting already 12 weeks and not 8 weeks as agreed.
Our order has been forgotten! Although we made a deposit of 25% of the order value, Montel did not notice it!
In week 7 we called Montel to get more info about the exact delivery date as the webtool told us everything will work as planned. The employee of Montel Nijmegen told us everything will work as planned and he will inform us about the exact date. 2 days later we checked the webtool again and noticed that the delivery date was postponed about 6 weeks.
The best of it, they have the brass not to inform us about this personally. No E-Mail, no call, nothing.
Following, I complaint about the whole situation! The customer service pledged us a 50€ voucher on the sofa. Ridiculously! That is nearly 2.1% off from the total value, for forgetting our order! On top of it, 2 weeks later and 4 further phone calls; we still did not receive it!
No one feels responsible and there is still no acceptable solution for the whole issue! These are the simplest things to deal with. What will happen if there is something wrong with the sofa?

We bought a couch (the new Dedon model) at Montel Barendrecht yesterday. The salesperson, Burcin Aksay, was very friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. She explained all the specifics about the couch, all customization possibilities, and also achieved a good price for us. We had a great shopping experience and will certainly come back.
Knowledgeable and very helpful staff. We are yet to try the sofa :-)

We ordered a sofa and a chair. Chair delivered is different than in the showroom. Sofa is broken within a week's time. This is after spending 4000 euros on both. No response from customer service even after making an email complaint and repeated calls. Nobody called even after making an appointment. Sales people in the shop were visibly irritated when we went to ask for help and denied any support. Very bad expedience. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
