I just avoided a disaster thanks to Reviews here. Thanks to everyone for their honesty. PLEASE READ on Ryelo website *Refunds & Return* It states extremely disproportionate Terms and Conditions. Has all the hallmarks of a Scam. Very bad English and impossibly high jumps to get a refund. Even items that are refused at the door by the buyer don't qualify for a full refund.

What an awful experience. Clearly in breach of consumer rights. Refused me a refund several times. Tried to cancel order before they sent hoover. Also company name change in the middle of my dispute to Ryelo. Product from China, sent from uk but want returns back to China. Nonsensical. Shameful experience. Be warned ⚠️

Do not order from this company they are SCAMMERS

Ordered this moonpod hoover on the 20th Aug after reading an article saying it was the best hoover on the market, couldn't be any further from the truth.
After ordering this hoover all the reviews came up about it, so I straight away emailed them to cancel my order.i ordered it at 3.20pm on the 20th and less than 30 minutes later I emailed to cancel it, to then be told by joy that it was too late as the hoover had already been shipped. They are nothing but a bunch of liars and scammers who prey on decent people and con them out of money.I emailed again to state that this was not possible to be then told that when the hoover arrives, I have 14 days to return it for a refund, but I would have to email them for a return address as the address on the box is not correct. It is an address in Leicester and it looks like a trading estate.
I have emailed this Joy every day asking for the return address but keep getting the same reply " don't worry you have 14 days, you can try it maybe you will like it and not have to return it"
It is the worse piece of c--p I have ever seen, no suction cheaply made, the list goes on, and all the time doing battle with Joy the robot.
My husband is a detective with the police and if I don't get my refund we are going to take a trip down to Leicester, (which is not far from us) to investigate these scammers and hopefully get them shut down.
Update to this review: they have been reported to trading standards, national crime line and to the bank.
They are now doing a full investigation on them and I will not rest untill they are no longer trading anywhere. Disgusting people.

Don't buy this hoover. It's a scam, the hoover is absolutely hopeless. It doesn't pick up even on full power, and is a cheap Chinese copy.

Absolutely scam. The product is cheap and poor quality. They don't allow you to return it unless you pay for it to be shipped to china at your own expense. Every email just gets the same reply offering a pathetic discount to keep the product. No contact number or anything just "Joy" who emails you back. I'm pretty up on this stuff but when I was looking for a new vac I clicked on a sponsored ad which said this was currently the best cordless vacuum cleaner. Please avoid this company at all costs!

Purchased this hoover in May.
The battery life stated is not correct unless you use it on the lowest power, but suction is not good. So if you put the power level up, the battery goes down in seconds. You can see this. Even on the highest level the suction is not great. Last month a piece of the fabric just came off the brush. Then today, for know reason the handle snapped. Cheaply made.
Thankfully I’ve kept my Dyson, even after 10 years that works better although heavier. At the time of buying, the reviews were decent.
The only good thing about this moonpod hoover was the speed of delivery and the fact it’s light.
Have emailed customer services, but based on the reviews I’ve read, I won’t hold my breath.

I'm in love this cordless vacuum! It looks really premium, and it's so convenient to use. The dustbin is HUGE, and the suction is strong. I love the audio-sensing mode, which really helps save batter.

I ordered a vacuum a couple of hours later found out it was no longer required by the person from day one I have asked for a refund and was told it had been shipped this was a Friday! Emailed everyday saying the item wasn't required and each day no came the reply then on the Monday in the afternoon I recieved a email with tracking details on once again emailed for a return address so I could return it ASAP swerved the request saying try it you might like it !! Once again replied the item wasn't needed anyway it came yesterday so asked for the address to return it and still no address
The vacuum is waiting to be returned and I'm hoping and I mean hoping I get a address to return it
Have you noticed how positive reviews recieve a reply bit the poor ones have nothing posted on them
I'm fuming at this whole debarcal and just want rid of this vacuum as to what quality it is I really don't care as its not stopping

After following my daughters advice we contacted visa through our bank and woe and behold a email has arrived to send vacuum back to a address in England 🇬🇧

The vacuum has a stylish design and works well on hard floors. However, for larger homes and heavy use, the battery life is not sufficient. I appreciate the fast delivery and responsive customer service.

The tactics used are complex and very believable! I’m in my 40’s and have never been scammed before. Before now I believed I was very good at making online purchases and verifying their legitimacy and until yesterday I’ve never regretted buying anything online. I purchased a vacuum after seeing it was top rated product, reviewed as such on a site sponsored by google. The website also looked legitimate…it wasn’t until after a short while I got this niggling feeling that something isn’t right. Looked up outside of this sponsored site and lo and behold it opened up a whole new scary world. Have contacted them and already know from their response I won’t be getting my money back. I’m devastated and feel so so silly (putting it mildly)! ❗️ AVOID AVOID AVOID❗️

Be so very careful if thinking of ordering from this site. Not only do you need to read all the reviews to see why, cheap poorly made parts and poor customer service, but if you cancel your order within minutes of placing it they charge a 15% fee. Consumer rights uk say this is unreasonable. You will have to fight it and claim it back via your credit card. Unbelievable and terrible way to run your business.

Tried to cancel the order 5 minutes after ordering and they claimed they had already sent it and could not cancel. Vacuum showed up after 10 days and on plugging it in to charge got an E1 flashing up and the vacuum is cutting out after 5 seconds. After reading the reviews on here I don't expect I will have much luck getting a refund.

After doing research, I saw that MOONPOD was the best cordless hoover for 2024.
However I purchased the hoover in July. I went to use it after charging the battery to full. It just wouldn't pick up little bits. So I'd have to go over 2-3 times so the carpet was clean.
I emailed the company (UK email), I was told to send a video of the issue. Which I did.
They asked me to clean the filter etc as trouble shooting (I took photos for proof that I'd followed their request). I was asked to send another video of the problem. I did this. Another email later they asked for another video.
At this point. I requested a return and my money back. I received another email asking for a video. By this point I was becoming frustrated. I contacted my bank asking them to step in. I was informed by the bank that I'd done the a reasonable request in asking for a full refund.
Moonpod sent me another email, ( as the bank had been in been in contact with them) asking me to retracted my chargeback. Here's the full email from them

I'm very happy with this vacuum cleaner. The suction power is outstanding, and the battery life is adequate for my apartment. Great product overall.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! I have tried and tired to get money back cancelled before money had left account but shocking customer service only email takes hrs for them to respond a manager to talk to cheap plastic product crappie vacuum expensive mistake which I could not afford

Moonpod vacuum cleaner company is a complete scam. I am a single mother struggling to feed my kids and they refused to take the product back. Their product is a complete failure. Do not buy from them.

This company isn’t one to be relied on!

People who put 5 stars - are bots and elderly people who compare device with other cheap shxxx!

“Trading standard” ( not law enforcement anyway) - aware of them and advices to issue proceedings.

Their full refund statement is completely untrue!
I have been attempting to return my Moonpod purchase as the product is inferior to what was advertised.

Like a lot of people I looked at reviews before purchasing this hoover, it was rated as top so I went ahead. As soon as it arrived I realised my mistake, it instantly felt very cheap. Then I used it and got confirmation that it is indeed an expensive useless item, it sort of picks up ok on my wooden floors but is absolutely awful at picking up dust from my carpets, so pretty useless to me! I have tried to return the item but have got nowhere. My advice to anyone is to STEER CLEAR!

What a disgraceful, company!!! We saw reviews of their vacuum cleaner as the best buy product. This has to have been a sophisticated false review system!? The vacuum cleaner is utterly rubbish. The suction power is pathetic, the battery life is appalling and the dirt collection system doesn't work. JOY in customer services just strings you along with irrelevant questions and asking for videos. For example, she asked if we had a problem picking up cat faeces with the vacuum!!!!??? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY as so SHE has given us no indication of any intention of honouring our request for a refund. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!!
