Friendly and responsive
Joanne and Andrew have been responsive, friendly and informative throughout the process of buying my first home. I could count on them to reply to my questions quickly with detail. And they would do so with a lot of warmth! This mattered a lot for someone new :)
One point of improvement would be their recommendations. I was able to find a surveyor for about £200 cheaper, and there was an issue with the first conveyancer they recommended (though Andrew made a second recommendation to fix this himself!)
But if you're looking for mortgage brokers, I would recommend MF very highly! And Joanne and Andrew in particular. They have been lovely

Andrew was a great help, first meeting told me what he needed from me. Less than a week later mortgage offer sorted. Got full acceptance not that long after. Also thanks to Joanne doing all the background work. Made the mortage process so much easier especially after the mess around we had with the first Mortgage advisor. So glad i used Mortage Focus or we'd have lost the house we have

Approachable, great advice, friendly and not pushy.
Joanne and Andrew were really helpful throughout not just the mortgage process, but also answering all of my questions as a first time buyer of a new build. They advised me on all of my mortgage options, and were happy to spend time exploring each option in detail with me. In the end, they'd found the best rate on the market at the moment, and their affiliation with First Mortgage got me a small bump even lower on that rate.
They offered a range of mortgage protection options, but they were informative and not pushy. In fact they were honest about the products they thought I *did not* need which is appreciated.

Nobody Compares!
This is the second time I've dealt with Jimmy & Joanne at Mortgage Focus. I cannot fault them in any way. They save me money by reminding me when my fixed rate is coming to an end & make sure to find me the best deal available again. Most recently they helped me with a property purchase & again secured a great deal for me (better than what my own bank could offer even though I've been with them for years) all at no cost to me as they get paid by the lender. I've dealt with advisers in the past who will take commission from both!
Thanks again to both of you. I'll be coming back again & again.

Extremely helpful, polite and speedy
Jimmy was so helpful throughout the entire mortgage process. Even when faced with a hiccup or two, Jimmy managed to rectify them and keep us updated throughout the process.
