Update: There usual flippant reply to complaints. I highly recommend you speak with the Local Trading Standards and always do your due diligence and check them at companies house. Here’s what Trustpilot States about this company and how they get reviews.

Tried to buy a car today At the advertised price on auto trader of £6990. Asked about the warranty only to be told that there is a compulsory £199 on top of the price as they have a specially designed package to help customers that are far away from the dealership. I stated i only wanted to pay the £6990 as advertised and that i understand that the warranty should we have any problems we will need to return it to them to have it fixed but not to worry as i will have an AA inspection done, the salesperson went a little quiet then but did manage to say eventually, that this can be done but i still have to pay the £199 otherwise i don't get the warranty or the 12 month MOT. When i stated that in the description it states an oil change service and a 12 Month MOT comes with the car. The salesperson stated that is not the case and that if i go to the website it states this on their, when i again said that i want to buy it through Autotrader, he stated that Autotrader don't allow them to add the Compulsory £199, i stated i just wanted to buy the car at the advertised price and for what was in the description on Autotrader and that surely this was not correct to add extra money that is not in the description and at the same time state that you only get what is described on auto trader if you pay the extra £199. when i said that this seems to be not correct and i don't think this would pass trading standards. This resulted in this person putting the phone down. An interesting move. Please Motor Gurus listen to this call. If this is your policy then i feel sorry for the salesperson having to insist on this as compulsory amount as that would not be their fault. It was an interesting experience, confusing and felt extremely dodgy. You may be able to add a compulsory £199 to the price and then state that what is the description is only given if we pay an extra £199 because it's on your website. I will check this with your local Trading Standards and hopefully draw Autotraders attention to this matter. I repeat please listen to the call and you may gain some understanding why this is very confusing for a customer and it also felt a little confusing for your salesperson.

We have a problem we bought a Skoda in December after 10 days it gave up an electromechanics fault. We contacted a specialist, the repair takes 2 days max. They took the car almost 3 weeks ago. It was reported to the finance. They stubbornly claim that they are repairing and will give the car back. But we pay installments and we haven't had a car for 3 weeks. They don't want to accept the return. Even though they assured that it would last 2 weeks. This is the third and they keep claiming that the car is with a specialist. We were left without a car, transport to work or to school. And they ignore the email or always just say the same thing that the car is at the specialist and it will take a few weeks. I don't recommend it to anyone! It is a thick founded where there are more injured people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND It doesn't matter where the car broke down. It's been 10 days. You gave the cortesy car from 2008. The fear of driving before he did not have a road tax after a week was bought out after asking. And we had to pay for Inshurance out of our own pocket.
