New(used) car from Birtley Motorpoint
This was my third car purchase from Motorpoint. I have part exchanged each time and have always got a good trade in price. On this occasion at Birtley everything went very smoothly with the help of Poppy who was extremely helpful from start to finish. My new(used) car, a Skoda Kamiq, was waiting near the entrance having just been cleaned. I was given a written service book thanks to Poppy which was a bonus. All Road tax , DVLA notifications etc where done there and then . Buying a new car can sometimes be stressful, but thanks to Poppy it wasn’t.

Great, attentive customer service and enjoyable experience.
After spotting the car on the website, myself and my partner decided to visit the store to make sure. We were immediately greeted by a staff member, Kate Smith, on entering the building and, from the point onward, we were given a great experience throughout our visit. Kate was friendly & attentive, whilst also giving us time to look around.
She also involved her manager, during the visit, who was very pleasant & friendly.
Once we had decided upon a purchase, everything to do with the sale was completed in the same bright, informative & enjoyable way.
Thoroughly satisfied with the purchase of the new vehicle and the offer of part exchange for my old car was very much appreciated.

Great Experience
We walked in just to browse, and were given the keys to look at a car with no-one watching over us, or giving us the hard sell which was such a nice change. Once I wanted to discuss the options further, Wayne was there to help and advise, and gave me all the info and options. Wayne has been great from start to finish- even when I forgot a crucial piece of paperwork on collection day!! Everything was so straight forward and the staff there were all really friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be using Motorpoint again in the future.

Everything great until handover then it got tricky but I guess not Motorpoint fault it's ridiculous paying things when you have to do 3 card payments because of set limits on spending

When I first picked up the car there…
When I first picked up the car there was a check engine light on and it was showing the spanner sign but the problem was caused by a replacement battery being fitted and had not been flashed through the system they took it to the onsite workshop and it was reset we then done a 12 mile test run and all was good
The car was presented in A1 Excellent condition I have had it now 4 days and all is good
They give a fair price for a trade in and seem to try to please their customers so I can honestly recommend motorpoint and would definitely consider buying from them again in the future

A great experience from first walking…
A great experience from first walking into the showroom ‘just to look’ friendly knowledgeable staff. Kate Smith was especially helpful, showing us various vehicles, knowing when to approach us and when to leave us to discuss the cars. Once I found ‘my car’ Kate was professional, friendly - a great credit to the company. She respected my wishes to think about it, called me at an agreed time to answer anymore questions and we agreed a test drive date. Purchase of the car was easy, she answered all our questions, we took car for test drive and took it home that day. Thank you.

No concerns, had the car moved up from Derby, assistant kept in contact and kept me up to date throughout. If I’m being picky, on collection the car was outside in the rain sandwiched between 2 cars, loads of space inside at the collection point which would of made the collection more personal and a chance to view the car in the correct light
