Sale of car experience - Very simple, quick process. The online price was honoured. The Sales Executive, Harrison was friendly and efficient.

Was pleased with the car and sales process from Matthew. Price was okay. We picked up the car but it had not been cleaned and there was a drawing on the sunroof of a penis and balls with some rude words. This was quite upsetting. I did report this but never heard anything back!

I sold my car to the Burnley branch last month after getting a online valuation, unfortunately upon arrival my service history was deemed as not valid by the sales staff, it had from new two manufacturers services followed by two local services with receipts for all parts supplied from the main dealers, I was then deducted £700 from the agreed price, shortly after the car was on display for £3,750 more than what I was paid, with also displaying a full service history with all the dates and mileage I had supplied to them but not accepted.
I am a old aged pensioner and took the lower offer on their findings in good faith but was shocked to see how they had then taken advantage of the situation to vastly increase their profit and misled me with the findings, I would strongly recommend customers to be cautious with this company and their tactics and would look elsewhere. Motorpoint have all my details so if any of the above details are incorrect or false please feel free to take legal action against me, I also have screenshots from their website as proof, I would also think Trading Standards or any regulatory board could investigate this.
Update 7th September 2026,
I have forwarded all my details to the Citizens advice bureau who have also sent them to Trading Standards who likewise will now do their own investigations with the evidence I have provided.
I notice my one star review is the only one without a Motorpoint reply, the truth is deafening and they know they are guilty as stated,I will wait another week then pursue legal action, any comments yet?

Faultless from start to finish. Great customer service, excellent price and quick turnaround. Would definitely be using them again

You will always get a great experience at Burnley motor point the staff are very friendly and very helpful. It's full of a good choice of cars in a very clean environment. You can browse at your hearts content without being pestered and get helpful advice when you choose you car. Overall a great experience. And not to forget there's free tea and coffee toilet facilities and wheelchair friendly.
