Desk arrived damaged and no response to emails since
9th May UPDATE since posting this review the company have asked I remove the persons name. So they have seen this review and have still not responded to my emails that the item was damaged and no replacement yet.

I was told that a replacement will be dispatched Friday 30th April and I will receive a tracking link.
No tracking link received and no response from a few emails I have sent.
Awful customer service. What a shame that I have to leave a review to try and get any response as they don’t answer calls or emails.
To the company: Don’t reply saying it’s been was taken over in dec 20 as you have with other recent reviews.
That’s irrelevant as my problems with you are long past this date and current.

Horrible company
Horrible company, they will reply to say order is delayed because of covid but its on its way, they will tell you that delivery date is confirmed now and so sorry about the delay but still nothing and a week later what I enquired about whats going on and where are my good they all of a sudden can not find any email i sent any details about my order or nothing, apparently system is down :) buch of horrible crap!!! I requested a full refund asap but will probably not get it as they do not even answer the phone any more
*Edit- Another lie from this horrible company , no they did not give me w refund - after I requested the refund they have stopped relying to my emails!!! I got my money back from Paypal after I have open a dispute case and Paypal paid me back all the money after they have closed the case in my favour!!! STOP telling lies !!! And no I will not be ordering from you in the future! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I don’t even want give this company even o star rate! Paid more than £500 for a set of furniture Aug last year, nothing delivered, no money refund as they promised, no responding! Don’t use Mr housey, don’t trust them, I am still waiting for my refund! And provided all information they asked many times. Don’t trust them, don’t make any payment by bank transfer!
Mr housey, or Fromthemaker Ltd, let me know when can I have my money back! Don’t just keep silent or send some useless reply here!

Good furniture …
The web site is well layout and easy to use. It has lots of exciting and well-designed furniture at reasonable prices.
The selection of goods is easy. You get an e-mail after ordering to seek payment by BACS or PayPal. I used PayPal to make a credit card payment. You get better protection but not as good as direct payment by a credit card.
This is when it get less professional. After payment, I did not get any acknowledgement or confirmation, which is odd given how well the site was until then.
It took several emails from my wife, but they did respond, saying our furniture would be with us within a week. We then got a courier email informing us of a delivery slot , but just before it was delivered, we got the other email saying it was delayed for a further week. We then got an email from the courier again saying it would be delivered today and bless me the delivery arrived.
This company is not a scam, but it is challenged on getting the sort of fulfilment service you expect. It's a real shame as the goods are well designed and cost-effective.
Overall they could get a 5/5 if they got their good fulfilment and communication better.

Awful experience plus bribery for a good review
EDITED - I have now received the item, only after posting this review and calling and emailing daily. I have just received an email offering to refund me £30 (almost half the cost of the item purchased) to change my review to a positive one...no wonder the reviews are so mixed on here, be very wary of what you trust. I would rather maintain my integrity, something the company clearly isn't too bothered about.
Awful experience. Placed an order on 27th December, didn't receive payment details until 5th January. Paid instantly. Multiple calls and emails later. I was told my order was out to be dispatched on 20th February and would be received within 7-10 days. It is now 18th March and I have left messages and emailed everyday and had no response. Appalling service, so many lies and false promises and now no way of contacting. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

I was actually looking for something to put in my hallway that doesn't take up too much space. I think I made the right choice, it looks great and I finally have some space to display my plants and pictures.

Since posting the below review MrHousey have worked really hard to resolve the issue. The bed was delivered when they said it would be and the quality is lovely. Thank you to Mike for putting so much effort in to fix!
Almost everything about this order has been a nightmare from start to finish. Initially, the bed was delivered to the wrong address by their delivery company, when we rang the delivery driver to ask where he was he accused us of lying and made us drive out the meet him (lucky we do drive) where he’d wrongly delivered to in order to show him where we live (which was where the delivery address said we lived!).
The instructions were not included and I had to chase down an email copy from the company. I had already unpacked everything looking for the manual when I realised that the barriers were not included.
At this point I had no choice but to put up what I had as my son is non verbal autistic and was endangering himself climbing out of his cot. I emailed them and asked for them to send out a bed with barriers (the one we have has not been drilled for barriers and I wouldn’t want to risk damaging the bed drilling the holes myself). They asked if they could do that after Xmas (bed was delivered on the 23/12/2020) and trying to be reasonable I said that was fine.
However it meant that since then my family have all been exhausted as my son is a very active/light sleeper and is constantly falling out and waking up crying. I’ve tried paying out more money to get a temporary barrier but this doesn’t work as it doesn’t go all around the bed.
It’s now nearly 2 months later and a replacement still hasn’t been sent. Four times I’ve been told it will be dispatched, and each time there’s a new excuse, followed by a smiley face!!
We just want what we paid for and you get nothing from these people unless you bombard them with emails. Don’t even bother with the phone, they never answer it!!

"I needed to create a working space at home, as (like probably many people) I am working from home at the moment. This desk seemed like a perfect solution, both affordable with loads of storage. Well, thing couldn't be as perfect
as they seemed. Delivery was delayed a lot (3 weeks) and when my and my hubby got to build it, it looked like it was used before. After long conversations with customer service, we got an agreement that they will refund me 50% and
I repainted it myself. All in all, good customer service however maybe they need to change supplier/delivery guys so items are not coming destroyed?"

They will ask you to transfer money to a bank account rather than paying by card so you have no chance of getting your money back!!!!!!

"I found this set very cute so went for it. And I was right, it fits my daughter's room perfectly, and she's very happy with it as well. However, I am not happy entirely as I found the assembly instructions quite confusing. Especially taking into account how similar both desk and shelving look. It took us a lot of time to put this whole thing together. Not entirely sure if it was our fault or suppliers.
Bottom line is, it's a good quality product and will definitely last long, so we can recommend it."

Ordered a computer desk. Waited for them to organise payment. When email came it indicated direct bank transfer needed to be made. I emailed back and said I wouldn’t pay by that method due to the lack of security it gave me. I’d have been happy to pay by credit card or PayPal (as currently advertised on their site). I didn’t hear anything else from them. When I looked at other reviews it looks very much like I might have avoided being ripped off.
Post response: This review WAS about my shopping experience, i.e.: Order made, not fulfilled, no answer to my email. Perhaps if you responded to emails as quick as you respond to Trust pilot reviews your company would be better regarded!
