When I finally could buy my very own dressing table I couldn't believe I found something so pretty at such a good price. Of course, it couldn't be all perfect. First my delivery was delayed- disappointing. Then, when it finally arrived (2 weeks late) it came without some screws. Can you believe it? As I wanted to start assembly right away, I contacted customer service and they were brilliant. They advised me on what kind of screws is needed, so I went ahead and bought some in a shop, and they reimbursed me on that. So in the end, the whole thing was frustrating (i was very excited for that dressing table), but worth the wait. This table is absolutely stunning!

I bought this desk back in December, and I recommend it. Even though it arrived without instructions, they were sent to me straight away via email, after contacting the team so not much of an issue. It is both simple in look, as well as functional. Has enough space to work in an organised manner which is very important of course. I will definitely be back for more furniture pieces when I will need anything.

Stunning desk. I've been redecorating my office and wanted something modern, in good taste. Assembly was a bit difficult, but as it's not a simple looking desk, it is understandable. I believe I made the right choice, its unique design makes my office look sophisticated. I will definitely be back for more piece.

Please avoid this company - you risk being the victim of a push payment scam. They took our money up front via BACS transfer on 2nd August 2020, failed to deliver the desk ordered within the timescale promised and have failed to refund our £235 despite a cancellation and refund request on 18th Sept. I have referred this to my bank and their Fraud team is investigating. MrHousey were highlighted on an episode of 'Rip Off Britain' (season 12, episode 4) as an example of a company with a polished internet presence but a history of failing to fulfil orders or provide refunds. Please save yourself the stress and avoid the risk of being out of pocket.

UPDATE (in response to the reply below) - I have contacted you no fewer than 8 times via email, including since November, without a reply. I have resent my details once again but I don't have any confidence in your customer service.

I needed a solid, spacious desk for my new office so went with the one made out of oakwood. I love the product, it is trurly made of solid material and very capacious. On the other hand delivery was delayed by about two weeks (which for me was not a problem) but its something to keep in mind when placing an order I guess. I still recommend MrHousey, good quality products and great customer service.

My son needed a new desk, especially now with the whole homeschooling thing. We went with one, mostly because of the flat-top feature, which gives you plenty of extra storage. With smart wire management, as well as even more storage underneath the top, it definitely helps my teenager keep his workspace clean and tidy. Item arrived on time, and assembly took less time than expected. I recommend this desk as much as the company, and will come back for sure if I will need other pieces of furniture.

As I was looking for something to decorate my hallway with, I found this beautiful piece of furniture. I like my interior looking fresh, so choosing this desk was obvious. When I started putting it together, I realised one of the pieces was missing. After contacting customer service (who are brilliant btw), it was forwarded my way right away and I received it after a short period of time. Now that assembly is completed, I can confirm it looks stunning in my hallway, especially with some cute plants on it.

Dreadful service. Ordered a desk for my sons birthday which turned up with one side smashed to bits. Managed to assemble it as my son was expecting it the next morning and hid the damage against the wall. E-mailed photos of the damage asking how they would rectify, as Id assembled it they agreed to offer a percentage refund the next day if I was happy to keep it damaged. Ive chased the refund every week since (its been four now and still nothing). Absolute joke. Avoid.

I like to keep my office in classic style, so went for this desk. I am very happy with my purchase, as it arrived on time and looks exactly like in the picture. It is a bit bigger than expected (yes, i didn't check the measurements correctly) but it's a good thing as I need a lot of space when working. I also really like those hidden little drawers.

When I was ordering this desk, mostly cause it was on sale, I did not expect it to look so nice when I finally put it together! Exactly like pictured, and assembly was easy. I mostly use it when doing my makeup cause it is spacious enough for it. Recommend to anyone needing something a little smaller yet cute.

I bought this beautiful desk as I needed to create a working space for myself. Delivery was delayed, but customer service advised me on that beforehand, so not much of an issue. When it arrived I started assembly right away. It looks very pretty in my home office and has lots of spacious drawers, which is very helpful as I have a lot of documents that need storage.

There's enough said below, yet I felt responsible to warn people from dealing with them. They'll take your money and don't deliver. They'll waste your time with some excuses then stop responding to your emails.
Anyone scammed should not let go, just file a claim online with small claims court to protect others falling in this trap.

I have been scammed by this company. Bought a cot and after months and months of email they replied back for my bank details to send refund only after that no refund was given. It has now been over 5 months
The fact even during this difficult hard time we are all going through there is people out that conning people with there hard earned money.

I ordered a desk early October. It arrived yesterday after a number of emails it did come and looks great. I previously gave a bad review. Times are tough and I hope this business delivers for people who have purchased as it did in the end for me 🙌🙏. I do think they have sent a larger desk but something did arrive.

Just been scammed by this company. Like everyone else I tried the phone numbers, the one on the invoice was dead and the other amateur voice mail. I chassed by email as weeks have gone by and no product.

I just had the below mail asking me to pay again offering me a discount to pay again. I feel angry and stupid as in 10 years of buying online I have never been scammed. AVOID!!!!!!!

The stock of this desks arrives tomorrow or Friday and will be dispatched then.
Meanwhile, I can't see the payment has gone through.

Lovely looking and very solid oak desk. Had to pre-order it but was delivered quicker than expected, easy to assemble & very pleased with it.

Please avoid this scam and do not transfer them any money. I have also fallen prey to this front company, Lasca Ltd, chasing a refund for desks that were ordered more than three months ago - no order materialised, there was no proactive communication and all I got was stalling tactics in periodic replies to my chaser emails. The experience went like this: I was told that the order had been placed and would be delivered about four weeks from the order date; when that date passed I queried the status of the delivery and was told it was delayed and would be with me the following week; this story was repeated several times; on about the third chaser I was told that COVID was to blame for the delays; at about eight weeks I was informed of an IT incident that supposedly meant my order details we’re temporarily inaccessible on their system; a week later the communication suggested my order had not been placed with the supplier in the first place; they ignored my complaint but eventually said they would cancel the order and issue a refund - that was over a month ago and the communication trail has since gone cold. I am now progressing a statutory demand/small claim and have further actions lined up - the fact they have ignored my warnings at every turn is telling. This looks to be operating some form of fraud, trying to con customers out of their money and take advantage of the pandemic - I really question the odd positive review posted on here when there is a catalogue of misery indicated from c.36% poor reviews, and it is incredible that they have an active registered business at Companies House.

This is a scam company! They took payment on 11th October, I heard nothing until I chased them up multiple times. Finally they promised delivery by 11th November. Nothing arrived and they have not returned any further correspondence.
