Truly awful! No customer service whatsoever. Ordered a desk back in September with a 10 day delivery promise and guess what, still waiting! Numerous emails which they take days to reply to. Phone numbers don’t work! After numerous emails, Was promised delivery between 10-17th November and still nothing! Now asking for a refund if not delivered before 20th November. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!
UPDATE# asked for refund before Christmas, one reply asking for bank details within few days and then nothing. My husband has forwarded this onto our solicitor who will be persueing this matter now to recoup our money and costs. Could have so easily have been resolved by refunding and replying to my husbands emails! This so called company are nothing short off criminals !

We ordered the solid oak ALVA desk. Very happy with the quality of the desk. It was easy to put together and looks great. It arrived within the stated timeframe. No issues whatsoever.

My poor mum ordered a cot from this company, excited for her first grandchild! Mr Housey had the cheek to add into an email that he will make the experience special!
Order placed early September however no cot received. The blame placed on Covid, yet there has been reduced restrictions in place for months so I do not believe this excuse.

I looked through the emails, how my mum paid and the lack of communication after payment. Sadly, my mum has been scammed and we are without a cot for our baby due in less than two months. Mr Housey is aware that there is almost no legal protection for customers who pay via bank transfer, he is a con artist.

Disgusted.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We ordered a house bed for our daughter MONTHS ago, and we were told it would be dispatched the following Friday. When we received nothing and no contact we emailed several times to no response, sent messages via Instagram and twitter and after a couple of weeks we eventually we got a response to say the bed was delayed and would be dispatched the following week and that he would contact us to arrange delivery. Another 2 weeks went by. Nothing. HE never responds to our emails, is impossible to contact and we are still £250 down without a bed. We were advised through our bank to go to CAB which we did and they have given us email templates to send, the first of which he responded to, to advise that our bed had now arrived in the country (months after we were supposed to receive it) did we want a refund still or the bed. We responded saying refund and 3 weeks later NOTHING! Really wish we had read these reviews before ordering. Mikal is a fraud and should have his website taken down.

The bed looks great

I bought and paid for a desk over a month ago. After initial friendly correspondence over email, I now can’t get a reply and have had nothing delivered. None of the numbers on the website work. Please don’t be tempted to use this company. It seems that too many people are experiencing what I am. How disappointing and dishonest.

Unfortunately, we are going through a similar experience to lots of people writing reviews about Mrhousey. Do not fall into the same trap...
We ordered a bed for our 3 year old on July 31st 2020, website and still says fast dispatch 5-10 days, and here we are 11 weeks later with no bed and all our emails are being ignored.
After purchase they emailed to say product would be 4-6 weeks, which we accepted. We chased 6 weeks later, they said 10-14 days to dispatch. We chased 20 days later, they estimated dispatch in 5 days. They then contacted us 6 days later saying dispatch in 10 days. We chased 2 weeks later and received a generic email, 4 days after chasing, saying they would get back to us within 24hours with an update. This was on 6th October, and we haven't heard anything since.
Their phone number goes straight to voicemail, and we have left messages, tried emailing and filled out their online form. We have requested a refund and have not heard anything back. We have since reported to our bank, action fraud and citizens advice.
Do not purchase from them, it is unbelievable that they are able to maintain a website as others must also be falling for the same scam.

Worst Company ever experienced, they never deliver your products and reply to your emails

I can’t give it less than a star so that will have to do. Purchased in April here we are 6 months later nothing received and still no refund! I can’t believe these people can still operate as a business! I really hope no one else falls in to this trap.

We have not received our product, nor our refund. We have ordered and paid for a changing table/dresser for our baby; 8 weeks ago to be delivered in 4 weeks. The company has held onto our cash for over 2 months now and the product is a month past its promised delivery date. After telling the company that we'll take them to court, they finally replied and offered us an option to refund as the delivery would be even later. We requested a refund over a week ago and have not heard from the company since. The company barely answers any emails, their phone number goes straight to a messaging service from which our calls are never returned and their physical address on file is a virtual office. We have finally taken the matter to court. Even more lamentable than the cash that they are holding onto is the whole excruciating process of trying to get a hold of them, delivery date constantly getting postponed with no solution in sight, seeing our baby's nursery incomplete in a time that we wanted to look forward to his arrival next week. No mother nor person should have to go through this sort of treatment/process from a retail store.

We have also have had our money stolen by this terrible company, as they have not processed a refund. I have now reported it to trading standards and have someone legal onto it who will also add their costs - PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY

We took a risk and paid for shelves to their bank. We received them a few days later. We are pleased with our shipping experience with mrhousey and will return soon.

We ordered Daisy Complete Nursery Set. It arrived a week late and we had to contact mrhousey again as there were missing items. (mattress, bookcase)
They apologised and fixed the issues 2 weeks later. Furniture looks much better than on the pics.

We ordered a set of 4 Vasa chairs in Sesame Cover. They arrived in 2 weeks so mrhousey fulfilled the promise.
They are well made and great quality. It is not easy to put the covers on the chairs. We had a bit of struggle with that.

We ordered a scandi TV stand from mrhousey. I am delighted with this. The colour and oak legs are perfect match for my room.

Bought Alva. Was concerned to pay with the bank but they sent us a payment link for my VISA. Desk arrived well packed within on the agreed date.
It looks better than on the pics and I do not regret my choice. I will be recommending mrhousey to my friends.

Desk was supposed to come up in a few days but it took almost 4 weeks to come. Mrhousey appologised for the issues and delay and offered us some compensation we accepted and agreed not to cancel the order. We are happy with value received for money we paid!

We bought Alva desk a few weeks ago. From the beginning I found very good communication, quick and informative on all questions that I had. Very pleased with service. Item arrived within defined timeframe.

I recently wrote a review reflecting the nature of the company and received an email from Trust pilot explaining it has been temporarily moved offline!

This has really annoyed me, MrHousey has been ignoring the daily messages they receive from me but have time to report my review! I want my money back, what is taking so long?? I have sent you have my account details on several occasions! I will be sharing screenshots of my messages with them in my next review but please do not waste your money by purchasing from them. I am in the process of filing for a CCJ.

I ordered a desk from this company that was later confirmed to be out of stock. The order was placed on 29 June. It is now 7 August and no refund has been issued despite daily chasers and email. Appalling service and you can not contact by phone. Disgraceful behavior in such difficult times. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE.
