The quiz felt good, until you pay and get the app. The style sessions don’t even have a time zone listed. This is why I shouldn’t be making purchases late at night!! Fortunately I was able to cancel the next subscription…

They are charging my card after I canceled

I went through all the 30+ questions and I was excited to see what they thought would be a good boho look for me. Then, they wanted payment before I even saw any clothing! Hell No!

Should have checked this place out better. Can’t even get into the app to cancel anything. As soon as I can I will disputing the charges

I thought that this was a reliable site on Facebook and I was very interested in seeing what the stylist would come up with. I did not like the fact that as I was going through the steps to register that I would be taken to a page to download the Lumi app. I was not interested but was unable to get out of the page. SCAM all the way! I want my money back.

SCAM their name is listed 3 different ways as I looked to complain: mybeauty.place, mycapsule.place and TITLE. I thought this was a clothing service, like StitchFix but now know it is only advice.
Update: on March 8, a customer service person from mycapsule.place wrote to me, canceled my subscription and refunded me my $6.99. I was very happy about that, but she also had the company name Lumi next to her in parentheses and the refund came from a 5th company, Evertech, Inc. Today I received another emails from TITLE saying I will be charged $29.99 tomorrow. I hope this situation is resolved but I am not sure yet. I also don’t understand why there are now 5 company names!

SCAM with capital FRAUD. Took information not even given .

Unfortunately I didn’t do my due diligence. $11 lesson for me. Hoping they won’t take any further monies from me.
Great concept, bad business. They tried to upsell overpriced services. Terrible customer service

Sgt Beautyplace. wish I only lost one dollar! They charged me $39.99. I thought I was buying clothing products and then saw that it was only fashion “advice”. I never used the advice. I immediately requested a refund and cancelled but they refused to refund. Horrible customer service. I feel like I was robbed.

Fraudulent company. Don’t waste your time or money. The website does not work. They fought me for 3 hours when I asked for a refund. They wanted me to do intense technical things in order to correct their glitchy website. I never gained access to the site and the entire experience was a HUGE headache - and all for $7. They offered to refund me .50. They’re ridiculous and their service is NOT AT ALL WORTH IT. Don’t do it to yourself. You’ve been warned.
I have pics for proof.
Update: These weirdos are emailing me at my work email asking for my credit information to locate my account. So. I will seek legal action for whatever predatory practices they are attempting. I never shared that information with them. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

MYBEAUTY.COM and LUMI READ THE DETAILS... IMMEDIATELY AFTER SIGNING UP MY CARD WAS HIT WITH OVER 10, TEN, $0.99 TRANSACTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS COMPANY. MY BANK CAUGHT THESE AND ALERTED FRAUD DEPARTMENT WHO REFUSED THE TRANSACTIONS AND IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED ME.
DOES THIS ANSWER YOUR QUESTION? BTW....NO REFERENCE NUMBER, NO CONTACT INFO FOR YOUR COMPANY EVER PROVIDED.
It's an absolute scam. DO NOT GIVE ANY CREDIT INFORMATION. MY BANK ALERTED ME IMMEDIATELY FOR FRAUD ALERT. They ran multiple (10) 0.99 transactions on my card. I've canceled my card, now have to go get another and update all my auto pay. I will also dispute the initial charge of $18.99 and my bank will report this to federal fraud agencies. Absurd.
NEVER EVER TRUST FACEBOOK ADS, PERIOD.

You pay a dollar for generic info. “Summer /spring colors of 2023” it’s already oct 31st. That information is pointless. I thought they’d give me outfit ideas. No. They gave me worthless information. Not even worth a dollar. They do a beauty quiz … knowing my size, body Shape hair/eye color and gave me nothing. There was no point in the quiz. It’s a Scam. They use my beauty.place and send you over to “lumi” app. Let me stress this is POINTLESS!! Not worth a dollar. Look at their responses to other reviews they say nonsense like “transparency “ and “authorized by user” I had a 3 day trial period. I cancelled within 5 minutes. Worthless business. Google “fall 2023 trends” and you’ll get more help than them. DONT PAY THE DOLLAR TRIAL

It's a scam! They tell you that you can get a personalized capsule for 1 USD, but in the end, you get subscribed to their non-existing services without knowing how much you will pay. Their T&Cs tell that you have no rights and they are not supposed to provide you with any customer support, and that you agree to the subscription even if you don't get anything. Note that they have a lot of duplicate sites because their TrustPilot scores are really low.
They have:
mybeauty.place
mycapsule.place
getlook.pro
mybeautybox.style
and many more

SCAM.
After I finished answering all the questions for a “clothes style test” that would supposedly give me the results immediately, the website said I would only get them after paying $0.99. I did so, but instead of receiving them I got an email asking me to create a username, download the app, etc. and still no results as promised in the beginning, so I decided to contact the company to get a refund (yes, for that amount —but it’s about the principle.)
So I looked for the receipt of my payment and saw that it was a RECURRENT payment. Luckily I realised immediately and cancelled it right away.
The company refused to give me a refund saying that I should have read the “Money Back Guarantee Policy”. What a joke! They were not so transparent when luring me into answering all those questions and asking for my money for the supposed results that I never saw in the end. That policy was hidden somewhere else on their website and they know people do not go looking for it when asked to pay a dollar for a clothing test result.
Luckily I got in touch with Paypal customer service, gave them all the details, the emails and the screenshots of all the things I could retrieve, and I could finally get my refund through them.
Do not fall for these scammers!

It's bulls***! You pay only 0,99$, but you automatically subscribe to a plan and after 3 days you are charged 25$.
I did cancel on time, thank god. Also, when you try to get the refund they will not respond directly to what you asked.
If you paid with PayPal cancel the automatic payments right away, don't just cancel on your profile settings. It might not be enough.
Another thing is if you paid with PayPal, asked them the refund directly. Send them prints about the website, the reviews, explain exactly what happened. You are much more likely of getting the refund with them.
