Well I’m making this review pretty much a whole year later after purchasing it because I just received an email from them saying to give them another try, and it just reminded me why I immediately stopped my subscription with them and chose to stop using them. Anyway, when I first used the Billie razor, it did just what it said it’d do in smoothness, I’d have to go over one spot only once and no more. It for sure gave smooth skin....HOWEVER, the aftermath gave bumps as if it was bedbug bites (and I know it wasn’t bedbug bites because it didn’t occur until I used the razor) and left my skin itchy on my legs I never experienced razor bumps on my legs before, it was weird..it’s really bad. It’s unfortunate because it does give great smooth skin, but it leaves crazy bumps afterwards and it took me awhile to get my legs back to normal and remove black marks from the bumps. This was caused even while using shaving cream. I gave it 2 stars because it made skin really smooth, but overall I don’t recommend.

Don't buy!!!!!
Used it for the first time tonight and immediately threw it all in the trash. Where it belongs. I immediately can feel bad razor burn which is very unpleasant and never this bad in years. The quality reminds me of the dollar razors you buy from the store. Also being a new blade, it missed quite a bit. A complete waste of money.

I ordered two starter kits
I ordered two starter kits on Jan 9th and it's been over two weeks and both haven't arrived yet. I'm tracking the order being send to Fort Worth for my mom and it tells me the package has been sent to the same Grapevine Packing Facility FOUR times. Billie clearly spends a lot on marketing and can't find a reliable shipping company this is a joke.

I had no choice but to give a one star or they would have got zero. I ordered the razor kit on the 20th of November. Still not here. They claim it was shipped. The shipping company they use it garbage. Good companies don't use the service billie does because of the delay in shipping it out. It's a joke. I would pass in the razor kit. Schick Silk Razors do a very good and smooth job.
Nothing special and terrible shipping
So the first time I ordered from Billie I never got my package or it got lost idk. This was when the post office was kinda crazy and I gave the company the benefit of the doubt. I contacted them and they sent me a new starter kit which got to me super quick. I ordered my refill razors on the 1st of October and still have yet to receive them. I was never given a tracking number just that I would get them by the 8th- 15th. I waited it out and even waited 5 more days for there to be nothing. I emailed the company a few days ago. The response I got was that they switched the packaging and it could take 7-14 days to get to me. And I should just wait it out until the 22nd of October. Okay well I waited 7-14 days and there was nothing but you want me to wait 3 weeks even though it’s supposed to be there in 1-2 weeks? They didn’t fix it when I first contacted so I’ve had to email them again and I’m hoping for something to be fixed faster than 2 weeks. Please order from a different company. There isn’t anything special about Billie that is worth the hassle of their shipping mess.

I purchased the starter kit and the shave cream. It shipped out in a kinda timely manner due to the pandemic slowdown. As a test I put the cream on my arms which has very fine hair. It was very silky and thick the blade went over smooth and had a close shave. However when I used it on thick course hair(pubic) it did not have the same results. The cream was so thick it didn’t come off with the 1st swipe and I couldn’t see if the area was clean. So I swiped blindly several more times and that’s when it nicked my outer vag(OUCH!!!!). The hair was still stubble but I obviously had to stop because of the bleeding. The rate of hair growth was the same as my intuition razor, very rarely have nicked myself with intuition. Cleaning was pretty easy even with the thick shave cream I was able to run under water to clear the clogged blades. In conclusion I will continue to use on areas with fine and less hairy, but I’m sticking with veet hair removal cream for my private area.
Amazing razors
Amazing razors. I love these razors, they leave my skin feeling really soft even if i don’t use shaving cream. I like the little holder it comes with too. I’ve never had a problem with shipping and my razors always arrive on time. I also love their compostable packaging as i’m trying to reduce the amount of trash i produce. Would definitely recommend these razors though, all around quality razors and very affordable.
No tracking number given
I don't understand why there is no tracking number with my order. I received an email when my refills were sent out telling me there is no tracking number but they should arrive by September 8. I emailed customer service about seeing if my order was still in transit and the email I got back basically said that the type of shipping has been changed and I should wait another week because of Covid . Nothing was said about if the order is still in transit or was delivered. I have no problem with waiting at all but I don't like not having a tracking number for my order. Now I have no idea if my order has been delivered and possibly stolen or if it's still in transit. I do really like Billie products but don't want to deal with the hassle of not having an actual tracking number.

I subscribed originally in June and was really excited because I had heard about this service so much from some of my favorite podcasters. When my first shipment arrived, I didn't receive the actual handle for the razor, only the refillable heads. That day, I send a really nice email to their customer service line with a picture of the order I received. I was just asking for the handle, not a refund or anything. I didn't get a response. I emailed two weeks later, no response. One month after my original email, I emailed again and asked for them to cancel my subscription. No response and no cancellation occurred. I then emailed one week after that, no response. I messaged their instagram account, no response. I called their customer service line, and it doesn't get you connected to anyone. I feel like they just get you to sign up for a subscription then never help you or work with you again, so they can keep getting the recurring payment. There is no option to cancel online, you have to speak with them to cancel. But now it's been months and that's clearly not happening. Super frusterated at their non existent customer service.
Poor Customer Service
I have a monthly shave plan subscription and I just recently added an additional handle to my order. When I received my monthly shipment the handle wasn’t included in my package, instead was an travel case so I emailed the company because there’s no phone number that you can call given the pandemic. That was in June and it is now about to be August and I still haven’t received a response back. I’ve emailed multiple times and nothing. The lack of response is the issue and I will 100% be canceling my subscription And will not recommend this company to anyone.
Unacceptable
I purchased a razor and shaving cream a month ago. Received tracking information a week later and still haven’t received the package. Contacted the company by email since they do not offer other options and did get a response saying if shipping details were not updated within 24 hours, let them know. I’ve emailed them 3 additional times since and never heard back. Completely acceptable. I would not recommend this company.
Placed an order, paid and still haven't gotten it months later
I placed an order back in may and still haven't gotten it. I found out through my orders tracking number that the order was stuck on Bloomington, ca and emailed designated email to give them a heads up and sent a screenshot. I didn't hear anything back and since I've sent 3 emails and still nothing. At this point I am more annoyed about the lack of response. Terrible customer service and based off this experience I wouldn't recommend the brand to anyone. The worst thing is I've already paid.

Unexpectedly good
I bought the subscription sometime last year on a whim, because I'd been seeing a lot of ads about it. However, this $9.80 has turned out to be very well-spent. I've only used Dollar Shave Club razors and other miscellaneous ones we have lying around the house, but no matter which razor and how new it was, I always, always, always nicked my knees. And anybody knows a razor nick HURTS. Bad. So imagine my surprise when the Billie razor didn't make a mess out of my knees or make a single injury on me. And now, using the same razor and razor head after months and months of disuse (yes, I know, not a good idea), it didn't cut me - in fact, I did a whole body shave and it was shockingly smooth. It was so good I had to come on here and leave a review. So, kudos to Billie for making an exceptional razor. I hate the way the aloe (or whatever it is) on the head gets sticky and gross, but that hasn't worsened the actual use of the razor, so I can ignore that. Plus, they let me push back the refill date like... practically an entire year. Soo I'm eager to get another refill later when my extra razor head starts getting dull.
They aren't bad
They are pretty razors for a good price but they dull at the same speed as Kroger brand that I had been using before. I like the magnetic holder.
