Pathetic "wannabe service".
Pathetic "wannabe service".
When I called them once for replacing braking pads, they've said that they are not in stock and waiting would be 2-3 (yes, two to three) months, and they priced pads only for market price x 2.5.
When I asked them if they can replace braking pads supplied by me (ordered officially from supplier with fully matched partnumbers) they said "oh no, we do not fit with supplied parts".
So, their business is to resell parts with ridiculous prices.

I usually service my 2010 RAV4 at Toyota, but the last 3 times I went to My Car. Each visit resulted in repair estimates close to $2,000—even though I kept asking for a full inspection to avoid repeat costs. Most major parts have already been replaced, yet I’m always told something else is worn.
On the third visit, I couldn’t justify another $2,000 and chose to go with just a basic service. It’s emotionally draining to keep investing this way with no clear end. I understand cars age, but relying only on human judgment—without clear diagnostics—leaves too much room for error or cautious overestimation.
I even thought about selling the car, but was told it’s only worth around $8,000. However, Toyota later advised me not to sell—that it’s still a good, reliable vehicle. The mixed messages only add to the confusion and loss of confidence.
I’m sharing this because I value honest service. I just want a more transparent, system-based approach that builds trust—not just another big bill.
