Absolute trash

I am only giving them a 1 star because it won't allow me to give 0.
They have consistently refused to deliver a package, I believe the driver simply doesn't want to carry it up the stairs so says "couldn't deliver." I have been at my apartment to ring people in, or even help carry it, for 3 days, and they've said they've tried for 3 days to deliver and have failed. This is impossible as every other package gets here fine. I know the ringer works. I know it's easy to find. They're choosing not to deliver.
Their customer support doesn't exist. I can't get through to anyone, I've tried chat bot requests, sent emails, called, and there is no way to speak to a human being to actually solve my problem.
This is, by a wide margin, the worst delivery experience I've ever had.

Parcel up take it to there main centre from there it goes all over the place then to your regional office then you finally get it WHY

An Absolute S**t Show Company

I quake in trepidation every time I order online & the courier is Hermes. The latest debacle occurred after my Amazon order arrived later than expected & then the delivery was advertised on the site as having been "...handed directly to the customer", when it had actually been dumped at my front door & left there. I was inside at the time & heard no doorbell.

DELIVERIES CLAIMED THEY ATTEMPTED BUT DID NOT.

Hermes aka Evri claim that they have tried to deliver an order of Puppy pads no less than 5 times but need more information. Firstly they made absolutely no attempt to make delivery as witnessed by my CCTV footage and having contacted there customer services 4 times now I have still not heard back from them. Why anyone uses this delivery service beats me.

I can only reiterate the majority of reviews to date that Hermes / Ervi is the worst delivery company I have ever experienced. The only positive, if one can regard it as a positive, is that it is consistently consistent in its appalling service, always compounded by blatant lies i.e. saying it “attempted delivery”, when then is incontestable evidence that no attempted delivery was made.

Like other Reviewers, I am now going to boycott Retailers that use this Company as its ‘chosen’ Delivery/ Courier Company - indeed, that was the actual constructive suggestion of the Courier when my parcel was eventually delivered.

A name change of the Company does not solve the systemic failings, and inept management nor the arrogance of the CEO

Let this be a warning to anyone else…

Let this be a warning to anyone else who maybe having a item handled by this outfit. If hermes are the courier company dealing with your order. Then shop elsewhere, that does not ship with them. They are absolutely horrendous & unprofessional. They lie, and the goods don't get delivered. In future I will not fall fowl of this useless outfit & wait for the day when hermes go under.

How Hermes are still in business is beyond me.

I was waiting for my parcel for three weeks and yesterday I found out through the seller that the parcel got returned back to them, broken. Before I found that out, and like a mug, I was back and fourth with Hermes trying to locate this bloody parcel; in the end, I sent a message to the CEO as I just couldn't get hold of anyone to speak to. The response back from that email was something along the lines of... 'they decided not to read it' or 'act upon it'. Utterly ridiculous! They just do not care, and I do honestly think they have just become to complacent as a company.

Waiting since June 5

Hermes have had my package since the 5 of June. For the last 8 days it has been 'due by 8pm' no tracking information, clearly lost. Has not arrived. Zero stars

Safely Delivered.

Had my parcel delivered by Hermes today, I wasn't in at the time, the delivery chap placed it in a secure place. How do I know this? I came back as he was delivery to a neighbour. I got to my house and the parcel was inside my door. Our courtyard is a safe place to leave parcels outside the front door but the delivery chap wasn't to know that and so secured it. Can't be faulted for this reason.

Delivery driver supposedly came at 8.14pm at night the picture he used looks to me to be his trouser bulge not that it was a big one but still now it's been days nd still hasn't arrived company's getting terrible for this kind of stuff it's getting to the point when I see hermes or evri I just don't bother ordering but on this occasion I really had and and low and behold nothing hut a nightmare

Avoid this company like the plagueHermes are aof liars

Hermes are a bunch of liars, they said they attempted delivery on 15th June that was a lie, I contacted them and they emailed me admitting that my parcel was not on the delivery vehicle and I couldn't get help from the supplier because the tracking stated that they had attempted delivery. My order of some wire fencing has arrived today but unfortunately I had to go and buy some elsewhere because I needed it for the weekend so that I could keep my 2 small dogs from getting onto the road whilst my garden fence was being replaced. I will NEVER again buy from a company who use Hermes for delivery. In my opinion they should be closed down and any company who uses them deserves to loose all their customers. WORST DELIVERY COMPANY IN THE WORLD.

Parcel held two weeks by courier

Very poor parcel was held for two weeks by courier then when he eventually delivered he constantly called to ask where to leave the Small package despite already agreeing a safe place. Not the first time this has happened. Not recommended 😩

I got an email saying that delivery was attempted, yet I was home awake waiting for it, no one rang the bell or made any kind of noise. I think they just arrive at the location, take a picture, and move on to the next destination. This is the worst delivery company after DHL

Absolutely abysmal, again!

Ordered something which was supposed to arrive the 13th, but that slipped to the 14th. I waited in all day as the Hermes tracking number said it was "out for delivery" until at 8pm it changed to delayed, then to say it would be with us 15-19th! What was on their van all day?! So I've got to stay in, potentially until the 19th, for them to turn up - I daren't let them come and not be here, as you'll see below...

This isn't the first time. A few years ago we had no heating in the house, there was thick snow on the ground, and my mother was badly ill, so a friend kindly ordered us a portable radiator. An urgent item, as you can imagine. Hermes managed to lose the first one and the replacement they managed to deliver to completely the wrong address, claiming they'd knocked (they hadn't, I was here all day as a carer), and left a note saying it was with a neighbour. They didn't say which neighbour, it wasn't either side as we checked. Hermes' customer support was atrocious, showing absolutely no interest in helping nor any sympathy for having lost something so vitally urgent. It was only by luck that it turned out they'd left it five doors away and the person who had taken it in knew us and dropped it by, Hermes had no record of what number they'd left it at!

I'm surprised this company is still in operation and hasn't been sued into bankruptcy for gross negligence long ago. Avoid at all costs.
