Unreliable

Now trading under Little Echo Shop on Facebook, presumably because of sudden decline in being able to fulfil orders and negative reviews being left under this name.

Order placed 28th May. I had to constantly chase them until finally received partial delivery today (18th June) minus 4 items. It's so frustrating. They will not accept any responsibility at all or own their mistakes. They also acted extremely defensively and said I was being negative when I recommended, on their Facebook page, that people don't use them. They also delete negative comments from their Facebook page (I have screenshots). They appear to think that it's fine to take your money and that you shouldn't complain because they're a small company trying their best!

So I now have to try and get the rest of my order sent, or get a refund. Not hopeful.

I'll be hunting for another eco friendly, but reliable, company.

Great products crap postage

Great products, lush smell. Postage is crap. Told me my order had been delivered with a photo of where it was delivered. The photo was actually an order I placed after the missing order. Still waiting on the missing order

I wish I read the reviews before I…

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered! I was sent the wrong items and 1 item was missing after waiting a while for delivery. I have emailed them but concerned to read reviews that emails are ignored. I will wait a few days and request a refund from my bank

UPDATE I agreed to allow the company to resend my order and still not received anything on the 5th July. I can only say to avoid this company which is really hard for me as I always try to shop with small independent companies. Will try to claim my money back via my bank.

Missing items

I recently ordered a number of items from the website which took longer to arrive than expected based on the estimated delivery date, but this wasn't a major issue. When they arrived I found that two of my items were missing, one of which had 'returned' written next to it on the invoice. I emailed and got a very prompt response from customer services who apologised, and asked if I would prefer a refund or the items to be sent out. I chose the latter, and they responded saying it would be sent out very soon first class postage. It was over two weeks until I got an email confirming it had been sent. When it arrived I opened the package to find one of the items still missing and again 'returned' next to the item on the invoice. I emailed again, got a reply the next day and requested again that the missing item be sent out. They confirmed this would happen and I checked the website to ensure the product wasn't out of stock, and it was still showing as available which it was. A few days later I got an email saying an order had been generated for both missing items (when I was only missing one now), but this was followed straight after by a cancellation email. I assume I've been refunded but there was no email from customer services advising me of this, so I don't know, but for the sake of a few pounds I can't be bothered to keep chasing it. I hate leaving negative reviews especially for small, independent companies, and the products I received were brilliant, but it's been six weeks from the initial order until now chasing missing items, one of which was the reason I placed the order in the first place. I totally understand that things slip through the net but it's disappointing. I hope with some of the changes that are happening, this improves the issues with service, as I'd be reluctant to order again.

Delayed delivery again!

Love your products but your shipping is a joke. I would prefer to pay an extra £2-£3 for delivery than to wait weeks for my items. You take peoples hard earned money then weeks down the line they are still waiting for their order. I emailed and was told to wait another 48 hours for you to contact Evri and guess what? No one got back to me.
I ordered from a rival company on Wednesday and the order came on Friday. I paid £3 delivery by Royal Mail. So it can be done!! You have now lost a my business down to your appalling delivery. I thought I would give you another chance as my first order was also delayed. I’m afraid you have now lost my custom.

Delivery is terrible

Terrible. I made an order, over one week later it's not even dispached yet. No answers to emails or any updates on Hermes, it has been sitting on 'we are waiting for it' , for a week now. I was very excited to try eco friendly products but once I get my money back or if I am lucky enough to get my delivery eventually, I will not buy again. It shouldn't be so difficult to get few products delivered

We are now looking into this issue for you. However, please bear in mind that our current dispatch time is 2-3 business days. Your order MET-247065 was placed on 09/06/2022 and would have been handed to Evri on Wednesday 15/06/2022. A scan in hasn't occurred on their side just yet. However, as per communication from my colleague Lucy this morning we have sent an investigation request to them.

Wonderful products and smell…

Wonderful products and smell incredible. Eco friendly products and packaging. Delivery times are a bit long but can’t complain when it’s free over a certain spend.

Dissatisfied

I've wanted to become more eco friendly and use sustainable products for some time so when I first tried Little Eco with a free sample I was really pleased. It took a while to actually receive my order and when I enquired I was told that it was because the courier had delayed it. I gave them another go a few weeks later but my second order took ages to get to me again and was missing 3 items. I ended up sending them numerous emails, all of which were ignored until I threatened to take it up with PayPal. Then I got an email saying they had replied and to look in my spam folder. I did and guess what...no emails. Anyway a few emails later they confirmed they would send the replacements but on the order confirmation, they ordered the wrong item! Had to email them again to correct. It then took more than 48 hours to get a dispatch email and I'm still waiting for my products that I paid for weeks ago. I stupidly did an extra order as I really wanted to give them a chance but low and behold it looks like I will have to wait ages for that one too. Such a shame as if they communicated properly and sent the items out in the 48 hours they state then I would have become a regular shopper with them.
ALSO...what are they actually called...?? Emails say My Little Eco Shop and on the site the name is Little Echo. Doesn't come across as very professional.

Like others I have not received my order. They are quick to take my money nearly 4 weeks ago. Several emails later and still no order. Asked for my money back but shock horror no reply. Now getting emails they are closing. Stay well clear. Wish I had read the reviews

Fed up

It took just under 3 weeks for me to receive my order, only for the main thing I wanted to be missing. I raised this with them and was advised the correct item would be with me as soon as possible. 10 days later I asked for an update and they said it was delayed with the courier... Only then a few minutes later I received an email confirming my replacement order.
So rather than honestly advising me that it was missed, they tried to pass the fault to the courier.
Last order my dry shampoo had opened and spilled everywhere and I wasted most of it from that but I didn't bother complaining as I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt but I really can't cope when people pass the blame.
Mistakes are easily made, owning them makes a huge difference.

I can see that there was no replacement order issued for your order MET-249115 as this was not delayed. However, I can also see that our team have created a replacement order on our system for a missing deodorant for you.

As we are a small team and our facility is closed over the weekend so the replacement order of the deodorant will be fulfilled Today for you with Next Day Delivery.

I am going to contact you now from support@mylittleecoshop.com to arrange to add the dry shampoo for you as well into this replacement order created as we believe you should get the damaged item sent to you as an apology.

This company is a joke..

This company is a joke... I requested a refund over 2 weeks ago for 8 items I'd never recieved, due to it taking such a long time and me reading other reviews with a similar experience... I said to forget sending the products, just give me my money back... 2 week's later I've recieved 6 of the 8 items I ordered 5 weeks ago, 2 items had been replaced for similar products without me being notified when actually I'd asked for my money back and 2 of the items never even turned up in the box without any refund being noted on the invoice...
So they can't even get the orders right that they do satisfy.
Don't waste your time ordering from here.

Constructive criticism

This was my 2nd order from My Little Eco Shop. I really wanted to support a small business and try out new environmentally friendly products. 1st order was fine. This time I ordered 3 products and received a dispatch email a week later. Another week went by and the tracking still said 'we are expecting it'. It was a bank holiday weekend and I understand these things can happen. I emailed just to check that everything was OK with my order. I received a speedy reply apologising and asking me to get back in touch if nothing arrived the following day. It didn't, so I email again and they speedily replied and said they would dispatch a replacement as soon as possible. Another week went by and nothing had arrived and I had no dispatch confirmation or tracking number. I got in touch again and 10 minutes later I had an email from the delivery company saying the sender was dispatching the order to them. I didn't receive any response from My Little Eco Shop. 2 days later and my delivery arrived with 1 item missing. The delivery label was also dated 31st May which was the original date it was supposed to be dispatched. It seems to me that someone has just put this to one side and forgotten to drop it off. I emailed straight away to advise them off the missing item and asked for a refund for that 1 item. To be fair, I did get a refund confirmation email fairly soon after that, but no apology or direct reply from them. I think it's important to feedback to a business and this is what I'm doing. Customer service is everything! No, it wasn't an issue that I had to wait, I don't mind if I then actually receive the products I have paid for. I just think a bit of communication, and thought for the customer, would have made this whole experience much better. As it is, I've been put off ordering from them again.

Don't bother

Great range of products. However, my order wasn't actually shipped when they said it was so arrived about a week later than expected (at no fault of the courier company). Also I ordered 5 products. When I opened the box, one was marked as refunded on the delivery note, one was marked as returned (not sure what that meant as I hadn't received and returned it?) and another had an alternative shipped in a different scent that I wouldn't have ordered. At no point had I been advised of these changes to the order. The lip oil had leaked through the paper bag it was in and all over the cardboard case of the deodorant stick, making it sticky, oily and making the card disintegrate slightly. Out of the 5 items I ordered, 3 were received, one in the wrong scent, and another with the packaging damaged due to the leak of another. Only one product received was what I wanted and in the condition it should be

I placed an order with them 5 weeks…

I placed an order with them 5 weeks ago. I told them after 2 weeks that I still hadn’t received it. They then replied quickly saying they would send it again. Another week had passed and I still hadn’t received it so I emailed them again. They apologised and said they would try again. When it got to a month I decided I would like a refund. I have since emailed many times asking for a refund but now I can’t get hold of them. I would have loved to support this business but now I definitely do not recommend as I can’t get hold of them to get my money back

Abysmal customer service

Abysmal customer service, they can't even communicate with each other so have no hope when it comes to communicating with their customers.
This was my second order with them, the first went mostly smoothly apart from not including the free gift as part of the discount code I used - wasn't too bothered as it was free anyway and there was a note on the packing slip to say it would be included with the next order.

Placed an order a month or two later as a birthday gift, emailed them when placing the order to ask that the free gift was included but was told my order had already been picked so wouldn't be included again this time.
As with every other review, I got an email saying that my order had been dispatched but for ages ot was marked that the courier hadn't received it, chased this up and funnily enough it started tracking, this was 7 days after they'd apparently dispatched it. When it arrived the box was crushed and almost everything inside was damaged with another item missing completely.
When I first raised it to them they said that they could refund or replace, I asked for replace as this was meant to be a birthday gift, they emailed to say that I wouldn't need to return the damaged items and to confirm what needed replacing. The next day I receive an email asking me to confirm that I will be returning the items so they can be replaced, this after yesterday saying I can keep them so I collapsed the box and threw it away (could have salvaged it for the returns if they'd said that in the first place). I replied saying I'd already been told them items would be replaced without return and after being ignored for most of the day then got an email saying that they had confirmed the items need returning.

I sent a screenprint of the email confirming they didn't need to be returned and don't see why I should go out of my way to buy packaging to return damaged items that they clearly want to fob off on someone else. They then said on Friday they WOULD replace them without me returning the damaged stuff but it's now Thursday the following week, I've heard and received nothing since and my emails are being ignored. I won't hold my breath based on the reviews I've read and will just get a birthday gift from The Body Shop and contact my bank to sort a charge back based on the items being damaged and missing.

I am extremely sorry that a free gift was missed out from your original order and that we failed to add it to your new order. This should not have happened and I would be more than happy to send you the gift free of charge. I am going to send you an email to confirm if you would be happy to received as I can see that we failed to communicate with you and didn't add it in time as your order was already fulfilled.

I can see that you placed your order on the 28/05/2022 which was a Saturday. Our dispatch time is 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS. This means that, according to our dispatch time your order was due to leave our facility on 02/06/2022. All of our orders are sent with Standard Evri 48h delivery service meaning that your order was only delayed by 3-4 days and not 7. I am very sorry if this information was not clear on our website - I am going to report this to our team to look into.

After looking into your email thread with our customer service team I can see that there was miscommunication regarding whether you needed to return the slightly damaged products. Our standard procedure is to ask customer to send damaged products back to us in order for us to be able to process a full refund/replacement. The damage was not caused by ourselves but by the courier so this needs to be looked into with them and items never get resold to other customers. However, I can see that my colleague Alex wanted to send those to you out of goodwill as you mentioned they were a present. I am very sorry about the failed communication regarding this issue. I am going to forward it to our management team to investigate today.

I am also going to send you an email today from support@mylittleecoshop.com to get this matter resolved.

Emails being ignored!....

I received my order MET-241714 Monday 6th June but 2 items were missing and 1 item was damaged. I emailed them the following day and to be fair they emailed back not long after apologising for the issues I had with their products. However since then I've emailed them a couple of times over getting 2 replacement items and 1 refund but been completely ignored! Now I just want to return everything and get a full refund £35+ is a lot of money to spend when you don't have half the products. The invoice doesn't have a refund address or label so Eco when you read this please send me a returns label.
