Less than ideal…

Delivery date was way longer than expected... only found out the reason for delay because I paid for tracking.

Bought an adapter for a Western digital WDBWLG0030HBK-EESN external drive for it not to work when it's arrived...

All in all I'm a bit pissed off with myvolts as a whole

I think this is a great company

I think this is a great company. I needed a new power cable for my radio. I did an internet search and this company came up. They had what I wanted, ordered it Sunday, 28th February and it arrived Thursday, 4th March by post. I received a detailed email acknowledging my order then a couple of days later another detailed email informing me my order had been sent. I don't know what else I could ask for. I would certainly recommend this company. In fact, I am just about to order another item. Contrary to other comments this company must be in this country otherwise I would not have received my cable so quickly.

I ordered an adaptor that didn't work.

I ordered an adaptor. It didn't work. It was cheap so I was just going to leave it but Caroline from My Volts contacted me about my purchase. She asked how it was. I thought it was a nice touch following up on an order. I replied and said it didn't work but I think she was expecting a rave review. I got no reply. I followed up with a second message and still nothing. Disappointed and wouldn't use again nor recommend to anybody.

Back then in early 2021, our customer service did not work as it really should but we have improved since and are still working to be even better. For the record, we refunded Mark for his purchase eventually. One thing has not changed: we leave no customer's issue unresolved.

There seems to be some mixed reviews about MyVolts.co.uk

I bought a replacement power supply for a headphone amplifier and everything was fine. I got an order confirmation email from them. I got an order dispatch email from them. They told me when I should expect it and it arrived on time. The power supply is branded MyVolts and the packaging is also printed / branded MyVolts. So in my experience they are legit. The power supply did take a week or so to get to me but I think that's because it's sent from abroad.

I would not recommend this store

I would not recommend this store, for a number of reasons.

If you order, record your order number, as my first order was lost completely, though i was not charged (yet!)

I placed a second order, and again didn't get a confirmation email, and had to email help, to eventually get my tracking details. Without tracked deliver I'd have even less of a clue about my order right now.

It turns out these products are not being delivered from the uk, which is why I ordered on this site to start with.

In addition, the estimated delivery date was wildly inaccurate, and I've no idea when the items from the second order will turn up.

The one good thing about myvolts is their level of information about compatibility. My advice to anyone thinking of ordering adapters from here would be to find the spec for your equipment, then order it elsewhere and save the hassle! / End rant : )

Works for me.

I read some of these reviews, and didn't know whether it was sensible to buy. Thought I'd leave a message either way.

It worked for me. Royal mail is slow atm but arrived within a week. Correct size and power. Wall wart was a little larger than the one I'm replacing, but not a problem size. So all what I expected.

Does their Customer Service dept actually exist?

Wishing I had read these reviews before parting with my cash. No email confirmation, no decent means of contacting them, voice messages send me to some non existent website for support.
All in all pretty dismal customer service and still no idea when I'll get the product I ordered.

I have yet received my item from them

I have yet received my item from them. They gave me an initial time of when it was going to arrive and then changed it. It is past the time of being here and there is no way for me to track my order. I tried calling the number and had to leave my name and email so they’d contact me through that.

Great Customer Service & Range Of Products

Absolutely smashing customer service and one cannot go wrong for finding whatever product you are looking for.
Got a lead for a mini DAB radio that had sat for ages without use. It would have been useless without it as the battery department had rusted. My Volts had the perfect power lead for the model. When it didn’t arrive, there was no issue. They responded kindly and immediately to the email and sent out another. This was very much appreciated as the radio was for someone who at the time, had been stuck in hospital for a lengthy period.

Unfortunately, with 60,000 products in the shop, that could have happened sometimes. We have improved our shop and stock management processes since then. We're sorry about it. Great value, great service, great follow up.

I ordered a replacement power pack for my digital radio. Very easy and simple ordering system. Rapid response to let me know order had been received and item dispatched. Arrived incredibly quickly and thereafter was a follow up email checking that the item was working and was indeed the necessary part.
I was very impressed with the service and the power pack is working well. Good value too. Thanks to all for their help.

BOSE SoundLink Mini

I needed a new power lead to re-charge my BOSE SoundLink Mini blue tooth speaker! The initial lead sent was incorrect and after I explained this, along with providing further details the team sent a new lead which has worked!! Because the team reached out to me asking if what they had provded had worked I was able to provide more detail and get the right lead 2nd time round. The Customer Service was brilliant and I would highly recommend these guys! 5 star service!

No tracking was available unfortunately, as Brennain selected untracked free postage at checkout. When the Customer contacted us, we re-shipped his order promptly though. Fantastic Customer Service!

I'm not sure what's causing the negative reviews about their customer service, because my experience was fantastic. There was a problem with the zip code on my order and they didn't even make me wait to see if it was corrected and the item sent on by the post office, but instead sent me a new charger immediately. In my experience this is really atypical of offshore companies. Bravo MyVolts!
