I am also so disappointed with service

I am also so disappointed with service. I made the purchase on 23/01/2023 and still have not received all order, in parcel that I received one item was missing and now is waiting for follow delivery. I have sent two emails and no response. Very horrible service.
Never ever would buy yarn again. I have never had this problems with other suppliers.

Good experience with this company

I ordered a Janome sewing machine from this company in early October 2022, after deciding which machine I wanted and looking for the best price (it was £50 less through Woolshop than anyone else). After a week had gone by without receiving any shipping notification, I contacted the company and learned it was out of stock everywhere (I looked online at other suppliers and found this was indeed the case). They gave me the option to cancel my order and get a refund, or wait for stock to arrive so I decided to wait. My sewing machine was shipped mid-November and I’m really pleased with it. I don’t think I would have received it sooner if I had ordered elsewhere, due to the circumstances, and it definitely wasn’t available anywhere else at a better price. A little more communication would have been nice (they didn’t contact me to let me know when it was shipped, I just received a notification from the courier) but overall this was a good experience with this company.

They don't post orders or respond to any emails . No phone number for them , a waste of time .

Disgusting!!

Disgusting!!

Ordered on 28/11 and it apparently shipped 29/11 - been unable to track via their tracking number this whole time.
Contacted them twice - once via email, the second time via their webform, to zero response.

Put in for a Paypal dispute today which was immediately decided in my favour, to which they responded VERY quickly by adding the tracking number to the Paypal transaction as if that explained or solved a damn thing.

I wish this was a no star review as…

I wish this was a no star review as they don't deserve the one.
I ordered on the 12th November, still not here and no response from the countless emails I have sent. Opened up a PayPal claim.
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T SEND OUT...AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

They lie about dispatching your order

As other reviews have stated, I would avoid this store. I only used this store as my regular supplier of wool was out of stock of a particular shade I wanted so I decided to use this store which I never will be doing so again. I ordered from them before I went on a week and a half holiday expecting it to have arrived at my house by the time I got back. Once I got home there was no order so I checked the tracking and the Royal Mail still hadn’t received the package although they stated it had been dispatched. I emailed asking for a refund but I still have no reply so have had to open a PayPal claim. Disgusting service.

Very bad

Very bad. As others already said, you can wait for your order for weeks on end and not get any replies to emails. I wish I would have checked the reviews first before ordering.
You get a tracking number very quickly but nothing goes out. You then send emails but they just get ignored. My order arrived 4 weeks later, after I raised a PayPal claim. By then I had ordered my wool from another small shop (which arrived three days later).

It's not that I expected them to deliver within days and I would have happily waited but the non-communication and uncertainty was really annoying. They are very much able to send emails as they have replied to the Paypal claim as soon as I received the order. They deliberately choose to ignore customers.

I recommend to avoid this shop and order elsewhere.

Placed my order almost 6 weeks ago and…

Placed my order almost 6 weeks ago and still am yet to receive it. I understand they work on a rolling stock basis so will list all items as 'in stock', accept full payment for it and mark as despatched with tracking information, without even holding the stock! I've emailed them a number of times with no response. I won't be using this company again.

I’m having the same issue sadly as many others here. Ordered three weeks ago from RKM Wools, which seems to be the same as My Wool Shop. They emailed me 20 December to say it was despatched that day using 48 hour Royal Mail tracking. Yet according to Royal Mail they are still to this day waiting for the item from the seller. Now, I didn’t actually expect the item within 48 hours from 20th December with Christmas and New Year post, but for the item to not even to have been despatched by the seller (as they had claimed, which I find disingenuous) three weeks later is unacceptable. I emailed yesterday but no response. I would normally give it a few days for a seller to reply but these reviews have spooked me so I’ll be lodging my Pay Pal dispute.

Terrible service

I received a dispatch email the day after ordering but the wool wasn't actually dispatched until after I raised a PayPal dispute weeks later. To add to my frustration they have sent the wrong colour yarn and are now ignoring my emails again. I really do not recommend ordering from My Wool Shop.

Avoid

This is the same company as RKM Wools. They seem to accept any order, and take payment, even if the goods aren't in stock. The Delivery section of their website states: "Please note we are currently working with a rolling stock system and stocks are not live. Some stock may need to be ordered in from suppliers and may cause further delays," but this is not stated up front. When I realised they probably didn't have the goods I'd ordered, and no idea when they would get them, I cancelled my order but it still took over two weeks and two letters by special delivery to get my money back, and there was ZERO communication from them, let alone an apology. I believe this is unethical business practice. Like other online stores, they should clearly state if something isn't currently in stock, and give the option to be notified once it is back in stock, at which point you can order and pay. I hate to give a negative review, but I strongly discourage ordering from this company or their associated companies.

Avoid this place

Avoid this place - I placed an order and paid for it 37 days ago. No updates to the order, no replies to my emails. I'll be logging a dispute with PayPal.

To the owners - please stop wasting people's time & holding their money without actually providing any service.

Happy with service, price and product.

Reading the below reviews I was a little worried about my order. However it came within the stated 10 to 15 working days on their website. It seems as if people only leave reviews when they have had a negative experience so here is a positive one.
I had no issues or problems with my order and I couldn't fault the service, price or product.

Do not buy from My Wool Shop

Ordered on 19 Jan 2021. Goods not received. Emails ignored. Phone calls not answered. Case raised with PayPal. Would NOT recommend and will NEVER use this company again. Would have given zero stars if that had been an option
Since raising a case with PayPal and posting this review, my order has arrived, but no communications from My Wool Shop. Despite receiving my order, I will NEVER buy from them again - it’s not worth the hassle!

Finally

Well after numerous emails and having a word with my bank (brilliant service) l have finally had my money of £31.96 refunded. What a shame that this company didn't reply to my emails, that was what annoyed me more than not receiving my wool. l could of been a valued customer. l will stick with ebay in future. Beth 😕

No stars would be more appropriate

No stars would be more appropriate! Ordered wool on 24th October - still waiting. Have had to constantly chase for any answers. Finally told wool no longer available. Requested refund - just ignored all the time. DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
