What made my experience great was the accountability from my counselor. She’s knowledgeable with the process of knowing exactly what needs to be done to ensure you become NACA qualified. One thing that I can say the company is doing well is allowing being a homeowner to become reality!

The process requires effort and time on your part in terms of prequalification requirements, but my counselor Dwayne is very patient and takes his time to guide me through the home buying process. I'm almost to the finish line and I'm excited to start my new journey with NACA.

My experience with NACA has been good so far. I've attended my pre-counseling session and an in-person workshop. The process is pretty straight forward and my counselor has been a great help.

I praise God for NACA program they have made a way to help minorities of different caliber to be able to become home owners who thought they couldn’t afford to. I am in my early stage of the program and it’s been amazing to learn hands on what goes into being a home owner Naca teaches you behind the scenes dealing with paperwork, credit (which they do very differently from a realtor) they do not go by credit score’s. You will attend a class that goes through the steps and what you will need to do to ensure your process goes smoothly as possible for all parties involved. You don’t have to worry about having thousands of dollars to put down on a home. I’m own state permanent disability and if NACA can help me they can help you to become a home owner. Theresa Kelly

I’m still early in the process with NACA, but I already appreciate the their history and what the organization stands for. They’ve built a legacy around fighting for access to affordable homeownership in communities like mine, and it feels powerful to be a part of that mission.

Even though I haven’t gone through all the steps yet, I can already see how intentional they are about making sure homeownership isn’t just an individual achievement, but something that strengthens entire neighborhoods. I’m also looking forward to the required participation aspect — I like that it’s not just about me buying a house, but about contributing back to the broader movement for housing justice. I think this is what keeps us all connected to something bigger, even after we have benefited personally.

Ms. Ellen Petersen was sent to me because of my prayers. I have been working on purchasing a home since 2024 - I guess if you want it bad enough you'll get up and do it. I have been working - like a dog - to make this dream come true. I have worked with different lenders, advisors, counselors, etc. But no one was able to help me learn, grow, and understand like Ms. Ellen. And no matter what, you can be rest assured that, while you may not be ready for a house today - which is so frustrating - you will be 1000% financially ready for that house when the time comes. And won't that just feel the best?

I started my process with NACA and I can say so far so good when I first heard about it I thought it was a scam, but I am in the middle stage of the process and everything is going great. I would recommend anybody that’s looking to buy a home to look into NACA. It’s a very great program. I’ve tried many first home buying programs and no one has top NACA so far so if you have the time and the patience, please look into it. It’s a very great program. 

Mrs Slater is awesome, she guide me and my fiancé, through the whole process patiently explain each process. I learned a lot about credit report, budget and money and accounting for all of my money being spent on a monthly basis. I think that this is a awesome program. I truly enjoy the process and learning along the way.
