First of all, I loved the huge range of rugs and even better that they were on sale. At first it was hard to choose a rug. I used the 'wish list' function and worked from there based on size, colour and price.

Maria was fantastic. She took time. Time to understand my needs and budget. I never felt pressured. She wanted me to have the rug that suited me. It was only a small purchase but that wasn't a problem. They would be top of my next purchase list. The rug was as described well priced and arrived promptly.

Fantastic and efficient service from Najaf Rugs - Maria was very helpful in sending me additional photographs of the rug I was interested in. I now have a very special hand embroidered woolen kilim to light up my flat. I had to move two other Najaf rugs to a new space to fit in the new kilim so it's like I have three new rugs instead of just one! So good!

Their website is great and provides several perspective photos for every rug for sale. Najaf's rugs are authentic, exquisite and provide a rare opportunity to own and enjoy masterfully created rugs. For us, we have the rug we wanted within 3 business days of ordering. The packaging was perfect. The actual delivery was questionable. We heard the doorbell however, the delivery person had pulled away in his vehicle in the short time it took us to get to the door. In our view, we would have preferred to have the package 'handed to us' personally and not left at the front door.

The rug was available the same day we ordered it online and all went so smoothly when we picked it up. But the really wonderful aspect was that Mr Mazari's daughter Maria agreed to a special request we made on behalf of our young Afghan refugee friends who have very recently managed to find safety in Spain. We asked if her father might be willing to sign his two books so we could send them to our friends. He did this and Maria then posted the books to us. That is way more than "customer service". It is an act of kindness and compassion on a wholly different level.
