Didn't do a very good job
The technician stated right from the beginning that he didn't think he would be able to repair the chip. He had a totally negative attitude. He gave me the impression that I should get a new windscreen. Is he on commission? He also stated that he would probable further damage the windscreen during the repair, and asked did I still want to go ahead. I can still see the chip and the crack lines. He didn't do a very good job. Should I contact my insurance company and suggest that they do not use National Windscreens?

Replacement windscreen done by Joe
Today I had my windscreen replaced on my fiat 500 X by a very polite and helpful young man by the name of Joe.
He called me to tell he was on his way and his expected time of arrival and introduced himself, which was very helpful to me as I am a person who gets very anxious meeting new people.
When he arrived, he was again extremely polite and explained everything to me about what he was there to do and safety aspects about waiting to drive my car afterwards.
He worked very efficiently, quietly and left no mess.
I was very happy with this service. National windscreens -Chesterfield, you should be very proud of Joe! He is extremely good at his work and his customers service was excellent. Lastly, Joe, thank you for your kindness and patience and taking the time to put me at ease, was an absolute pleasure to meet you today 😊

I arrive on time the guys were on it pretty quickly I sat in there waiting room working on computer (free WiFi is available)and was finish ahead of the 4 hours quoted, so was happy. There is a Greggs next door if you need a bit to eat, all the staff I spoke with were friendly and informative

Windscreen replacement
We had to rebook our appointment because they had the wrong windscreen. On the second date we dropped off our vehicle to get another phone call that they hadn't got the correct windscreen again. Fortunately they sourced a windscreen and we got our vehicle back the same day. The staff were friendly and the vehicle when we got it back was clean.
