Cracked the Replacement Windscreen, Scratched the Paint, Won't Talk To Me.
The replacement windscreen was cracked on fitting on 26MAY25 - which can happen, just bad luck. But I had to email the local branch three times before I got a commitment to a date for the rectification work on 12JUN25, despite the manager providing an emailed undertaking to fix it before the MOT due date the week before (08JUN25). Then when the guy turns up on 12JUN25 to do the second replacement, we notice deep scratch damage to the paintwork next to the windscreen (damage which did not exist in the original claim photos), and was obviously done on the first attempt to replace the windscreen. I emailed the branch on 12JUN25 to find out how they're going to fix this ... and over a week later, no response. I do however get repeated requests to *pay* for this experience.
And National's social media bot will 'express regret', say it will 'investigate to prevent a recurrence' - but will it actually say they'll make any attempt to fix it? No.

The guy's gave me a call about an hour …
The guy's gave me a call about an hour before arrival once here they didn't take to long did what I would say was a good job. I never used the car for about 3 days and today was the 1st in the rain I think. All seems good on that front. So I'd say I'm happy, they said to call if any problems.

A very good and helpful company who did my replacement from their mobile van. On completion all looked well but later discovered the wiper arms now slap on downward stroke and the plastic rear view mirror cover had been broken either on removal or refit.

Left car in morning and they texted me in the afternoon at 2.30 to say it was ready for collection. Got clear instructions not to wash the car for a certain duration. Staff polite and helpful. Would have no problem if I had to use again for a new windscreen
