Damaged Mirror Cowl, no response
Contacted them after having my front windscreen replaced as I was getting a knocking, clicking sound when driving over uneven road, turning corners. I was told this would be passed onto their local office. Over 4 days later still no response, I went into my local VW and had them diagnose the issue. This is when they identified that 3 out of the four retainer clips in my mirror cowl had been snapped, in there words "this has been forced off by someone now knowing what they were doing, as this is removed easily by pinching it together at the connection. The overall sound issue has been resolved but due to there being three clips damaged I now have a slight rattle on older tarmac roads, so driving down the A1/M is a nightmare and I have to turn my music up.
