Charlie communicated arrival and kept me informed. Arrived on time. Very friendly and helpful. Explained what he would be doing and did a great job on my chip. It's barely noticeable. 10/10

Easy enough to book and length of time taken was as specified. New glass could have been cleaner and no new windscreen wipers available for my car but good service.

Technician come to replace windscreen. Before he came the previous day I took off scuttle, wipers and fittings and clips which I placed in a plastic tray on back seat. I used to be a windscreen technician years ago. It was to save the technician time and for me to thoroughly clean area and plastics whilst plastics were removed. I also removed A pillar trim inside front of vehicle and placed on back seat.
I unplugged wiper motor so scuttle could be pulled right out of way. I vaccumed and thoroughly cleaned all debris and wiped over with wipes to remove all dirt. Most trim fittings and wipers were placed on back seat in large tray. Scuttle and A post plastics were placed on top of tray on back seat. The next day the technician phoned at 9am to say he would be there around 2pm. I said I had removed wipers, scuttle, trim and A post plastics he said great. He turned up at 16.50. not an issue as I no you can be delayed it wasn't a problem. I placed car on green so technician had loads of room around vehicle. I showed technician large tray with fittings wipers etc on back seat with a post plastics and scuttle. The guy was pleasant and removed new windscreen from his van and said there was no rubber trim on new glass. He ended up using universal trim on windscreen. Didn't think nothing of it. We chatted as guy prepped area and prepped glass. I gave him a hand lifting glass in and let him settle glass my side. Technician said there were two small trim pieces missing from each side. I couldn't fathom out where they had gone. Then I realised I had left them on garden concrete posts to dry after cleaning the day before. My mistake ( felt like a right numpty). When I returned with them technician had put scuttle back on and other trim fittings.
He showed me what he had done and he said what was this wiring plug for. I said it was for windscreen wiper harness he didn't plug it back in. So I had vehicle with no functioning wipers. I thought bloody hell and said I would do it next day as it was a simple mistake. The scuttle, trim and wipers had to come off again to do this.
I said how long before I could move vehicle. Technician said 30 mins. I thought I would put car back onto drive after taking dog for a walk in evening. About 9pm I moved car back to drive. I noticed universal trim had been cut short on both sides leaving a large uneven gaps on both sides where water could get in. Also wiper nut trim caps were missing. I lifted bonnet to find scuttle push fittings were missing and and scuttle was left loose as wiper harness was just sitting under scuttle. Scuttle couldn't sit flush as harness prevented this. I thought I would check plastic tray on back seat for push fittings and nut trim caps. They were gone. I thought for god's sake. I went online to National Windscreens website later on and messaged chat bot and chatted that windscreen fitting had issues. Got an email confirmation with pdf with windscreen report to say it had been reported. A day or so later I noticed wiper nut caps were back on. I thought the technician has passed through and placed them back on??? A few days had passed and heard nothing. Decided to phone National Windscreens they were unaware that I had reported an issue on line. I received an email regarding new booking to sort issue. On the day had a a courtsey call to say the technician would be with me shortly after 9am. The same technician arrived. I said to him were you aware the universal trim had been cut short he said yes. I said the scuttle was loose and the scuttle fittings were missing and the wiper caps were originally missing then put back on the next day. The guy didn't look happy. I then left the technician to get on with it. He later phoned to say it was done. When I returned the windscreen had the trim correctly in place. The scuttle was put back on again with the wiper harness not plugged in. I brought this to the technicians attention. He said because I unplugged it, it was down to me to plug it back in. Why he couldn't call me to plug it in before installing scuttle I don't know. I said you didn't put the wipers back on. He said because I took them off it was upto me put them back on plus because the wiper harness wasn't plugged in he left it for me to do. I then had to spend the next morning disassembling scuttle to plug in wiper harness then put back on wipers. I was actually shocked, very poor customer service. I hope this gets sent to the director of the company for a response. I wouldn't mind the technican made the mistake in the first place didn't have the honesty to tell me his mistake and thought I would be happy to let the job pass. I wasn't angry with the trim being cut short as I understand mistakes can be made. I blame myself also for not thoroughly checking the work originally carried out. You would think he would have been more cautious with the work being carried out.

The team were very welcoming and accommodating.
The facility is located in a strange place but there are places to eat in a reasonable walking distance, (near to Harolds Wood Station) as recommended by the team.

It’s taken over three weeks not taking any consideration regarding the situation with me,glass got few small scratches .

Once I sent the information they required ie photo of the cracked roof screen, they told me it would take a week to know when the roof screen could be fitted. In less than a week they called me to say they received the screen and gave me an appointment in a week's time.
On the day, I dropped my car early in the morning and was given a choice to come collect it in the evening or next morning. I chose to pick it up next morning.
The next morning, my car was ready. The gentleman explained what we need to do and what not to do for next twenty-four hours. We aid for the excess and left.
Smooth sail.
We have used this business before and would highly recommend it.

Original appointment to change windscreen, told it was ready, finished work to get to the garage to collect, before they close, only to be told that they could not calibrate the sensors and there is a fault with the new windscreen they have fitted. I understand these things can happen, but it was never communicated to me until after my payment had been done. That’s sneaky.
I was then told they will order another one and let me know and so I can re book, should be around 7-10 days.
2 and half weeks went past, no communication whatsoever, I had to continuously chase about the order for a working windscreen.
Finally nearly 3 weeks on I got my window replaced and it was working as it should do with the sensors, however,
1. I’ve noticed cuts on the top inside of the car material both on the passenger side and driver side, I only noticed as I was swiping my finger on top of the inside of the windscreen, they have failed to notify me of the damaged they caused.
2. The new windscreen has a scratch mark, and it can only really be seen when it’s dark as it’s on the black board of the bottom windscreen.
Overall the service has been below expectations, especially as the referral came from my insurance provider.
I would not recommend based on my experience, as their handywork is not great at all, poor customer services even in their support centre and with zero communications regarding updates.

The service was good, only issue was repair was put back a day as the glass hadn’t come in. Fortunately I was able to come the next day.

They called me at 5.03pm to see if i was still collecting my car same day. Was so panicked as call centre was not answering and i was 10mins delayed in traffic. Was grateful they waited.
Only other thing i would have liked if they brushed off the dust from the bonnet of my car.

Wipers not fitted back correctly I had to go to the depot to have them correctly fitted, dirty finger prints on the new windscreen and rear view mirror
