Kerkini pelicans is a well planned, well-organized, and a well-performed photo tour in a friendly atmosphere.

The guiding was excellent with support given to the less experienced photographers making sure they develop their skills and succeed in taking great photos.

Over the years I have been on several trips with NaturesLens and have just returned from Greece visiting the Lake Kerkini pelicans. There trips are well organised and they now how to look after their guests. I suffer from arthritis in one knee and they always park as close as possible to our subjects to reduce any walking I had to do. Highly recommend this tour company As PN and David always go out of teir way to give the best.

Delayed a year but that just raised the anticipation level and NaturesLens delivered!
It’s a tough time for any travel company but David and Pui Hang kept us abreast of the ever changing travel requirements and were super helpful when last year’s was cancelled and reclaiming monies from EasyJet, thank you.
This is the perfect length of time to fill your cards with all possible images of these charismatic birds from boat and shore. The boat skipper, Vasilis goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is pointing their camera where the action is about to happen! Accommodation is simple but comfortable, each with their own room. Food is plentiful and hot and after a session, necessary-it’s chuffing cold out! It was great that there is wriggle room in the itinerary to accommodate the weather, we had everything from fog, low cloud, rain and finally clear sky with sunshine and were able to go on the boat on our last morning (rescheduled from another morning with torrential rain) to enjoy a sunrise and amazing red/pink light. David will give a run down of the photographic potential images and where to start with settings and what to anticipate/expect the birds to do. He is always available for help at any time with a wealth of both local and international knowledge. Knockout trip.

Covid has been a challenge for all concerned including the photographic community. We are all trying our best to stay motivated and whilst one after another of our organised trips are cancelled, Natureslens have kept us updated and we are safe in the knowledge our deposits are secure. In the background they are busy organising new and exciting trips for the future whilst trying to create local trips to tide us over during this “no travel” time. I’m looking forward to many more well organised trips in the future when life has returned to some sort of normalcy, in the meantime I shall be looking at their website and dreaming of future trips.

I was booked to visit India to photograph one of my favourite animals, the tiger, in March 2020. Sadly we had to call off the trip at the very last minute (covid reasons) but I was at all times kept well informed and was offered a replacement trip a year later. Communication was excellent throughout the planning and then postponement of the trip, and I felt I was genuinely being looked after. When we get round to actually going (probably in 2022) I will have no doubt it will he handled particularly well and I can relax knowing I am in excellent hands.

I had been on my first wildlife photography trip with Natureslens in january 2020, having had a excellent trip, I booked another trip, this time to photograph the Pelicans of lake Kerkini in Greece for 2021.
As we all know the pandemic hit. I contacted Natureslens who told me not to pay the final balance
for the trip and wait to see how things were going.At the beging of november they contacted me to say,the trip would not be going ahead as easyjet had canceled all flights for January 2021. They gave me three options to transfer my booking to 2022,( of which I did ) have a full refund of any monies paid or book onto any of there other trips. Also they sent me an email on how to get my money back from easyjet for the flight this was refunded in two days of me emailing easyjet. A most excellent company to deal with and dealt with the situation very efficiently.

I booked a trip to Greece for January 2021, my third trip with Natures Lens, due to the pandemic this was cancelled. The people at Natures Lens promptly offered a number of alternatives, including the same trip in 2022 at 2021 prices and a full refund. In view of the present uncertain times I choose the full refund and the money was transferred back into my account in less than 24 hours.
All my dealings with Natures Lens have led me to believe that they are a first class organisation doing their best to offer diverse and cost effective wildlife photography opportunities and I look forward to booking future trips with them.

I had booked to go on a trip with Natureslens in January 2021. They have kept me informed of developments in good time throughout the pandemic. Now that it has been cancelled they have offered me a place in 2022 at the same price or my money back. Very disappointed that Covid has stopped me travelling but looking forward to going in a year's time.
I feel for companies having to cope with all this extra work/stress during these unusual times and wish them well. I'll certainly be happy to wait for my Pelican experience.

Due to the second lockdown our photography trip to Norfolk with Nature Lens had to be cancelled. We were kept informed throughout and offered alternative dates or a total refund. Having opted for a refund we had a prompt reply and monies were in our bank within 24hrs. We can not fault the response we had and have already booked to travel with them again.
Highly recommend.

I have traveled both to Spain and Costa Rica with NaturesLens and enjoyed both trips. I think the best thing is that they had contact with the locals ensuring we were at the appropriate locations to photograph. I have three more trips scheduled with them and I think that is probably the highest endorsement you can give - rebook. Of course, with Covid everything is uncertain at the present time but I look forward to my scheduled trips when normalcy returns.

If the reviewer below really is in the travel industry as he professes, then I would think that he should be aware of how terms and conditions work, he also should be aware that working with companies instead of making demands on them often produces better results.

His response comes across as a series of demands of how he expected NaturesLens to sort out a mess not of their making, if he didn't ask for a transfer or a credit note for his deposit until several emails later but did ask for a cancellation, then he needs to take this matter up with his travel insurer.

I know for a fact that NaturesLens issue cancellation invoices in this scenario and his travel insurer will now be the right recourse for the deposit loss.

If, as he admits, he then posted on social media numerous times - the amount of times seems to be acknowledged as being multiple - this could be seen as further antagonising the situation by the reviewer and that he has to date only made demands, not attempted to work things out.

Today i had yet another trip postponed due to the pandemic but as with the previous two Pui Hang of Natures Lens has it in hand and put my mind at rest offering an alternative date.
I feel sorry for companies in there position not knowing when it will all end and having to juggle dates and keep customers and guides informed of the changes.
I have been with them on previous trips and know they will do they're best to make everything perfect as usual.

I was booked to travel with NaturesLens in March to see tigers in India but the trip was postponed to 2021 when the country closed their borders. NaturesLens were incredibly helpful in helping me get a refund for my flights as I didn't want a voucher and went above and beyond to help me when I had trouble getting a refund for my internal flights. I feel the negative review below is unfair because I know from my own personal experience just how hands on they are with their business and ensuring that their guests are kept up to date with regards to their trips. Only last week they contacted me to canvas my opinion with regards to postponing the India trip again from 2021 to 2022 based on feedback from their suppliers. They clearly have their fingers on what's happening and I am very comfortable and happy with them. So much so that I have just booked to go to Sri Lanka in 2023 with them!

With reference to the review that NaturesLens have received regarding their refund policy, this is all clearly stated in their terms and conditions, follow the correct procedure and NaturesLens treat you very fairly.

I was booked on, and eagerly looking forward to, a holiday to India that should have taken place in March 2020. Thanks to COVID this was cancelled at very short notice due and NaturesLens took care of everything, even assisting in obtaining refunds for our airline tickets.

They kept me fully informed throughout the process and rebooked the holiday and all it's elements for spring 2021. However, due to ongoing COVID issues, it has now been delayed again until 202. This was a a decision that was made early and communicated well, all our options were presented to us and it was handled very clearly.

I have taken photography holidays with NaturesLens since 2013, and would consider myself to be a regular and longtime client of theirs.

Well, the pandemic has certainly played havoc with travel plans, I travel a lot with NaturesLens and have seen five 2020 trips having to be postponed; NaturesLens ask for only a couple of things, act politely with them and work with them to resolve situations. I have moved all our trips into future years, I have had assistance from them on gaining refunds for flights and I have been fully kept in the loop. Often I have hotels or parking booked at airports prior to a trip and NaturesLens have kept me informed of what is going on so that I have lost no money. NaturesLens have fully adapted to the needs of the travel industry in the post-pandemic world, the have introduced a booking guarantee and I have found them to be very flexible - if you are worried about their refund policy, take it from me that you do not need to be, they follow the standards of the industry, follow FCO advice and actively help clients out when travel plans do go off piste - in the case of some of my trips, they were postponed ahead of time, just because the clients were not happy with the situation on the country that we were supposed to be travelling to.

Just returned from my first trip with NaturesLens. I visited Japan with the intention of photographing Stellar Sea Eagles, Whit-tailed sea eagles, Red Crowned cranes and Whooper Swans. I specifically picked this trip because it appeared that it provided the most opportunities to get great shots especially during extreme cold and iffy weather conditions. (For example, six boat trips on the sea ice was a fantastic way to hone one’s skills and get great shots with practice.)
And I can happily report that the experience exceeded my expectations. The NaturesLens guides knew the area well and provided just the right amount of instruction as required by each participant. And the group size was small which made organization much easier for everyone.
The guides were also willing to alter the itinerary as necessary if the group decided to be creative and vary from the plan.
I’ll be traveling with them again in the future as soon as I figure out where I want to go next year.

Thanks for a wonderful Wildlife of Costa Rica tour. We saw so much in the time away with so much packed into every day.

Tailoring of the Tour to fit the likelihood of seeing wildlife was impressive and I appreciate your efforts on meal times as not being essential for me it certainly made things easier to plan.

This was my first trip with Natureslens, and with any first trip I was unsure what to expect. However the whole experience was flawless, from making the initial booking right through to my return. The location the group was accommodated at was an old hunting lodge, built in the late 1800, excellent digs, and the catering was all freshly cooked, abundant and very tasty! Excellent chef.
The hides, in total number 30, but we used just a small number of the total. As our group was small, for the most part we were in individual hides. All in all, a very memorable experience!
