Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful! Avoid at all costs.

Received dress, not as photo on website. Should have been ‘White with blue stripes, midi 3/4 sleeves, it was PLAIN BLUE . Cheap and shoddy finish.
No labels on dress, no paperwork with parcel, no return address.
This is contrary to TRADING STANDARDS, Item has to be as shown on site.

I sent emails to Navy London with photos and demanded refund, said they’d replace.
Said would not refund as replacement shipped. But I asked for refund before ‘shipped’
I received ‘replacement’. Even worse than first dress. Sent photo of checked maxi dress long sleeves. was offered 25% refund.
Told I could keep dresses as gesture of good will (they will go in local recycling bin)
More emails, offered 30% refund or 50% gift voucher to use Navy London.
Demanded refund, told to return dress to China at my expense…. Postage starting at almost £20. Even though they admitted it was not to my requirements.
Have exchanged almost 15 emails to date!
Having looked at other comments re this dress, there are very many comments that a wrong, shoddy dress received.
I admit my emails have been politely answered by Anna, but have avoided a full refund.

I will never use Navy-London again

I will never use Navy-London again. The item (jumpsuit) took nearly a month to arrive and when it finally did the quality was terrible. When placing my order, I hadn't realised that the item would actually be sent from China (which probably explains the length of time) and therefore prohibitively expensive to return. I'm afraid it will be going straight to the local charity shop.

People need to be aware of the returns…

People need to be aware of the returns policy, Sizes are quite skimpy and the returns policy - despite saying 100% refund they charge £20+ for postage returns to China!
I would not risk buying anything from them again! CHECK THE RETURNS POLICY!!!

Save your money and avoid the aggravation

As expected when my item finally arrived 5 weeks after placing the order, it bears no relation to the image in the marketing material. It took me a while to figure out what it was and I assumed I had been delivered something in error. It is made of a flimsy man-made fabric rather than a heavy duty thick one and non of the detailing is the same. Totally unrecognisable and certainly not anything I would have ordered. Save your money, check the genuine reviews and buy elsewhere.

Ideally zero stars. Poor quality dress

Ideally zero stars.
They display good Trust Pilot reviews but I believe these are false.
When I realised the dress I ordered was coming from Asia not the UK as the website seemed to indicate I tried to cancel. My request was ignored and goods sent anyway. I have requested to return even though it will cost me a lot. The dress is awful and bears no resemblance to online photos. Loose threads, poor unpleasant fabric, weird fit with the back sticking out and sleeves longer than shown.

0 stars but couldn’t put that so had to give 1. I am waiting with bated breath after reading all reviews.
I ordered a striped dress on July 10th also thinking it was London based. Reading someone else ordered the same not looking forward to getting it.
Have been kept up to date with tracking, mail this morning from Evri to say they have received it. Fingers crossed it will arrive, although not expecting a nice cotton dress, I’m thinking after reading all reviews it will be a horrid cheap material.

Although the delivery took two weeks to arrive the dress is OK its not exactly as it shows on their advert because it looks like it's a thick cotton but is actually a flimsy silky material but acceptable I paid £34.99 which was a bit more than it should have been but the dress is quite nice

Scam. Not a genuine company.

Scam. Not a genuine company. I ordered a 100% cotton jumpsuit. What I received was 100% polyester corduroy and obviously a completely different piece of clothing than the pictures. I had no idea I was ordering something from China, and trusted Instagram. They wanted me to ship the item back to China for a refund, which I refused to do because I felt it likely that they would find fault with the return and then I'd be out of the postage too! My bank refunded the money thank fully. Please don't buy from them, they are out to scam you.

Scam

Scam, they claimed my order was delivered and I never recieved it. They made me fill out 3 forms to confirm order was not recieved. They keep saying it delivered with not photographic evidence. I have a door bell camera and have proof no deliver. I asked for a refund and they have said no. In short they have stolen my money..over £45. Considering how many people complain they are making a fortune!! They should be reported to the police and watchdog which I am doing now

Pleasantly surprised after reading negative reviews

My delivery of goods ordered was late. The tracking number given to me by the company wasn't accepted by Evri . I read the reviews and panicked ...so much so that I emailed navy-london and asked for a refund .
My parcel arrived today about an hour ago and i have just sent a grovelling apology to the company .
The shoes are exactly what i ordered and fit perfectly. They are also very comfortable . It gives me great pleasure to give a glowing review ...out of all the negative comments this is a positive one , which I'm happy to give .

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

AVOID! This company is a scam, as others have said. You will not receive what you ordered, instead you will receive a Chinese knock-off. I tried to cancel my order but got an email the next day to be told it was not possible as the item had been shipped and I would have to return it. If you look at the returns policy, the minimum cost of return shipping to China is £19.95.

Within an hour of placing my order I contacted my credit card company (Bank of Scotland) to tell them the site was a scam - they were not at all bothered and said it was not possible to cancel a pending payment. They were total unconcerned that they were effectively aiding and abetting a fraudulent company. I raised a complaint with them but doubt I will get anywhere with it.

Payment for my order was through Shop so I have also contacted them but received no reply as yet.

I will keep this review updated.

UPDATE 20 July 2024: I just received an email from Navy - London to tell me they no longer have the colour of the slipper I ordered in stock so would I like to choose another. This is the order they claimed on the 17th they couldn't cancel because it had been shipped. I sent a reply to say no, please cancel the order. I sent a tracking cookie with the email which showed me it had been opened and read - so I know they received it within two minutes of them telling me the item wasn't in stock. I followed it up informing them I have evidence the email was seen and to tell them I am keeping a record of everything to confront my bank with.

UPDATE 29 July 2024: They said they would pass my request to cancel the order to their back office who would tell me my next steps. This morning I got an email to say the order had been shipped. I just knew they were going to do that.

Meanwhile I have been in touch with my credit card company who went through the sequence of events with me. They said I will be able to request a charge-back on 5 August and if the company send the goods in the meantime after clearly requesting cancellation, I should simply inform them they are available for collection. Navy-London was never going to cancel the order and refund me. As my bank said, it is a case of classic stalling tactics and they've seen it all before.

UPDATE 05 August 2024: My credit card company have started the charge-back process which will result in a refund in October. I was told the company could challenge it. Given Navy-London only have two responses I wonder what my bank will make of them. Response one is to ignore my cancellation request and tell me they are pleased to let me know my order has been shipped. Response two is to say that because my order has shipped it cannot be cancelled. Every time I tried to cancel the order I got the 'sorry it has been shipped' response. I think their understanding of English is weak and they have certain canned responses they issue. It is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

UPDATE 06 August 2024: My order arrived using a different Royal Mail rather than EVRI as advised. this meant the package was left at my property and I wasn't able to refuse delivery. As expected the slippers I received were nothing like what I'd ordered. Cheap PVC rather than leather and they looked really cheap and nasty. I have contacted Navy-London to inform them the goods are available for collection at my address, but I know I will just get a canned response telling to to use their returns process at a cost of £19.99. It's so frustrating that the banks are so reticent to help the customer and given the company is in China there is no legal recourse available.

UPDATE 20 August 2024: Navy-London keeps emailing me to inform me that I must pay for return shipping, or choose one of their alternative offers (like 30% off). I told them I have no responsibility to pay to return goods which I cancelled before they shipped, which makes them unsolicited, and in any case the goods were clearly were not what I'd ordered in the first place. My credit card company has told me I need to tell Navy-London that the goods are available for collection at their convenience. I keep getting emails from Navy-London which repeat what they've already said. I can claim a charge-back on 22 August given that all the MasterCard steps have been followed.

UPDATE 2 September 2024: My credit card company has applied the charge-back and it has appeared in my account. Navy-London sent me an email asking if I could explain why there was a charge-back. I reminded them of the copious exchange of emails where I tried to cancel my order before it had been shipped, and where I sent them a photo of the lovely leather sippers I'd ordered and the awful thin PVC slippers I received. As instructed by my credit card company I have informed Navy-London several times that the goods are available for collection at their convenience. They are still emailing me!

AVOID - SCAM!

Wish I could give no stars! Completely agree with earlier reviews- this is a scam! My ‘dress’ arrived today - nothing like the quality product advertised on their supposed London website - it’s more like a rag - cheap flimsy cotton, almost see through and very creased. They rely on people giving up trying to return as they charge £20 and they don’t reply to emails.Hopefully they will be shut down! Fraudsters!

Scammers

Scam - beware, avoid. Same experience as other reviewers. Cheap, nasty, skimpy items nothing like photos.
Update: they also use AI for all their emails, that is why they sound polite, reasonable and helpful. Your emails to them are not read or replied to by a human being but by an AI robot sensitive to ‘sentiment and feeling’.
