My experience with NewLaw Solicitors was excellent. Lisa was a pleasure to work with- she handled my probate efficiently, kept me updated at every stage, and made the whole process as stress-free as possible. I would highly recommend Lisa and NewLaw to anyone in need of probate support.

Excellent service from Emily Roberts, she sent clear instructions and kept me updated to my mother’s Probate. I received the Grant within a couple of weeks of her taking on my case. Very reasonable rate and I had been quoted so much more from the Co-op who were going to over charge me by thousands. Found Emily and NewLaw really professional and trustworthy and highly recommend. At a time of grieving you need someone you can trust.

My late mother passed away just recently . We were in the process of buying a bungalow to live out our lives. The process of buying the bungalow was stopped as my conveyancing solicitor said I had to go to probate.
You try and fill in the form yourself IHT400 and you will not be able to fully understand it. I guarantee you will lose a lot of money that is entitled to come off what you owe.
I went online and found that new law solicitors were a probate specialist. I was very apprehensive about contacting them.
I can only say that by calling them and speaking to Lisa was the best decision I have made. Yes there was a fee but I can tell anyone that is reading this it was totally worth paying .
Lisa done absolutely everything . They said probate would take 12 weeks and longer . I also had inheritance tax to pay.
Thanks to Lis hard work I paid my inheritance tax in a few weeks and got probate after that in just over a week. Please if you are struggling with inheritance tax or probate call new law now and I hope Lisa will help you as she is a total expert and I cannot thank Lisa enough
I got that bungalow in the end and it was all down to Lisa

Kirsty, who was my case manager was excellent, always returned calls and explained issues when necessary. The only glich was with the company having their software hacked mid process which held everything up for some while- but this was not their fault of course. I would reccomend using NewLaw for probate and many thanks to Kirsty.

My handler, Jackie, was easily contactable for my myriad questions and always patient and understanding with me; nothing was too much trouble. The probate process took a looooooong time but she kept me apprised the whole way through. It felt like we'd become friends at the end of it all!

I recently used NewLaw Solicitors (Emily Roberts) to handle my probate application, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service I received. From the very first consultation, Emily was clear, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive during what was a difficult time for me and my family.
She explained each step of the process in plain English, kept me updated throughout, and ensured that everything was submitted correctly and on time.
Thanks to Emily's expertise, the probate was granted without any delays or complications. I felt completely reassured knowing they had everything under control.

I'd been sent to work with NewLaw by Farewell in January 2024 after the death of my husband. The case manager I'd been assigned seemed ok at beginning.
However, it was March when I'd begun to notice that my calls for update and information on case progress were not being returned. Emails not answered for weeks. Then, cyber incident occurred and case manager just disappeared. I had to file complaint to get case moving on my own.
I'd asked to cancel contract during my original compliant, but was advised I'd have to start all over and that things would settle down. I had requested a meeting schedule to get back on track with case manager that was set up and never followed.
It's 17 months later on a straight forward estate case and I'm still being given the run round.
If, I hadn't gone to Land registry myself I would not have known housing title has been transferred. I have house repairs I'd like to make however I don't know if there's anything that I need to know about from house transfer process.
I made mistake of inquiring about shares held by my husband for possible sale. Which I then tried to pull back by email because of the constant mean spiritedness and begging for information I've been dealing with in this company. But, they continue to try to 'chase' for that cash. They haven't followed their own contract details, and they don't respond to information requests unless I beg or if they want something. There isn't really anything outstanding from my husband's case, so why is it still ongoing?
I've reviewed my contract copies and quotes from Farewell & NewLaw during contract signing, however I've received NO details on current charges from NewLaw. It's always a vague response.
While I appreciate the slight understanding from NewLaw about my mother's recent death, I don't appreciate that my late husband's case continues to be on going with no end in sight when I am trying to cope with another loss and trying to finish raising my children alone.
I have done everything in good faith with this firm, but I no longer believe that they are acting in good faith with me.
