Been using my Niche Zero for 6 months and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I wanted a single dose workflow compared to my previous grinder which used a hopper. I'd say my coffee tastes better too. I boug... See more

Happy customer.
I emailed Niche UK with a query about my grinder as the Melbourne Australian dealer who sold it to me six years ago no longer stocked or dealt with the Niche Zero. I wasn't hopeful that Niche UK would take much interest in my issue, however, I received and very quick and polite response from James at Niche. Over a number of emails James gave super quick replies and provided extremely helpful advice.
Very happy customer.
Fantastic grinder
We chose the grinder after looking at reviews about a number in a similar price bracket. So glad we made the choice we did.
The grinder is easy to use, looks great on the side and is really well made. Fully recommend getting one.
Simply the best burr single dose…
Simply the best burr single dose grinder, I dont think I can put it more plainly than that. If machine were to break down tomorrow I would order a new one instantly.
Superb Grinder
Frankly, this grinder is superb: It is plug and play and functions intuitively and reliably.
I used a cheaper grinder before (for two weeks: The DF 54). Niche Zero, while more expensive, is ten times better.

Outstanding grinder, outstanding company
The Niche Zero was bought for me as a Christmas present and it has been nothing short of superb.
From ordering through to delivery, the experience with Niche was flawless — clear communication, realistic timelines, and a real sense that this is a company run by people who genuinely care about what they’re producing.
The Niche Zero itself fully lives up to the hype. Beautifully built, compact, thoughtfully designed, and a joy to use day-to-day. Grind consistency is excellent, retention is genuinely minimal, and the workflow is so simple it makes dialing in espresso (and switching to filter) effortless. It’s one of those rare products that immediately feels “right”.
Most importantly, it’s transformed my coffee at home. Shots are more consistent, flavours are clearer, and it’s made the whole ritual more enjoyable rather than more complicated.
This was a premium purchase, but it feels worth every penny. A brilliant product from a company that clearly sweats the details. Highly recommended.
Never getting old classic
Never getting old classics with subtle flavours every time you grind it. I got DF64 gen 2 but sold right after Niche Zero arrived. Besf recommendations!
The best single dosing grinder

I mostly like my Niche Zero
I mostly like my Niche Zero, but its misses the five stars:
It looks great on my countertop and fits nicely into my espresso setup.
With a new batch of coffee, dialing in is always a bit of a journey. Some waste is expected, and once it’s dialed in, the grinder is reliable. However, as beans age and degrade, adjustments are necessary. I’ve also found that changing beans requires recalibration due to cross, contamination and it’s probably a good idea to clean the grinder as well. By the way, cleaning is extremely easy.
There is a plastic washer with a screw on the top and that oddly enough gets loose causing grind issues & frustrations. So you just need to watch it.
One of the bigger disappointments is the “zero retention” promise. If you put in 20g of beans, you expect 20g out — and that’s not always the case. I often find myself shaking the grinder on the countertop to coax out retained grounds. Sometimes it’s nearly a full gram short, which means either more shaking or adding extra beans to compensate.
I eventually solved this by purchasing an aftermarket silicone retention bellow from Amazon. After every grind, I give it a few taps, and the air pressure pushes out the remaining grounds. That does the job! Maybe niche zero should include that in their packaging!
Overall, I’m mostly happy with the Niche Zero. Still, as I consider the price paid, I would have expected it to better live up to its promises without requiring aftermarket fixes and nuances.
I recommended Niche to a friend who…
I recommended Niche to a friend who thought I was crazy to spend so much on a grinder. He bought based upon my recommendation and is now hooked! He and his wife both love the Niche!
Lovely espresso and workflow
Very happy with the Niche Zero I bought for use with a Lelit Elizabeth, very consistent results and enjoyable workflow. Finding it easy to dial in different beans versus my friend who finds it really finnicky with his Eureka Mignon and has ended up sticking with one bean only.
Small and powerful
I’ve had the Niche Zero for more than 3 years. It’s my warhorse for single grinds. I use light beans so I don’t have to clean and calibrate often. A little amount of grinds that remain can be released by tapping.
Great Product
Incredible consistency, minimal retention, and so quiet. Only complaint is that it needs to be recalibrated often.
transformational....
I bought a new Lelit Elizabeth machine to pair with my old Sage Pro grinder and wondered if I would ever get a good shot - to the point I was considering returning the Lelit and going back to a stove top. After reading more reviews that is good for anyone I took the plunge and ordered a Niche Zero. To say it transformed the whole espresso making experience is an understatement. Total control and consistently good results. I'm one of those people who are deeply sceptical about all the talk of flavours like "dark chocolate and deep berries" but I kid you not this grinder brings out all that and more. I am a true convert and very happy with what is an outstanding bit of equipment.
I received this as a gift
I received this as a gift, so im not sure about the company. The coffee was supreme. I was more than satisfied.
Grinder with 0 retention is impressive
Grinder with 0 retention is impressive. That is how it should be. Its more for single dose and it does the job. So easy to use and so easy to clean. And it uses little space on the counter to be stored and looks good on the counter as well.
The Niche Zero is a well-known grinder for good reason
The Niche Zero is a well-known grinder, and is well-renowned for mid-tier home espresso. It’s excellent, looks lovely, and Niche provide great support after purchase. I’ve had mine for over a year now, and have had no issues or complaints.
Couldn't be happier
It's been 2 years since I got the Niche zero and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Simple to use, very consistent and very easy to maintain!
